Not because she suspected it was fake, but because she was offended or something? Another time I asked to step outside to smoke and she said if I did I'd have to get back in line (I only asked because she, for some reason, keeps the door of the bar locked from the inside). She also dresses in a militarized costume, as if she it gives her more authority or something. How annoying she makes the experience of going to mash is well known amongst everyone I know who goes. This woman epitomizes abuse of power -- so thank god she has close to none.

The crowd at mash is more collegiate than I was expecting -- I thought a whiskey inspired bar would driver an older crowd, but the bar was packed with early 20-somethings on a Saturday night. If you show up past 9pm on the weekend, there's a good chance you won't find a seat and will have to wait 20 minutes to get through the line at the bar, but Mash serves as a great place to meet up with the crew. As we were leaving around 11, we spotted a huge line out the door trying to get in too; it seems like the collegiate clientele have really designated Mqsh as the place to be on a weekend night!
