We met the gentleman who maintains this wonderful display year after year and he was kind enough to speak to us for a few minutes while we checked out the production. The house for years was located on Adams run road in Lousiville has moved over to green manor drive a few years back. Still has the same fun and charm as it did at the previous location. The lights are awesome but the roller coaster is always the main event for me and my kids. It takes about 2.5 minutes for a full cycle but it is well worth the wait. A true holiday tradition me and the kids check out every year. It is also only a few miles away from other local legends off outer loop road in toyland Christmas and blue light show. Plus is a Mile or so away from highview holiday fest awesome lights at highview park. So it is truly in a hotspot for awesome holiday lights exploring and you can make a really cool and fun night in that small few mile radius. One thing I always like to give a friendly reminder to people when it comes to awesome light displays like this is for people to please remember this is in a functioning residential neighborhood and to please be courteous to peoples properties and privacy. It can get very crowded here especially the closer you get to Christmas. So just be patient and enjoy the lights and let everyone else do so as well. Overall very cool and fun tradition my family and I do every year. The owner has a sign where he says donations to help with his lg&e are appreciated. Which I can understand and I don't think that's outlandish as this house has provided holiday cheer for many over the years locally in the louisville area.

Thrilling feature is the enormous roller coaster in the front yard that is taller than the house. Santa and several reindeer are in 3 cars that inch up the hill and finally Vrooooom down the steep hill on the far side, travels through a loop (!!!), and then the process repeats. A sign in the front yard indicates the activity circuit lasts 2-1/2 minutes, which allows viewing to take place from the roadway queue and then be on your way. Display also has several other action elements -- a carousel, a swing, and Ferris wheel. Lots to see! This display has been here for many years and we never get tired seeing it. Many thanks for the homeowners for their time and effort creating this fantastic display. :)

I'm not an artist by any means, but I enjoy painting. I'm not too great at it on my own, but thankfully these kits were easy to use and came with all of the colors you need. Not to mention, there are so many different designs to choose from! I picked out a sunflower and my fiance got the American flag mason jar. It made us feel so productive, and now we have a couple cute things to hang on our door! Normally they do painting sessions, which I would love to check out someday. Like a lot of mall Santa setups they go with the easily identifiable name of Santa workshop. And whole Jefferson mall may be considered the worst mall in Lousiville they have traditional have and continue to have the best Santa meet and greet experience. I've taken my kids here for the last decade plus and this is even where I went as a youngster to meet Santa. Not sure why or how but they always have the most authentic, nicest and legit feeling Santa clauses. They always have a nice extravagant setup in the middle or ends of the mall and they offer fair holiday picture prices along with cool decorative frames and things. However if you just want to meet Santa then you can do that for free with no strings attach. Long time and fun tradition for my family and many other local Lousiville families. One of my favorite memories is a few years ago they had a Santa who played the guitar and sand sing alongs with mj kids and my nephews and niece. We visited on a early December weekday after school and nobody else was there so the Santa took the time and created a life long memory for all the kids. You can book a time in advance; however, with Christmas almost here their last 2 days will be walk-up only. The young guys working the entrance and check out were helpful with questions and friendly. The photographer was too, encouraging me to get additional shots because I'd be able to download all the shots digitally. Only one package offered this year. Quite a few printed and all other digitally. I got a text within 30 minutes telling me the shots were ready. Love these memories!

Personalize by Santa is a holiday superstore that specializes in personalized (putting names or custom messages) items such as ornaments and other holiday decor. They run somewhat decent deals as you can get 3 items (usually ornaments) for $35 and that includes the customization. Over the years my wife has come here almost every year to get ornaments with all of our names and the year at the bottom to add to our Christmas tree. We've also gifted my parents Similar items with all the grandkids names on it. They always go a quick and good job and the ornaments are always sturdy and have good handwriting and very legible to read. Overall it's always a fun trip to stop in here and browse and see the options. As my family is continually growing so is our shopping history here. We may be the reason they come back every season :). Pretty cool holiday tradition we do and usually after getting our new ornament made it always gets us in the holiday spirit.
