It was SO good! We also had the duck which was served in a peppercorn sauce - I wouldn't have thought of this pairing but it was amazing. And we had sticky toffee pudding for dessert (probably the best I've ever had). They also are able to make a lot of their cocktails virgin in case you're unable or don't want to drink alcohol. The servers were very sweet and helpful as well. It's a smidge loud and there will be people getting up to take photos but I think it's just because they're all enjoying the experience.

Went for dinner Christmas Day and had ask why our food was more than an hour late…read more We came in, ordered at 5:50 and at 7 we had to ask if our food was coming or not. I've eaten here several times on Christmas Day and other busy holiday nights so I can understand that it's very busy but this is the first time that I felt that they weren't very concerned about the service we received. I can understand if there's an issue and that we need to wait, but we expect to be informed of the issue and not just have to sit and wonder what the problem was or if they even put our order in. When our fixed menu entree eventually came at 7:10 we just got it packed up with our desserts and left since we hadn't planned to just sit and stare at the bar for an extra hour. The owner kinda said something about the server not knowing something across a loud bar but I couldn't really hear and honestly didn't have the patience to hear what seemed like the owner blame shifting. The server was perfect. But I don't understand why we couldn't have been informed about a delay by the owner? He was there the whole time but didn't seem interested in the people eating at his restaurant. We had looked forward to eating out here all week and were quite dissatisfied about the quality of service and sadly can't justify going back. Fixed menu with 4 drinks + tip was more than $300 which seems high based on the low quality of service. Many better newer places on the mountain. Sad to have to branch out.

That said we waited for a bit to be sat, and then a little longer to be served. It was far from closing, but the staff seemed more intent on cleaning Ong up than serving us. We ordered two pizzas as they were on special, a Pepperoni and the Hawaiian, which we have had at Match in Langley. Oddly they really didn't resemble what we were familiar with, but were ok. We sort of felt like we were imposing, although there was nothing outwardly said or done. Having worked in the restaurant business way back, I recall the vibe when you just want to get everything done and get out of there. That's what we got, along with very average food and service.
