The good news is that the food was actually very good--the calamari was excellent and we both enjoyed the poke bowls. Sadly, that's about where the good news ended. The cleanliness was not impressive. Throughout the entire meal, I was apparently sharing my dinner with a small squadron of flies. I spent most of the evening swatting them away from me and my food. Not exactly the anniversary dinner companion I had in mind! The service was also quite disorganized. We had four different servers come to our table, and it seemed like each one was unaware that our order had already been taken. Even though the restaurant was only about half full, we repeatedly got the feeling that they were hoping we would finish up and move along. We were asked several times if we wanted the bill--including before we had even been offered dessert. Then, while I was only halfway through my dessert, the server arrived with the bill and payment machine and asked if I was ready to pay. At that point, I politely asked if we could please be left alone to finish our dessert and enjoy the rest of our anniversary evening before paying. Apparently, 32 years of marriage still wasn't enough time to justify another 10 minutes at the table! It's unfortunate because the food was good, but for a special occasion like our 32nd anniversary, we expected much better service, cleanliness, and a more relaxed and welcoming experience. We won't be returning after this experience. The food may have been good, but fighting off flies while being encouraged to leave isn't quite the anniversary package we were looking for.

We went in early and were seated easily but if you come anytime from 6 on, reservations might be required to ensure you have a wonderful meal. My meal was gluten free and instead everything on the plate had gluten (no gf bun and crispy onions). The second time the food was awful. Also the gluten free menu doesn't have the prices. I was told to pick two sides so I did and then I was charged for one of the sides. I ordered food to go and the portion was laughable. The service was horrible in both locations, the food is not good AND it's ridiculously priced. I could have had an AMAZING meal at the Keg for just a few $ more. I will never go to this restaurant again in any location!
