When I lived in the UK I was a successful well known actress who worked in theater and TV on TV for many years. During that time I did countless modeling and photo shoots and worked with top London stylists and leading make-up artists. So I think I know a good stylist when I find one. When I first came to LA in 2004, I went to several in Beverly Hills, etc...they were good, but then I stumbled across Lida and her team, completely by accident. I have never looked back. I've added my recent hair cut photos, please note, I don't color my hair anymore - decided to let the grey grow through, I am 60 now! This was my hair cut by Lida 6 weeks ago, just before my birthday in March. The real Lida talent is that 6 weeks later, I can wash my hair and go - the cut is so exemplary, I don't have to blow dry or use product to make it look great. The cut is everything and Lida is that - she is the gal with everything. Plus there is always great conversation, other great women and fabulous food and beverages for everyone. She definitely has a God given talent. She explained what she had to do to get them to match as well as what I needed to do to get them to where I wanted them. She uses thread and tweezers. I've been getting my lashes done for years, so I know how to care for them. Some tips for others: - Don't allow your lashes to get wet the day they are done. - Don't let water from the shower head hit your lashes directly - this is really harsh on them. This really harsh on your face too. - You can get water on them (after day one of course) and you SHOULD wash them! I splash water on my face and very carefully clean my lashes with clean fingertips. It's important to clean them - you don't want nasty build up! - Be mindful about how you sleep. I'm a side sleeper and, like most side sleepers, prefer one side over the other. If I don't switch up sides often I've noticed the lashes of my preferred side will fall off faster. Every now and then I sleep on my stomach - this is the absolute worst for my lashes as they consistently rub on the pillow at night. How you care for your lashes directly correlates to how long they last. I usually redo my lashes every two weeks to keep them consistent. By the way, Ray gives great massages. I've gone to him several times for this service and I continue returning because I feel very comfortable around him. I highly encourage everyone to check out Ray's services!

I decided to text the business, to see if there were any cancellations and they responsed so quickly and very professional (which is a rare fine already these days). Just my luck there was an open appointment, and I booked with IVY whom I wanted to see. The shop is very clean, and modern minimal style which is right up my alley. I was greeted right when I came in, and actually taken right away. I told her I was a first time customer, and IVY took the time to ask me questions about what I wanted for my eyebrows. She even asked me if I was okay with starting me while she finishing tinting someone else (I appreciate she gave me the option, and I didnt mind her going between both of us) Everything was a 10/10. The way she mapped my eyebrows, the conversation/music we were listening too. She checked in with me during every step to make sure I was comfortable, and happy. I would definitely go back for tinting after talking to IVY about them. After the shaping, she asked me if I wanted them filled in as well (she even offered if I wanted to watch her to do it step by step). I actually really loved my eyebrows, with the fill in & with out. The prices was $35 for threading, + $2.00 card fee. Thank you IVY, I will be back. Already got a few compliments on my eyebrows!
