Andrea has lived up to her name as "brow queen" because she's truly AMAZING. I knew from the start that I could trust her work. Other LA-based artists also known for the hyperreal/natural microblading work are soo difficult to book (at least THREE months in advance omg), but Andrea made herself available to me and booked me within two weeks! Parking is super easy, shared by the church next door. I came to her with lightly filled brows to give her an idea of how I shaped them on a daily, and I also pulled up selfies of my glam looks. I'm fairly particular about my brows, and for years I've received compliments for the way I do them so this decision to microblade was bittersweet. But Andrea made me feel comfortable. She cleaned up my brows (hence the redness in the "before" pic) then outlined/measured with a pencil first to get my approval of the shape. She then proceeded with the first round or "outline" to which she couldn't use numbing cream for... (guessing for color retention purposes) and sheesh, I ain't gonna lie, that was painful. I knew to just bite the bullet and get through those first few minutes. Midway, she put numbing cream before working on the inner details, which didn't feel as bad as the first run. Before I knew it, my brows were finished and was shocked to see that it wasn't my real hair! Def worth the pain. Andrea is amazing and if you're thinking about microblading, get them done by her. She is Amazing when it comes to eyebrows. I didn't get any bumps or redness from the Wax. She's very friendly and professional. I loved how my eyebrows came out and she definitely gives your eyebrows shape. Eyelash Extensions: 2/5 stars Unfortunately, I recently got my eyelash extensions here and they did not last. When she was finished with my eyelash extensions, I LOVED them. She listens to what you want and makes it happen. But sadly, they were falling out like crazy. It's been a week and 3 days and I literally only have 6 lashes left on one of my eyes. The other eye has about 9 lashes left. I found this on Yelp and decided to try about a month ago. I liked the place and my eyebrows looked spectacular. The lady who helped me (the owner) was lively and likeable and its evident that she'll be very successful. But I was surprised that the place was wax only and also surprised that an eyebrow wax could cost $40. I should have checked the price beforehand, but eyebrow waxes are usually in the tens and the most I've paid for threading is $25. I was caught a little off guard. I'm still giving five stars because although I don't think it's necessary for my everyday life, they do put you under a brightly lit magnifying mirror to give your eyebrows an examination (while cheaper places definitely don't) and I think they do that service well. read more
