Staff are very friendly and there usually isn't a long wait when I drop in. Interior is clean and there's a parking lot next to the shop. Love this threading salon!!! The eyebrow lady always takes her time making sure she really gets all of the hair out no matter how fine it is. She even does the outer sides of your eyes!!! You do have to be patient though because she dedicates so much time to each person probably like ten or fifteen months so I would come during work hours or when no more than one person is there if you can't wait. Didn't follow my instructions at all. I grow my eyebrows out for weeks and then ask them to be threaded "thin & arched". After she roughly threaded my brows (I've been getting threaded for over 10 years so I've experienced it all) she handed me the mirror and they literally looked the exact same as when I had walked in. Even worse actually there were patches of in threaded hair making me look crazy! I asked her to please clean it up and make it thinner. She threaded one eye brow and was like okay done. I looked in the mirror again and it was still very thick. O tried to explain to her one last time i would like them then and she threaded a little bit more of my other eyebrow and said done.... After looking in the mirror for the third time and realizing she either didn't understand or was refusing to do so I just got up paid and left. I won't be back. read more

I've gotten my eyebrows threaded for years and this place is the best price and quality! First off - it has a very open schedule that accepts walk a at any time. Even when I've waited, it's been no longer than 15 minutes. I was surprised wIth other places in the area you have to make an appointment... and its about double the price. Which brings me to my next point- her prices can't bbe beat!!! I got both my eyebrows and upper lip threaded for $11! The quality of the owner's work is amazing too. Let's face it ladies-- threading is a little painful. Some places I've been to have made me cry in pain or even bleed... but not this place! She is gifted at what she does as and has a selection of lotions (I.e. witch hazel and aloe among them) that help you heal faster. So glad to have found this place, thanks to Yelp! Been here twice - eyebrows turned out great both times! No wait at all either time that I visited.

Yanu (idk if I spelled it right) took her time and was very gentle. I teared up during the stache lol but she wiped away my tear so sweet! I was looking for quick place to thread my eyebrows during my lunch break and discovered this place. I wasn't really sure if there was a parking lot, but I managed to find a spot on the street. Parking might be difficult on a weekend since it's a busy area. Luckily there was only one person in the chair ahead of me, so I didn't have to wait long for my turn. I agrees with other reviewers that they are very meticulous. She definitely takes her time and you can tell she is being very precise. I like how she wipes off the hairs each time she threads. My usual place doesn't even bother to do that! It's a nice, clean shop with very reasonable prices. Only issue is that my brows came out slightly uneven. Wanted to love this place, but the person that did my eyebrows made on kind of thinner and left the other one thicker though she was saying there was some part growing in which I already knew but then why make the one that isn't growing in so thin ??? She didn't speak much English so I couldn't tell her to trim my eyebrow more ... they take card and cash, I waited 30 mins .. there was 3 people before me and then no one after me - just my luck right ? She was also like literally leaning on my chest while working on my brows so that was uncomfortable and heavy! She was very nice though but she didn't sanitize her hands before touching my face, she instead sanitized her hands after the last person, then went to take their cash and then went to work on my brows right away. There's an assortment of things to put on your eyebrows that she offers like witch hazel but I am used to aloe so I chose that. She also cut my skin a little bit. Iv been getting my eyebrows threaded for 25 years and Iv had eyebrows threaded all over the world and Giano who works at this salon is by far the best! She makes my eyebrows look magic! I have been one day when Giano was not in and unfortunately the other lady didn't meet my expectations but that ok! I'll just go through the week and during the day when it's quiet and Giano is working! If you are in a hurry I would not suggest going here but if you do wait, it's really worth it! Giano takes her time to give you the perfect shape and also the fact that she doesn't hurt me is a bonus! It's mega cheap too. Iv read some reviews about staff being rude but honestly, there is only ever one of them and their English is a bit broken so I don't think they mean to be rude! This place is the very first place for me to not to feel pain. Also, usually after doing an eyebrow threading, the surrounding areas may get swollen a bit and get red for few hours. No such thing happened here! Ok - Ashmine did a great job. Very happy with the results. She was very thorough- even w the space between the brows that usually don't get much attention. Love the attention to detail. I would totally go back. Parking in the street was easy too though I think they're attached to the shopping center so you can park in their lot (double check this though-wouldn't want you to be towed). I usually go to my regular place in Highland Park but with my FT job now it's hard for me to drive over there so this place is more convenient. So happy that I finally was able to find a place that's good and closer. Thank the hubby for that one cause he was actually looking for places for me on Yelp. I found Lotus Eyebrow through YELPing and checking out their reviews and I was not disappointed, not the least! I came in for full face threading and half my neck. Ashminé (I probably completely mispelled her name) provided wonderful service by asking how my day was going and checking through out the service that I was ok. I usually can endure a lot of pain during threading but my least favorite part is my upper lip and Ashminé made sure I was fine. She was meticulous in detail and even asked if I wanted some creme applied after the service in which was massaged on...a bonus! Very happy with my service and result! P.S. Appointment isn't needed but you can call in to see if they are busy etc. I missed the shop initially and drove by it so just know it's connected to Ararat Plaza shopping center in between Best Deal clothing shop and a Photo shop on Glendale Ave. across from an Allstate dealer shop and a fire station. read more
