I have been coming here for years but my recent visit was terrible. My brows usually don't take long to clean, but for some reason the lady that did them (Blonde hair) took long and ended up thinning them out. I was told at payment that brows are $17 now, sure no problem. I was going to pay with card and she asked me to pull out cash from the ATM, okay no problem. Another woman is charging me and assumes I'm paying with the whole $20 that I pulled out + $2. Customers still choose their own tip right? She looks at me funny and asks "The rest is for her, right?" No ma'am. She gives me my $5 in change and I hand her $2 more and say "This is for her." Today was my last day coming. The 1-2 star reviews about their attitudes and communication are still true. Brows look so good. The brow artist was also gentle, I usually prefer wax to thread because of the pain. I think I changed my mind today. FYI brows were $15. Rude, unless you look like someone they want to service, don't even bother giving them your money. I have been here several times, hoping! That one day they will see me and appreciate me as a customer. The only reason I kept coming is because of convenience. I rather drive a distance to a place I feel welcome. I never know when they are done with service because they never give sense of direction on what they are doing, they don't ask anything unless you speak their language. I show up with a smile hoping to receive a sense of welcome back and it never happens. The only thing they know how to do is make you feel like you are beneath them. This is a very no-frills place to get your brows threaded. I went here after seeing all of the positive reviews and drove here all the way from Koreatown! Like others have mentioned, its in a shopping mall and next to a Target. Lots of parking. No appointments, you just go up and sign in and tell them if you have a preference on technician or not. It was my first time and I got Karen. She asked for a photo reference if I had one (I did) and asked what I wanted. Then she got straight to work. She did tell me my left eyebrow tail was over plucked by me so I'd need to grow it out. She even did my brows with makeup at the end to show me what an "ideal"shape would look like! Honestly I should've come here after I let my brows grow out more so that they'd have more to work with! My eyebrows came out thinner than I wanted but I did like the shape. I'm planning to grow out my eyebrows over the next few weeks and then come back here so that I get the shape I want plus the thickness. read more

Came here at 6:48 pm when it says they close at 7 pm. I was in line and there was ONE PERSON in front of me and they told me they were closed but took the person in front of me. It's been absolutely years since I've been here but we where shopping at Target and left my husband & son in the toy/video game section. As I entered the place they started talking in their own language about me and you know how you know it's not positive chit chat but wtf! Chit chat. I was just here for my eyebrows, they made such a huge issue about my mobility scooter. Seriously it was not that big a deal, I had shown them how to lift up the red handle and move it outside for all I cared. It apparently took too much space. I have been going to this place since I was about 21-22 they have always been great been with them when they were $10 & now $15. This is the second time that they have messed up my eyebrows, Im always nervous to come because I'm scared they will massacre my eyebrows, I always come in with full grown brows, I have a nice shape and always ask for a clean up I like my brows to be natural not thin like a chola or 90's. In June of 2022 I went in & came back out with really thin and uneven brows I cried so much. Today sep 2024 I went in with full brows to come out with thinned out brows and one shorter than the other again coming home crying my eyes out. I won't be going back. Being scared of my outcome is not with it. Re-train your staff. read more

I've been coming to this place for a few years only for a few reasons. 1) it's a 5 min drive from my place 2) affordable 3) the work is decent. There is one lady in particular that always gets my brows right, but I don't know her name. Anyway, I have decided to stop coming here because the women that work here are extremely hostile. They are not friendly. When you are being worked on they speak in their language and laugh A LOT. It's uncomfortable and unprofessional. These ladies legit give you dirty looks if you don't have cash to pay for a service under $10. Please provide a sign cash only for services under $10. I've always felt like they talk bad about me or people in general while rendering services. Another commenter confirmed they do talk bad about customers. One of the threaders (black hair & blue eyes) especially gives mean girl vibes. After my service was done, I asked for her to get the hairs she missed and she proceed to talk about me to her coworkers.
