I ended up getting in excellent shape without ever stepping food into a gym. I had a car accident and took a break from training until the doctor cleared me. My husband, which is familiar with mobility techniques, wasn't able to "unlock" his neck on his own to be able to fully extend it left to right, for example, when driving.
