The bodypump class was a weight based class working the entire body. Everything is based on your comfort level, no judgement, so you use the weights that are appropriate for you. The music was energizing, and the instructor was very kind and sweet and came to say hi as it was my first time trying out her class. For the quick 30 minute recovery class, the trainer was patient, friendly, and showed us a variety of stretching exercises. There were only 3 people so we got a lot of attention. The gym was very busy in the evenings when I went, and I saw some people even waiting to use certain equipment.

I'm so glad I got to meet her. She helped me through my shoulder injury recovery and was always checking on me. If you are ever feeling like you don't want to workout pick a class with coach Max or James. They are funny, supportive and will push you to your best potential. James is full of resourceful information if you need any help with nutrition or workouts. What I also enjoyed the most about this studio was the front desk staff! The front desk staff is always cheerful, even at 5AM, and the studio is usually quite clean. They recently switched to an iPad for checking in and claiming your station, which is nice too.

I was criticized for the way I train, my girlfriend was criticized, and berated for how we work out in order to try to sell us training that we were clearly not wanting. After this grueling process, we realized this gym is way too overcrowded, and no matter where you turn, you WILL be recorded by someone. There are so many tripods anywhere you look, in front of the machines, in the walkways, in the free weights, and you cannot escape people recording you from any angle. After I decided I was tired of waiting an hour for a bench press, I decided to cancel my membership. However, the process of cancelling had to drag out at least 30 minutes. The staff dragged their feet, could not figure out their own systems, tried to convince me not to leave, walked away various times in the middle of our conversation to address other guests, and were very unprofessional. I would not recommend this gym to anyone, and will never set foot in a Crunch again from this experience.
