I gave written notice before the billing cycle started and even offered to pay for the 30-day period. Despite that, they refused to freeze my membership unless I submitted a doctor's note -- something that is not required anywhere in the contract for a freeze. The only part of the contract that even mentions a doctor's note refers to permanent disability or death for cancellation, not for a temporary freeze like in my case. Back in 2021, they froze my membership without asking for any documentation, and I know other members who've had the same. So clearly, they apply their rules selectively and withhold help when it matters most. Instead of treating me with fairness, they sent my account to collections for $860. This is not just poor customer service -- it feels like they're trying to profit off people's misfortune. If you're considering joining, do not sign a long-term contract. They are not helpful, not transparent, and not flexible when life happens.

I called corporate twice; no return call ever from them. Then I did get the manager a few times. Maria put me on hold for a full ten minutes, before I hung up, called again and got the voicemail. That was the first hold. Second hold, a few days later, I got put on hold again by Maria. Left again, by Maria. Called back and got her. She tried to coax me into staying many times. It was VERY OBVIOUS she was trying to get me to the 30 day mark and I said, NO CANCEL THIS and she said she did, apologized and I thought that was it. Until Sunday, May 26th when I received an email from a collections company!! I cannot believe this is happening. This is 2026 and predatory subscription practices still going strong.
