Great place for dermatology, they have lots of connections for anything they might not offer, office is newly renovated and it has good providers depending my on who you see- I've highlighted a few below. I echo what others have said about the providers booking out pretty far but for any emergencies (re skin cancer), they've been able to fit me in. I've been seeing Dr. Bryn Marsh for 5+ years now and cannot say enough good things about my experience with her. She listens and is attentive, offers various solutions and is open to trying new things as I navigate very acne and skin cancer prone skin. I see her for everything from biopsies to skin checks to Botox. Lots of turnover with the PAs but never had a bad experience. I also saw Dr. Pusey while on Accutane due to scheduling conflicts with Dr. Marsh and she was equally as attentive, calm and knowledgeable. Robin (who helps schedules Mohs surgery) is one of the kindest people ever. She is so sweet, level-headed and explains things extremely well. Ann in billing is amazing and really works with you and your insurance. The front desk had a lot of turnover recently and due to the learning curve, was charging me (and my partner who sees Dr. Fender) for wrong things or wrong amounts, and Ann remedied it for both of us quickly and effectively after we called. The only negative experience I had was with Dr. Walter for a chemical peel. Without getting into too much detail, I felt dismissed, talked down to and as though normal post-op questions from a first time peel patient were a waste of his time. I will not book with him again, but am extremely happy with the other providers at Hill Center so hasn't deterred me from going back. read more

Saw Greg for Botox and he did an outstanding job of listening attentively and offering advice to start gradually - less is more (for my first time). He gave me honest feedback about what was and was not possible with fillers. He told me what to expect in the next few weeks and as my face started to "settle," I was so impressed that I referred the rest of my family! I now have 3 other family members that have seen him for one concern or another and have all been very pleased with his sweet demeanor and kind bedside manner. read more

Tried to get help with insurance approval on a prescription for a painful outbreak condition. Had to make multiple calls into them, and when someone finally responded, I was told they would get back to me when it was convenient for them. That is just not good patient care. read more

It's hard to find a good dermatologist that gets you in in a reasonable amount of time. I had no problem with either situation with Hill Dermatology. The other great thing is that I was seen on time. That doesn't happen most of the time with doctors. I had a very thorough skin check, had a couple spots taken off and the results within a day. Very impressive. read more

My experience with Hill Center was negative. I went there to address a small "spot" on my back that had persisted for a couple of months. I was handed over to a PA (Greg?), who looked at the spot, but didn't perform ANY diagnostics. He promptly declared that he new exactly what the issue was, and prescribed TWO ointments for me to apply daily for two weeks. When I got to the pharmacy, however, there was only one prescription. I called Hill Center, but they were closed. I left a vmail, and they finally called me back three days later. The person that called said the PA had "changed his mind" and only prescribed ONE ointment -- gee, thanks for letting me know. After the two week treatment, the spot was no better, so I went back. This time the PA actually DID do I diagnostic test. He did a biopsy. Unfortunately, there was no pre-treatment of the area (no alcohol, iodine, etc.), he just took a scalpel, carved off a piece of skin, and had his assistant put a bandaid on the wound. The next morning the site was obviously infected -- at that point, I was done with Hill Center. I found a dermatologist I trust! read more

I had a very negative experience with Dr. Walter. I have been a patient at this facility for a couple of years for acne. I have seen multiple different people at this office, and tried pretty much every other treatment besides Accutane. I am unable to take this drug for personal and medical reasons. I recently met Dr. Walter to get a couple of painful, cystic pimples injected and he basically lectured me the whole time about how I need to try A, B and C to cure my acne, to which I responded "I have." All of his solutions were something I have tried and tried again, with no results. He was quite rude and said my only other option is Accutane, which I said I do not want to take. He definitely did not like my answer and said that he would inject me but it's not a permanent solution. Which I am aware of. In no means was I leaning on cortisone injections as a regular part of my routine - this was my FIRST ever cortisone injection. I called again the following week because one of the cysts he injected did not go away, and it is known that some cysts may take a second dose. The front desk girl said that he refuses to see me again for cortisone injections and he told all of the other providers to deny me as well because last appointment he discussed other acne treatments that I rejected. So apparently if you don't listen to them and refuse to take Accutane, they will stop serving you as a customer. Very unfortunate and disappointing. read more

I wish I had found Hill Center as soon as I moved here four years ago. I originally came here for a second opinion after a nail biopsy in April of 2015. From what I remember, everyone was extremely kind, scheduling was easy and the facility was clean, organized and straightforward to find. It's been a couple years and I decided to begin setting up annual skin checkups. I didn't hesitate to set up an appointment at Hill Center and have one scheduled for early December with their newest doctor, Dr. Rangwala. After scheduling that appointment, I noticed a new and itchy rash on my legs and hips. I called and asked if I could see Dr. Rangwala as I was hoping to see the same doctor that would be doing my annual exams moving forward. They were able to get me in the following morning at 8 AM, which I highly appreciated - early morning appointments work really well for my schedule so I always am glad when doctors offer morning appointments. I arrived a few minutes early to fill out paperwork and was greeted by a kind and welcoming staff, even at 7:45 in the morning! All of my paperwork was ready for me to fill out and all I had to do was provide a copy of my insurance card. They certainly have their process streamlined. After filling out paperwork, I was taken back to an exam room maybe two minutes later and spoke with a nurse who took notes on my symptoms and what I'd be doing for treatment thus far. She asked me to change and Dr. Rangwala was in just a few minutes later. The exam was thorough and Dr. Rangwala made me feel very comfortable. She is personable and seems very good at what she does. She answered all my questions, eased my concerns and explained what I should do for treatment. She also made sure I had a follow up scheduled. Before coming into the exam room, she had taken a look at my history and asked me a few questions about different aspects of it when she came in - I appreciate how prepared she was. Going to the doctor and getting annual checkups is not always fun, but Hill Center for Dermatology and Dr. Rangwala makes the process much easier. I have to say that the employees of Hill Center definitely try to be excellent patient advocates. In October I had a small cyst removed by Mike, and later learned that my insurance did not cover the procedure. Instead of letting me simply pay the uninsured portion of the medical bill (which would have been hundreds and hundreds of dollars), one of their employees kept hounding my insurance company to get it covered as a medically necessary procedure. I was CC'd on at least three letters in the mail from different attempts to get the procedure covered. I have yet to receive my final bill, but I am so thrilled and amazed that Hill Center went to such great lengths in filing my insurance claim. *I wanted to add that they did this without any prodding from me whatsoever. I never received a call from them - all of a sudden I just simply started getting letters in the mail, and finally received my bill today, asking for a mere $10. read more

Oh Dr. Hill - you are perfect. You see just about all of my family now and we all couldn't be more happy. I've been to dermatologists before that make you wait over an hour and then limit your time to 2 skin 'issues'.... WHAT? But Dr. Hill and his staff are phenomenal. You're appointment is at 3? Guess what you go back to the exam room at 3 and are greeted by Dr. Hill at 3:01 - no joking. Further he is a great guy - instead of the typical eyeing I get for my tattoos he was so impressed with them and told me they were beautiful. I think he was even more impressed that because of them I never go in the sun! Plus he's a good Dr. He doesn't scare you, make you think you have cancer, trick you into unnecessary procedures or pass you off to the nurse. This place gets 5 stars because they are so accommodating to my grandma that goes here - once she forgot her wallet and they didn't make us feel badly and welcomingly took the credit card number over the phone after we got back to her house. read more

I am an established patient at this clinic, I am currently trying to address an active problem and they can't see me to December. It absolutely is frustrating that you can not help your patients when they need you. I have no problem scheduling out check-ups/skin checks that far out but if I need care, I just hope I would have been able to get it. read more

I've seen quite a few dermatologists over the years and Dr. Hill was the best I've come across. With an early morning appointment the wait time was non-existant. His bedside manner was much much better than I've experienced at other places. He sounded like he actually cared about me and my situation. He took time to talk to me and give me descriptions and directions with my medication. Unlike one of the other reviewers I was able to call and get a refill with no trouble. Even after finishing the reason I had come there he suggested he take a look over the rest of my skin to see if there were any worrisome moles or other things on my skin. I didn't have to ask for this and I've never had another dermatologist proactively offer to do a quick check. Dr. Hill really cares about his patients which seems to be something that is hard to come by these days. read more

I was referred to Hill Dermatology for an annoying skin irritation that wouldn't go away after six months of hell! I had all my questions answered and even learned a few things, too. My problem was completely gone within weeks! I even came back to have a full exam for skin cancer and they are REALLY thorough. You can walk away feeling confident and they never make you feel stupid for any questions you may ask. Their staff is friendly, efficient and like previous reviews have said, no wait! This was a wonderful experience. I'm 42 years old and I hadn't been to a dermatologist before, but found a spot on my face and wanted to get it checked out by the specialist vs. my general family doctor. The whole experience was great! I arrived 10 minutes early like they requested, walked in and was greeted by a friendly receptionist, and filled out just a couple short forms, and literally waited just a minute until they called my name, AND I was seen right at my appointment time! Dr. Hill came highly recommended from several neighbors. A great indication that he's got a good thing going by the amount of time he books out. Thankfully I was able to get on his cancellations list and get in shortly after initially calling. From the time you arrive at the office - you are pleasantly and professionally greeted by the front office environment and staff to his medical staff getting you started to he doing your evaluation - everything was 5+ stars! He's got terrific, unassuming bedside manner, an overall great demeanor, is thorough, thoughtful, didn't rush through anything and made sure to go over some good details about skin cancer - kind of like his own (well intended, well received) Public Service announcement (PSA). He had to recommend a treatment plan for me and I'd asked him about something a another Dermatologist had recommended previously (which I had concerns with bc of how extreme it was), and he politely said that's am 'old school' treatment and had a new recommendation - far less intrusive and highly effective. I have been going to Dr Hill for a few years, and I have never had a bad experience. As a person with a history of skin cancers, I have to be diligent in my skin healthcare. The staff at Dr. Hill's office is always courteous, professional, and very easy to talk to. My appointments are always on time, so I have never been left sitting in a waiting room for a half hour because they are overbooked that day (a pet peeve of mine). Dr. Hill is very knowledgeable, personable, explains things fully, and is very reasonable on what needs to be looked at further, and what is fine. I am thorough about my skin healthcare, so I also go separately to the CU research hospital to get checked periodically, and the diagnosis is always consistent both places, and he is highly thought of there too. Terrible practice. It took Dr. Hill 4 visits to diagnose psoriasis, a simple condition. When I needed a refill for the cortisone cream, the receptionist insisted I come in for a visit to get the prescription. I called my primary care doctor and he was happy to write the prescription and found it hard to believe it took a dermatologist 4 visits to diagnose psoriasis . My daughter had a growth removed, they tested the cells and there were abnormal cells. They never contacted her .When she came in for a routine follow up visit a year later, he tried to remove the rest of the growth and was unsuccessful removing it all. She needed to go to a different dermatologist to have it removed properly. USE THIS PRACTICE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! read more

My husband and I both had our first preventative screenings here this summer. I chose this place based on the stellar reviews they received online and everyone was right--this team is awesome! It was easy to schedule an appointment although they are booked out several weeks, the team is supported by a super professional and well-run office, their intake forms are easy and quick, they collect your insurance when you first schedule so it's already on file, they provide helpful reminder calls, and our appointments started on time and went quickly and smoothly. We both had Brynn and she was awesome! She was clear, fast, thorough and to the point which we appreciated as working professionals. They provided helpful literature and explained the biopsy process and timelines clearly. We were able to call the after hours line on the weekend with a question on how things were healing and heard back within 20 minutes. We are very thankful we found this clinic and are excited to make them our new provider. read more

I had my first skin check at Hill Center for Dermatology in early August. I was warmly greeted and filled out paperwork. There was a question about my referral and insurance so the nice young lady called my PCP and got it straightened out. The nurse took me back in no time and was pleasant and professional. The doctor was very interested in my past skin cancer history. She looked from head to toe and found only some pre-cancerous spots on my hands, which she then froze. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Hill and his staff at "Hill Center For Dermatology" in Golden. I have a history of melanoma and, after recently finding a couple of suspicious spots on my arm, I was very anxious to get an expert opinion. My dermatologist of many years seemed to have lost interest in his proffession and his patients. My primary care physician highly recommended Dr. Hill. Upon entering is office I was immediately impressed with Dr. Hill's staff who are friendly, professional and very efficient. Dr. Hill is charming, unpretentious, congenial, and has an obvious sincere concern for his patients. He took ample time to talk with me, answer my questions and explain his suggestions for my personal situation. It didn't take long to see why he comes so highly recommended! I recently found moles on my body and wanted to make sure if those were okay. After searching for reviews, I made an appointment with MPA Candice at Hill Center. It was my first visit to see a dermatologist so I didn't know what to expect. Candice came to the room and tried to address everything I was concerned about and explained about skin cancer with pictures on the pamphlet. Then she thoroughly scanned my body and found a mole that I didn't know. I ended up getting rid of the mold that she found at the same room without one minute waiting and got a referral for the other mole. I met Dr. Hill and nurse Jennifer as well and they were nothing but helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Hill and PA Candice. I'm very satisfied with my visit!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Have been 2x for full body mole check and one mole removal on face. The staff is professional, prompt and accommodating. The PA's are fabulous and it is easy to get in without a long wait. Tried my local derm in Evergreen and they wanted us to wait over 2 weeks for appt for son who had a rash getting larger in his eye area. Not something I wanted to wait to get checked. read more
