Last time I ran into neighbors and old friends and we had a blast. The music was a great variety and controllable from your seat. I enjoyed playing the machines, shooting pool, amd getting to know several regulars, as well as a cool bartender named Gus. I had one occasion with an angry gent talking ugly about women probably due to his own doing of striking out with the ladies but another gent helped me out and warned me to steer clear of those types. He was a church goer and been a local all his life. My neighbor and I really enjoyed his convo about work, life and adventures along the way. It seems pretty chill if you steer clear of certain types. That is pretty much any hole in the wall. Very nice to see they have quite a bit of extra parking in the back. The selection is on the smaller side. But I am ok with this and they still have some good stuff and snacks for great prices.

Since my last review, they have added a large paved parking lot next-door, where it used to be just gravel. Inside they have one of the largest used book/media sections you'll ever see in any thrift store. The stuff that gets donated here is usually better than what you would find at Goodwill, which means you're more likely to come across unique and valuable finds. You'll also find every imaginable knickknack under the sun here for office home and hardware use. In the back room, there's bicycles, electronics, and furniture. The front of the store is given over, almost entirely to clothing and shoes. Still my favorite thrift store to come to in Fredericksburg.

Most of the clothing is for kids and infants. There's not too much in the way of men's clothing though. The price of jeans tend to vary between the $8 to $12 range. Shoes are a little more expensive. Merchandise: the merchandise was incredible,,, great quality and nice brands of clothing. They were all free of stains, rips and holes. continually humbled by volunteers who work so hard to make lives of rescue dogs and cats that much…read morebetter. the folks at CCPAL are amazing, and found us a Rat Terrier who we call Raffi. we ultimately might not be her fur-ever humans as she's still very reactive to my toddler, which is of course nobody's fault--some dogs are wired that way... not all toddlers are suitable for certain dogs, and vice versa. but hoo boy, what a change in 3 weeks: she went from being an acutely scared pupper to loving, listening, engaged four-legged. she's changed me in ways I never thought possible. please support CCPAL in any way you can: volunteer, donation, anything. they do such great work, and I'm forever in their debt.

All my questions were answered, and it was my first time adopting a dog so they had so many helpful tips and suggestions. The transport expectedly took a while considering the worlds craziness with corona virus, but the wait was more than worth it when I saw my Sasha come out of that truck. These people are great and truly care about their animals. I can't express how happy and grateful I am to have been given the opportunity to save this doggies life and give her the home she deserves!
