Adopted my first kitty from here. Love the team & how easy the adoption process has been with them. You can tell these are people who really care & love what they do. Best adoption experience ever!

I recently went to the Animal Defense League (ADL) with some Feral kitties and boy what a difference! I had one bad thing happen after another at ADL and their staff took Zero responsibility! I am so grateful that Roxanne at SNIPSA helped me get 4 feral kittens fixed in August of 2023 and ready for adoption to their forever homes. SNIPSA staff really cares about their customers and the animals they serve.

mouth infection gotten from them that's a life long disease

first off they borderline gave declawed my cat without our consent and she was supposed to just get a spay and routine vaccination now we're up in 1000+ vet fees trying to cure her from everything they did she was a prefect healthy cat before this and now she's sad depressed can't eat or drink it's been almost 5 days since the spay and she's just been worsening everyday she got mucus that smells pouring out her mouth and the animal hospital we went to let us know they cut her tongue horribly too when they were putting her under anesthesia it looks like and gave her a life long disease from said cut most likely from them being hygienic if you really care about your pet never bring them here their supposed to be helping animals and families and they just ruined a young cats life i don't know how these money hungry people sleep at night when we tried calling them to get answers we got blocked on social media and our phone number they don't really want to help you they just want to get their donations for their money scheme

My dog was neutered at this awesome facility at the end of October and we had an amazing experience. The facility is quaint and clean, the staff is super friendly, and this was way more affordable than going through our vet. Thank you SNIPSA for taking care of our Hudson!

SNiPSA is the best! We got our lovely Levi here a few months ago and he is the most precious jewel that we are so fortunate to have found. We met him through their fostering program which allows the animals to socialize and interact with people and other animals alike. You can tell that the people running this organization truly care for animals and their well being. They find animals from kill shelters and they bring them to SNIPSA and have saved their lives. I don't know where my husband and I would be without our Levi. If you are looking to adopt a pet, SNiPSA is the place to go.

This is the most fantastic organization. SNIPSA rescues abandoned animals and strays from being euthanized at animal control. Since they do not have a facility all their animals are being fostered with families in San Antonio. They vet the animals, vaccinate them, have them fixed and micro-chipped before they adopt them out. They work hand in hand with other local rescue groups and are pushing to have San Antonio "No-Kill" by 2012! Shannon Espy is the vet that treated my "Henry"....She was so moving that I ended up fostering a pup and after he is fixed tomorrow he will go to his forever home. I recommend SNIPSA to anyone looking to adopt a dog or cat. You can view their rescues on-line and fill out an application. After you fill out the application and a quick home visit, you can adopt. Dogs are $150-$200 and cats are $85...the rates are a steal considering how much it costs to vet your pet with shots and vaccinations. They are also looking for foster families and volunteers so check out their site for the next event.

If you are looking to spay your cat or dog, definitely give Spay Neuter Network a call!…read more My family and I had been wanting to spay our dog for some time, but the cost of it was something that was definitely keep us from actually doing it. Our veterinarian had originally quote us almost $1,000 just for the spay, which seemed a little over the top for such a common procedure. I went online and found Spay Neuter Network which is a nonprofit that provides affordable spay/neuter services for dogs and cats. Making the appointment online was super easy and I originally only had to pay $20 to secure my dog's appointment. On the day of the appointment my husband dropped him off at 7am and by 3:00pm he was ready to go home. At the end, we did end up paying about $100 more for some additional vaccinations that our dog needed prior to the procedure. It's been a week since the surgery and my dog is feeling great and we haven't had any issues. I am so happy to have found Spay Neuter Network and will definitely recommend to all my friends and family!

Next time i know not to come here. if im paying over 100 dollars i rather go to a nice clinic not this one . front desk is rude as well and dont even try and call because they will leave u on hold for hrs .

You must get a free ticket to go inside the church (it prevents overcrowding), which is the structure you associate with the Alamo. We got ours off the Alamo website ahead of time. You can pay for a tour or audio devices or just walk around on your own for free. We did the latter and found that whenever we had questions there were plenty of docents who could happily provide detailed answers. There is also, for a fee, a museum on site with many artifacts from that time period. Many items were donated by avid Alamo collectors including musician Phil Collins and David Zucker (director of Airplane! and Naked Gun). A new museum is being constructed as of the date of this review. A gift shop is on site too as well as many statues throughout the grounds honoring those involved in the battle. This is a "must visit" for anyone who comes to San Antonio, even more so if you love history.

Had a chance to walk around the old church mission and see all of the new things they are doing to make the Alamo and the area improve so it will be around for many years to come to preserve our young history of this country. It was odd to hear that Americans were call "Immigrants" when they were coming into the Mexican republic. Many a hero died that day at the Alamo, 200 AMERICANS gave their life for the Republic of Texas in it infancy. Gift store had plenty of options to pick from and the staff was very helpful throughout out our visit.

This place is hard to rate. They have a couple of outlets - one on S Probandt, and one on Walzam…read moreRd. Probandt is an old warehouse and the goods are presented in a commensurate fashion, making it kind of a dump to go to. BUT it is very large and they have a lot of items. The Walzam Rd location is smaller, more store-like and a lot cleaner. Selection is similar but my impression is of smaller quantities and more limited selection. They both carry a wide range of construction and household materials, whether reclaimed from remodels or demolitions, or closeouts, seconds and scratch-and-dent. They also have a lot of paints, much of which is "evolve", a brand that keeps excess project or returned paint from being senselessly dumped in landfills. Prices are better than the building materials stores, but you still need to know what a good price is, as some of the smaller household goods can be found for less elsewhere (mainly online). But bargains are to be found if you don't mind spending time browsing. I suggest coming prepared with a complete list of what you might need, so you come away with what you really want at a price that suits you. All of that said, remember that this is a thrift store for Habitat for Humanity, a very good organization that makes affordable housing available for low income people. So anything you buy supports a great cause. I would have rated this 3-stars, but the nature of what their main focus is caused me to make it 4-stars since the dollars you spend here contributes to helping people in need.
