Do not recommend. Ben started off doing good work for us, but as we continued to work with him on…read moreour project, he was consistently late or did not show up at all. Several times he would not respond to our text messages asking when he would be here, and we had no idea when he planned to show up day after day. We prepaid him for work that was not completed, and there were many broken promises over several weeks as to when he would be here to finish the work. We could not get a firm completion date from him. His subcontractors have contacted us for money as we are being told by them that they never got paid, however we did give this money to Ben who hired these folks. Very disappointing experience as we tried to be flexible with our schedule and work with him. In the end, we needed to let him go so we could get someone in to finish up the work for us.

They also used paint thinner to remove the glue which dulled the floor. Furthermore they would not take responsibility their actions. I had 4 experts look in person and they said they used way too much glue and you should never use paint thinner to remove the glue. I ended up having to pay someone to re-coat a brand new floor.

Once the fireplace was dismantled he found it was hollow (built wrong), had water and rot damage. His crews did an awesome job taking it down, sheet rocking it back up, fixing the rot, matching the stippled ceiling and laying new flooring.
