They make the best homemade salsa and soup in the surrounding area!! It's worth the drive and not too far out of the way. Forewarning, the salsa is on the sweeter side, per se, and I usually get 'medium' but they also have 'hot'. I've never had anything like it, it's sooo good. They have just about anything you'd want from a farmers market and my pictures don't really do it justice. And guess what, they're open 6 days a week!! The owner still makes her mouth-watering assortment of soups, but now-a-days instead of having them steaming hot in crock pots for patrons to scoop their desired amount, they are prepackaged and frozen for all to enjoy when it suits them. If this is what the future holds, I will order online and pickup at the store. There is also the obstacle course created by the endless stacks of pallets of merchandise sitting everywhere in the store. I guess the former cashiers aren't that good at stocking? Add to that, they are putting everything under lock and key. Sandpaper. Batteries. Back in Automotive and Building Supplies there is one guy working and many of the items are locked up. He has to sprint from one aisle to the next to unlock the doors and let you grab a five dollar pack of sandpaper. I know they have a problem with shoplifting but really?? Every time I walk in the door I find another reason not to go back. But the prices are cheaper. Yet, the people who work there are wonderful and I have nothing but praise for them.
