Attended a wedding here. This place was so unbelievably unprofessional for a wedding venue. You would think they would care about making the place look perfect for weddings. They don't. The bathrooms were filthy, had spider webs everywhere. The paint was chipping throughout the venue. Looked like they didn't bother to upkeep the yard work. No lights by the walking area at night (which is a huge safety hazard). We had seniors with walkers.... Fruit flies in the drinks. Oh....here's the biggest one.... The owner's wife is a nutcase AND SHE'S RUDE. We witnessed her drive a golf cart and back into a guest's truck and then continue to yell at them....it was completely her fault. Don't waste your money. Find a new wedding venue. read more

Guess who won't be rescheduling their stay... I just canceled our reservations for two rooms. They were for May, which in light of the current state of things in the vaca-world seems like plenty of notice. Though their policy does state they charge a fee for cancelations - no matter what. The rest of the industry also charges cancelation fees. Yet, they have all waived them due to the extraordinary circumstances the world is facing. The place is very nice to stay at. We've stayed before. Now though, I believe we have seen the true nature of things. It makes me sad to think we will not be rescheduling our stay. We made it clear that we'd be doing that as soon as the world settled into its new norm. read more

Disappointing! 2.5 if they had it, but the bad out weighed the good. For a property with so much potential we were let down. Poorly marked from the road, once your on the property some signage welcoming and directing you would be the norm. Not here. No social time in the evening which would be the norm at a quality inn including wine. We stay in almost nothing but B&B's and are very well versed in the experience. The staff was obviously following their direction, but we're not what is expected in a B&B. Very sweet and helpful when prompted. We had to serve our own coffee from a one cup dispenser. Not quality brewed coffee. One course meal with no pizzaz. Cold quiche and a microwaved sausage patty. What???? The staff needed prompting to serve drinks and were dressed in street clothes.. Shorts and tee shirts?? The shower was slow to heat and leaked green stuff down the wall. Valves squeaked from lack of maintenance. AC was not up to par and the pool was growing algae. Would just take some effort and thus place could be good. Just lacks too much for experienced Inn folk. Pass! read more

My partner and I stayed at the Willows for 4 nights in September 2014 and absolutely loved it. Everything was perfect. We stayed in the McCaskey room (large king bed, private balcony) and it was absolutely beautiful, extremely comfortable and very relaxing. The owners Sandy & Joe were very gracious and accommodating. We really enjoyed chatting with Sandy every morning during breakfast. And those breakfasts! Talk about gourmet. i can't say enough to convey how delicious and extravagant they were - egg souffle, quiche, eggs benedict, crepes. They were indeed a treat. I highly recommend The Willows. Our wedding at The Willows was perfect. We initially looked at The Willows in January and decided it was a great value based on the packages they offer. Our meeting was in April to decide the different options for our event and the ceremony in October. Joe did a great job cleaning up the grounds for our wedding and Sandy made sure family who chose to stay at the B&B were well taken care of. Yes, they have rules that help them manage their properly but we found none of them unreasonable. We decided to have our ceremony in the upper grassy area at the rear of the property and the reception under the tent they purchased this year which worked out great. The food served was a brunch meal and was excellent. read more

We held my daughter's wedding at The Willows a week ago. Because of the Virus our plans kept getting canceled and I got lucky that Joe had a cancellation for the date I needed. Joe helped me pull everything together in just 2 weeks. He's a wealth of knowledge and connections and did everything we needed to make it a perfect day. We attended a wedding here. It's a beautiful location and it was a great wedding but the owners who live there and run the place were a bit odd. They seemed to hover throughout the entire event and it felt as if you were being watched. Also, I was appalled to see the owner come out and help herself to a plate of food when the appetizers were being served. Totally rude and unprofessional. She was NOT a guest at the wedding. It is a beautiful bed and breakfast but unless you are staying there you aren't allowed in the house to use the restroom or anything. You are permitted to use the outside restrooms only. Strange. Beautiful location, but they don't seen very hospitable, which is not good for a hospitality business. My advice.....go elsewhere for your wedding. read more

We enjoyed the architecture and attention to detail in the decor. The yard and view are spectacular. However, the attention to service was lacking. The house keeper seemed to be going through the motions versus anticipating our needs. Example: lack of coffee, water or OJ with our semi warm quiche at breakfast. We were also surprised by no wine hour or opportunity to meet the other guests. We stayed two nights... No Wow factor for the money. read more

My sister got married at The Willows and it is a place I would recommend to everyone...either to stay for a relaxing weekend or get married there. The grounds are beautfiul and well kept. The night before the wedding we stayed in the Butler Suite. This was the first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and it will definitely be something I will do again! It was such a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was very good, and Sandi and Joe and such wonderful and thoughful hosts! I had visited this Bed and Breakfast on a business trip down to the Medford/Ashland Area. I came across it on Hotels.com and figured I would give it a try. It was a beautiful setting, gorgeous home and very gracious and hospitable innkeepers. Sandy made a phenomenal breakfast the next morning and gave great advice on where to go for last minute items. I enjoyed the serene grounds, the nice and cozy room overlooking the pool and the gardens. The grounds also offered a serene lake setting and a nice tennis court. Beautiful historic Rogue Valley Orchard Mansion. It is like going back in time as you dive up a long tree lined drive. A beautiful estate on five acres that house a Cooking School. We stayed in the McCaskey Room that had double french doors that opened up to a beautiful balcony that overlooked the valley. A wonderful place to take in a book and a cup of coffee or watch the night come over the valley with a good glass of red wine. The four poster king bed was inviting along with the fireplace on a cold night. The best part of waking up in the morning was the amazing aroma coming from downstairs where Chef Sandy was cooking an delicious breakfast. The breakfasts Sandy made were beautifully presented and delicious. My favorite was her quiche and I really enjoyed the fresh fruit that accompanied her dishes every morning. Joe and Sandy were wonderful hosts and gave us great recommendations on restaurants, a cheese shop, a chocolate shop, and which wineries to visit. My 15 yo daughter and I stayed here on the 4th of July, 2019...Amazing is all I can say. Such an amazingly quaint place. We stayed in Maggie's Attic and once we walked in the room, my daughter said she wasn't leaving the room until we checked out, it was that comfortable. I, on the other hand, couldn't wait to get out to the pond to watch the Koi fish...for hours I stayed. After a 5 1/2 hr drive from the Bay Area, it so magical to just sit there and unwind. We were getting on the road early so we were not going to be there for breakfast, so Sandy and Joe made sure I had a "to-go" bag with goodies, and coffee to go. The bonus was since we were up on a hill, we got to watch the big fireworks display without the crowds. Hoping to go back soon...Loved the place. read more

Just attended a wedding here and Sandy the owner is the rudest person! I was yelled at for taking wine with me to the bridal party. The photographer was yelled at dor taking pictures when dinner was suppose to be served. When the bride was already stressed she just had to add to it! She was SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I just had my wedding here and could not have asked for a better evening! Sandy and Joe know what they are doing and the grounds were immaculate! Their wedding package included an awesome DJ and cake designer! The rooms we stayed in were absolutely amazing and breakfast the morning after the wedding was delicious! Fresh fruit crepes with whip cream among other things! I would definitely recommend this as both a wedding venue and bed and breakfast. There is plenty of parking and the tree-lined drive way up to the house makes a pleasant first impression! Everyone I have spoken to had a great time thanks to the owners, their staff, and of course the beautiful location (which in my opinion is even more beautiful at night when the lights come on). read more

My husband and I have traveled the world and stayed in more lovely places than we can remember, and yet we love The Willows. We spent a perfect overnight there and were enchanted by the beautiful old house and the lovely grounds. We spent the night in the Bora Da room, with a comfy king bed and full bathroom. Sandy and Joe were great hosts, very hospitable and friendly, and Sandy cooked an amazing breakfast for us. This is a gem not be missed in southern Oregon! read more

My vacation at The Willows was amazing. A friend of mine was visiting from Los Angeles. I wanted her to have a wonderful experience while here in the Rogue Valley and she did! Sandy and Joe were very friendly, kind and treated us like royalty. I enjoyed sitting outside in the morning sipping my coffee. Later in the day after visiting a few vineyards, I would sample a purchase and enjoy a picnic by the pool. The food was amazing too. Sand is an excellent cook. I wish, I could have stayed longer to enjoy the tennis court and walk through out the gardens. My friend is use to the traffic and noise of LA. She felt so relaxed and taken care of at The WIllows. She will return with her family and share this special place with them. This is a historical home and the design is so lovely. I highly recommend The Willows. Happy travels! read more
