The parking lot isn't the best it's small and cramped, but the stores themselves are decent enough to carry the shopping center. Kohl's and Homegoods are the big names for department stores while Subway and Philly Pretzel Factory are the big names for fast food while McCaffrey's Food Market is the shopping centers grocery market. The rest of the strip mall is smaller businesses and eateries but they seem decent enough as well. There is a Wells Fargo Bank in the shopping center too but it is closed off from the rest of the shopping center and only accessed through another entrance from West Skippack Pike. It's a decent enough center and it will have the nessesities, if little else.

This is a newer shopping center, being built within the last few years or so. It has a nice range…read moreof stores and a good aesthetic to it, I do love the brick building theme it has going on. Aldi and Jersey Mike's are the highlights for me, and being on Skippack Pike and Route 202 it is bound to bring in traffic, as crowded as the area can get. There are many great stores here including one of the closest Arbys to where I live (sadly, there are none near Souderton), a Dollar Tree, Gamestop, Staples, Taco Bell, Starbucks, a few banks (Wells Fargo and Bank of America), TJ Maxx and a Greene Turtle to name a few of the biggest attractions. The parking lot can get confusing to navigate especially when busy and the light onto Germantown Pike can get backed up easily, but aside from those small details it is still a great shopping center!

When I was at Montco and I needed something, I would often come here because what doesn't the Metroplex have? Barnes and Noble, Lowes, Best Buy, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Dicks, Five Below, Old Navy, Ross, and Giant are some of the big names here, with many many other stores scattered throughout. If you need it, you're bound to find it in one of these stores. Black Friday could get a bit hectic, but the savings between all these stores and you're bound to get all your shopping done in one night! (As I often do). The first thing is, it is in a very convient location. Minutes from the exit off Interstate 476 and a few more for the exit off Interstate 276, for those who might live further like myself. There are a few entrances and exits to keep in mind. There is Chemical Road, which has a light and is the more crowded exit, and there is Gallagher Road on the side which also has a light and is less crowded. There are also three more exits onto Gallagher Road, without lights. Getting around isn't too bad, there are a few big roads going through the shopping center that branch off to get you to any store you need. If you want to get around all the bustle of the center of the shopping center, there is a road that goes around the back of most of the stores, linking exits onto Gallagher Road and Chemical Road, with entrances to various points of the Metroplex. All in all, Metroplex is amazing and one of my favorite shopping centers of all time. It is definitely an experience, one which in would reccomend to the highest degree if you love shopping.

THE STORE: This store is located in the sleepy Center Square Plaza strip mall. They're part of the TJX Company that includes TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeSense, Winners, and Sierra. Like others have told me, they sell similar items like sister company TJ Maxx - clothing, household goods, small furniture, toys, etc. The store was clean, pretty organized, with competitive pricing. It's a small footprint so perusing the store was easy. I personally wouldn't shop here as I don't like hunting for things, and I feel that their inventory is "temporary" - like once you find something you like, it won't be available in the future, the main reason why I don't patronize our local TJ Maxx back home. We were in need of a greeting card and was sure they' sell some but they didn't. OVERALL: To each his/her own!

At busy times, there are issues with parking due to lack of spaces, but the shopping center does have the legandary Charlie's Pizza (the main reason I come here might I add), a decent Panera and Sonic, LA Fitness and many other small shops. All in all, it's worth checking out (especially for Charlie's).

Whitpain Shopping Center is located on Route 202 in Blue Bell Pa. It's a stripmall with a cramped…read moreparking lot and no light to get out on Route 202 (beware of traffic hour) but the stores are decent and it has Pudges, which is right next to the lot where the original Pudges was from (it relocated next door to this one). I only ever go for Pudges, but the other stores seem decent as well.
