These guys been a problem with me from the start ... I always came with money ... the service there suck ... first: I thought you can just walk in and see who can get next on the chair, order of operation as I call. NOPE!!! They dont do walk-in .... only by appointment and I had to figure that out. I know he is running a business I no but not sociable to your customers making them feel unwelcome like I did something wrong. ( started to think they already prejudge me before I even open my mouth ) Next: it the guy with the glasses, guessing that's the owner, didn't even wanna to look nor talk to me also the Asia guy that work in the middle... I know I no, it his business they don't have the to talk to you So finally the last guy with the dreads he gave me a shot... I gave him my money and he been cutting for a short while, thinking like some how okay now they see me it's a familiar face .... NOT WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!: so 1 time I had paid him in advance so I can get in and out I didn't wanna wait and he did just that.... this time I gave him my money Tuesday I had something to do after work ... he couldn't see me .... so I had paid him and I was like: yo can u get me tomorrow around 4 and he said yeah and that was Tuesday so I ask the owner did he get in contact with him? Hill's Barbershop - FRESH FADE!!! - Barbers Near Me - Seattle, Washington

This is the best barber shop in Seattle hands down. I've been cutting my hair with the owner, Erik, for three years now and I never been disappointed. He pays great attention to detail, he is very skilled and super respectful. The other two barbers that work on the shop are also very good. They don't accept credit cards but they have an ATM machine inside the store which is super convenient. The Butler Street garage is super close to their shop which is also convenient, they charge $3/hour. If you make an appointment you'll be out in less than an hour. They usually have a lot of clients so I would recommend calling before hand and making an appointment, if you don't have an appointment they'll squeeze you in but you'll have to wait for a little since the appointments have a higher priority as expected. They charge $25 for a standard haircut which is the same price other barber shops in Seattle charge but here you'll get a super nice haircut. read more

One of the more annoying things about Seattle is finding a decent place to get your hair cut. I started coming to Erik 5 years ago, back when he worked at another shop nearby. Awesome barber with a professional yet laid-back kinda vibe. Went in to get a buzz cut, mostly just to keep the hair out of my eyes. Figured I'd pay 10 dollars, they'd do something rushed but alright, and I'd be out. Not so. The dude cutting my hair elevated a simple buzz cut to an art form. All the lines were cut with an almost laser-like precision, and it's honestly the best my hair has looked in years. I took a ferry from Victoria to Seattle and had almost 3 hours to kill downtown before I had to get to the train station that was about a 1.5 mile walk from the pier. I was just looking for a walk in spot for a touch up and saw about 5 convenient spots with good yelp reviews. I was able to walk to each of them along my route to the train station and they all looked like good spots in different ways. Each of the first four were either booked out the rest of the day or weren't able to accommodate my request to shave my head. I was happy that Hill's could fit me in on short notice. Low key, down to earth guys, good conversation, quality, efficient work. Nice little spot too. Good price, feels good to get worked on by good people. Devin Mitchell was my barber.
