I am a student and had to bear the whole repair cost of my car and so I asked for a discount. I got a good discount after talking to the owner but then they reduced it. I understand that repair estimate can never be final cost but still asked if I could get the initial discount just to test my luck in the day of picking up the car. A guy named Alex, I guess the son of the owner said '...we put your shit together here....there are parts, sales tax...so if you want your car today you have to pay xxxx...'. I picked up my car and left. I realized they are not '...that's the best we can do, man. sorry that you have to go through this...' type of people. Also they called me on a random day and gave me 2 days to pick up the car midweek or storage fee starts which felt like an ultimatum. I called the next day to request to withdraw the storage fee and the person picked said he can't because the owner is in vacation. Apparently the customers have to suffer because none else can take a decision while the owner is in vacation. This place is family-owned. I do appreciate the detailed inspection and overall repair, though. But they heavily lack basic people skills and organizational skills and trust me you want that.

In Sept 2021 we took for repair..we're told new estimate was too low and quoted 5415.49. We agreed. Next day Blocker called and said he had to cut the bolts to remove bed and it was in such bad condition that the price would be $7,567.00. We went there to look..Mr Blocker told us there was no way to get the bed back on truck and it was the worst rust he has ever seen. I was able to find someone that would do the job for $2500 and this person had another truck bed in excellent shape. I then called a towing company to strap the bed to the truck and haul it to the new repair guy. Mr Blocker stated, "Oh, I didn't know it could be strapped on" At that point, I asked him "How long have you been in this business?" He lunged at me in anger and the towing guy stepped in between us.
