I guess spray paint does fix a water leak. Or, maybe if you ignore an issue long enough the tenant will forget about it. The staff there was not always the most friendly, either. Almost condescending at times. Look, I am not one of the other residents who need special assistance with living arrangements. If you are a young single person looking for a reasonable place to live, move along. This is a group home and a geriatric ward. While legally they should not tell you this, it would have been nice to know. Now, the kids that live there are nice and fairly quiet. But, there was always that lingering thought in the back of my head that I would come home to a burned out shell of a building because one of them burned up a pizza in the oven...I guess that is part of apartment living. Part of me wants to throttle At Home Apartments for their lack of attention to maintenance and overall customer service. But, one of the individuals who I think was mostly responsible for the lack of service was let go...And, from the recent check out review received, I see he did not take good notes on our check-in back in April 2010. Just think twice before deciding the sign a lease with these folks. And from what I have been told by people who have lived in their other properties, Mission Hills was the nicest. I have written letters, talked to management, even contacted the main office in Calie, with no results. They are nice enough, but that has not kept my apartment from being 90 degrees inside daily. They cannot keep a mantaince crew. The building I live in looks like a wrecking ball came through. The washing machines and dryers are usually broke, and the tents have to call for repairs and get your money taken. Maybe I live on the wrong side of the complex. They say its under new management staff, but so far nothing has changed. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Plenty of studios covering BPU bills, as one of the cheapest options near campus if you want privacy; 4. My deposit was fully returned after staying for 3 yrs while I didn't try hard to maintain or clean the place, though I didn't have pets; 5. They are very strict about leasing and subleasing, which makes the tenants more reliable. Cons: 1. Out-dated facilities, especially considering the price; 2. Noisy fridge, A/C, lawn mower in the morning, and the sound of neighbors, which was acceptable to me; 3. Open parking lots getting crowded if arriving after 10pm, and scratches happen; 4.
