Big O Tires was where I initially had my diagnostic checked for my vehicle and they were trying to quote me an outrageous amount of money. Brad stepped in and was confident that he could get it much lower which he kept to his promise, there was one added service my O2 sensor that was not quoted in the initial quote but that's because I was only giving Brad all the information that Big O Tires gave to me and Brad went off of that and gave me a much lower quote. Even with the added service, Master AutoTech was approximately 1200 lower than Big O Tires. I will forever be a customer here. He broke it to me that the car required more repairs than it was worth, and that my current shop was not doing a good job at maintaining my car. Maybe he felt bad for me, maybe he wanted to make a show of good faith, but he didn't even charge me for the diagnostic in that instance. I ended up selling that car for scrap and eventually buying a new car. I brought the new car in for a pre-purchase inspection and WOW, Jessy and his team really showed their true colors on how thorough they are! They checked absolutely everything. They even checked the cabin air filter because he told me that a rodent had built a nest in it. They found things that other shops had missed. Is there such a thing as being too thorough? Jessy might be! But I'd rather have my auto shop be extremely thorough and triple check everything rather than be sloppy and miss things. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality is obvious, right down to how they require appointments for their shop. They want to make sure that every single car gets the attention it needs. I can't recommend Mike Palmer enough and even though I don't live in the neighborhood anymore, I will make the trek to come back here for my auto repairs and recommend them to all my friends. Feeling obligated to accept their job, but didn't. They said I needed a whole new radiator and thermostat. Worst-case scenario, already knowing what it could possibly need, but wanting a diagnostic from a shop to guarantee. As a single special needs parent, I have no time to work on my vehicle or get a sitter. I checked myself and found they didn't even clamp my hose to the radiator, as if they didn't even check it in the first place. Ran leak tests myself after fixing the issue and have zero leaks now. Saved myself a $900 job that I declined. Lost $100 from their "coolant leak diagnosis". I've gone here before and thought they were "trust worthy".

Last Thursday, this shop was supposed to perform a coolant flush on my car. Instead, they drained…read moreall of the coolant, failed to refill it, triggered a check engine light, disconnected my battery to clear the code, and sent me home without coolant in the engine. After we insisted they tow it back the next day, they still didn't repair it. They've had my car since Friday and refused to return it. They also told us that if we took it to the dealership, it would void the warranty. Good times. For the record, simply having a dealership inspect a vehicle does not void a warranty. Nathan and Abby, here's what I can't understand: if the cooling system was flushed twice like you claimed, how were there still metal shavings in the coolant when the vehicle arrived back on the tow truck? That doesn't add up. In my opinion, this shop has been dishonest from the beginning. They damaged my vehicle, refused to take accountability, and then acted like I was the one being unreasonable for expecting answers. It's now Wednesday. They've had my car since Friday. How long did they think it was acceptable to keep my vehicle while leaving me, a disabled person, without transportation? If everything was done properly, why were you so determined to keep me from taking my car to the dealership? Dealership technicians have the tools to review the vehicle's data and determine what happened. At this point, I just want my car repaired correctly and returned.
