I came in for a tire alignment for my 2016 Honda accord and ended up stuck at the location as they had ended up pulling out my tire rod, they couldn't get it back on, Raxx broke the news to me 20 minutes after they had closed and had to refund my money as they couldn't perform the alignment or put the tire rod back into place. It was recommended I get my car towed to a mechanic and no help or compensation was offered. Big shout out to the discount tire team for the great job! I am really impressed with this location of Discount Tire. I had a low tire warning on my truck yesterday. I drove in to get the air checked. While there the technician offered to check my low tire. He found a slow leak in the patch they put in last year. Because they have a policy to not patch a patch, they offered to replace the tire at no cost to me. Honesty, accountability, and service. I came in with several issues with my tires and completely expected to be told that it was all wear and tear, but they went through and were completely legit showing me what was covered and what was not. I've done a lot of business with this specific location over the years and just had a terrible experience. I ordered a tire last night for my spare and left the wheel with the old tire on there over night, at this location. They didn't have the tire I wanted in stock so it had to come in from another location. I woke up this morning and felt like it's not financially wise to drop that amount of money on a spare tire for a vehicle that I've only used the spare tire once on, in over 23 years. So I called them right when they opened and they said they would give me a full refund when I came in to pick up my old tire and wheel. When I showed up, the manager was out to meet me and told me he would be charging me 25% of the price of the tire for a restocking fee. Then he told me I'd be better off putting that money into a different tire so that I didn't lose out on all 25%. I said okay and went inside and purchased a different tire with a small amount of money refunded to me. I called another location to ask if it's standard process to charge the customer 25% for restocking fees and they told me no, the store pays that fee, not the customer. I called this location back and the manager told me I heard him wrong and that I'm just out of the money now. I'm not normally one to complain but this is wrong. I would feel guilty if I heard a similar story from this happening to someone else. I will not release the manager's name because I don't want to publicly shame him. were misled , lied to ,disrespected, and put in danger, after waiting for a flat repair for 1.5 hrs , which we were told it would be that long ,but after 1.5 hrs they said out of the two tires that had nail they couldn't fix the front due to the nail being in the sidewall , they said we needed to buy all new tires, cause they couldn't replace one because the tires were to worn( they had 40 k on a 65 k tire) the wear was at a 5 plenty of good tread, recommended repair is at a 4, I told him I was not buying new tires at this time, but rather in nov that , and I was fine with just the rear being fixed, he cut me off saying "I'll see ya when the trans goes out, your good to go"also I was concerned about the facts of the front nail in the sidewall, ,I drove off then I wanted to see the nail in the front.... the nail was well with in the top tread NOT the sidewall and get this they didn't do the warranty work on the rear either, even the ticket stated they did both front and rear warranty repair, They did not. So at this point they are closed and so is everywhere else, now I have to drive 15 miles on 2 damaged "under warranty" tires , that's the West Valley 5600 west stores way of doing it, after the repairs are completed I will most likely never do biz with Discount Tire, for sure NEVER IN THE WEST VALLEY LOCATION read more

I am absolutely locked on Discount Tire 100%. I will continue to purchase and have all my tire needs and services done at Discount Tire. Their service has always been great and always surpassed my expectations. I always replace my tires there and I truly recommend purchasing the certificate they have which is a tire warranty. It is so worth it. If your tire is ever damaged, they replace it with a brand new tire for free. There were a couple times where I had a nail in the tire and it damaged it and another time my tire was basically cut badly and Discount Tire replaced the tire both times with a new tire at no charge what so ever. Please consider this before you go to Discount Tire. I used to be a brand champion of Discount Tire; I would always recommend my friends to them. NOT ANYMORE I bought new tires from them and within 2 months while driving over 60 MPH on the freeway all 5 lug nuts fell off my front-left tire. By a miracle my truck fell onto my tire, and I was able to safely get over to the shoulder.For those of you with loved ones, think about how terribly wrong this could have gone for them. The tire could have shot out and hit an oncoming car. The car could have gone into a spin and rolled. Your loved ones would could have been seriously injured, like I could have seriously been injured. The tow truck driver who had over 20 years of mechanical expertise confirmed that this could only have occurred because Discount Tire did not properly tighten down the lug nuts. I was towed directly to the nearest Discount Tire. Because it was not the exact Discount Tire that I had the work done at, the manager on duty was only able to assist by passing my information to the manager at the West Valley, Utah. The manager has yet to reach out to me (It's been 4 days). All that the local manager did was submit an Insurance claim on my behalf. Doing a rough estimate the total damage that was done to my truck was about $5000. While this incident could have been disastrous ending in the loss of my life or the life of my wife, Discount Tire rejected the insurance claim. They based it on the fact that their policy is that they'll cover anything within 90 days or 3000 miles (whichever one comes first). I had gone 3054 miles. Yes, that is correct. Because of 54 miles Discount Tire refuses to cover the damages they caused. They won't even replace my tire!! So please, please for the love of yourself and your loved ones, think twice before you go to Discount Tire. When you really need them, they will not be there for you. They care more for your money than your life. I will be posting this to all Discount Tire locations, because I feel this issue stems from corporate. read more

This is our place of choice for tires and tire repairs. Normally I would give them 5 stars, but this experience was the worst. The staff was mostly great, but I had to wait THREE hours for a tire repair from a screw. The guy that took my information was very nice, and very personable, but FAILED to mention there was a 2+ hour wait. If they would've given me that expectation, I would've either gone somewhere else, or chosen to wait. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and that I was already an hour-and-a-half in, but I came too far at this point to leave. I get that it's Friday, I also get that they get busy, but this was absurd. I don't think I'll be going back, at least to this location.
