Went to big O tires and they wouldn't touch the car without paying them or give me a breakdown receipt of what they thought it could be, and refused to print it off to price compare. These amazing humans lifted the car up, walked me out and let me video exactly what was wrong, gave me honest advice in 10 minutes. Sent us on our way no charge. Several leaks detected but for some reason added expensive coolant/refrigerant (3x higher rate than Auto Zone) after leaks detected via dye. Added expensive refrigerant without permission/discussion. Added refrigerant that just leaked out within 24 hrs! Charged $500 to add refrigerant without discussion. On top of it all- it was the manager Zack who was overseeing the work. Overall, feel like Zack and Big O wanted my money over anything else and didn't communicate with me about the leaks before adding the refrigerant. I'm no better today than I was yesterday and $500 down. Big O can make this better by refunded me the cost of the refrigerant.

Due to a bad shoulder I have difficulty doing this task on my own. I went back to Pep Boys and since they had the same brand of blades on the side of the repair shop, they were willing to install them even though they weren't the actual parts store from years ago nor the place where I bought the new ones. The installation was free. Would go there again for the service.

I was told it would take 60-90 minutes when I made the appointment. My car sat in the lot for 2-hours before they began my job and then it took an additional 3-hrs to perform the service. I can only hope they performed the brake service correctly, but that may be wishful thinking if they can't manage simple appointment scheduling. - Mark K
