I had the appointment made with the dealer already but when I found Vu's on Yelp and called and got an estimated from Vu's (after taking it to them in person) I immediately called the dealer back and canceled!!! So glad I found Vu's Automotive! I will definitely be using them in the future for my wife's Beetle! Vu's specializes in these types of cars (foreign) and he was very knowledgeable about them! Nonetheless upon further inspection the tire was remounted backwards with the inner wall reversed ( tire is labeled in printed in the rubber) which caused humming, vibration and separation in the tread. Further discovered one of my vacuum hoses to the 4x4 transfer modular was sliced with a razor blade which rendered the 4x4 system inoperable and over tightened a hub beauty cap which cracked the plastic. Needless to say my first and last impression: " A crooked operation " , stay away or potentially get fleeced and shoddy service. Go to Goodyear they do much better work and don't sabotage your vehicle. The good: the front desk service staff are very polished and smooth, and have a broad knowledge of repairs and costs. This is a clown show in the shop. Had all the problems rectified by a local Reputable Toyota dealership which brought this to my attention.
