I used to work at Hilltop food was good then and it's still good now! The pretzel itself is amazing with really good flavor and cheese is a good side to. It would definitely recommend as an appetizer. The wings with any flavor are a great appetizer or main dish as well. Really good crunch on the skin and very juicy for a bar Philly cheesesteak had a little bit less flavor than I was anticipating still really good though fries were cooked through and had a good crunch to them as well. As far as service goes they've never lacked it. It's a sports bar winning on a Friday night for it to go extremely friendly and staff is great as far as the bar it was full very clean on the inside very warm and inviting definitely recommend this place. read more

This is my favorite sports bar. In fact, it's the only one I go to. GREAT people!! And everywhere you look are tv's so you won't miss your game. Great service, good food, although personally, I would love some pizza. There's a pizza place close by, but you can't bring food in. I love this place! It's packed with tons of tvs and good food. Watching sports here in Parker is unparallel to anywhere else. The staff are great and fast. The good is great and the drinks especially special drinks are delicious. The best part is so many beers on tap. I really used to love this place. Food was always fast. Servers were always friendly. Tonight they totally missed the mark ordered simple food, wings salad and a grilled chicken breast. 45 minutes later we still haven't been served. It was around 9 o'clock and we were the only ones apparently eating since I seen no other food come out the whole time we were there. I told the server just to give us our food to go. We didn't have any more time to waste. She was very snotty about that and made zero effort to remedy the situation. Manager walking around in a daze. I've been coming here once or twice a month for the last year and a half. Needless to say, I'm done. When I got home, my chef salad wouldn't have passed for a house side salad. Having been here two times with two wildly different experiences, I leave with Hilltop Tap House being average. The ambiance here is that of your typical sports bar, and the food and drinks match that aesthetic as well. Our first visit it was moderately busy and while we were found a table quickly the service was non-existent. We finally flagged down a server and ordered some drinks which took forever to actually come to the table. The odd thing was that there was a gentleman walking around who clearly worked there as a manager or something, who was adjusting the window shades, observing wait staff, and greeting customers, but did nothing to address any customers. It was clear that everyone was waiting but he just kept doing laps around the bar occasionally slightly lowering or raising a window shade. The food however was much better than we expected it to be and very reasonably priced (they also have a happy hour menu to make if really cost effective) Our second trip was much better. It was slightly less busy, but the service was 100 times better. Also we found that their kitchen serves until 12:00AM on weekdays, and 1:00AM on weekends! In a town that has very limited options for food after 8:30PM that isn't fast food this is a huge deal! TL:DR - Hit or miss service, good food, Kitchen is open late! read more

Great food and service. Got my check and paid on the touchpad without looking at receipt. Afterward I got a copy and found my happy hour $7 apps were charged $10+ for one and 11+ for the other identical item. 16oz beers and 22oz beers were both $7 each when happy hr was $1 off each. Asked the manager about the discrepancies and he basically gaslit me. He acted like everything was just fine and I was out of my mind for not understanding. Very dismissive and did nothing to help me understand the disconnect. We loved this place and always looked forward to going, but we will never set foot in again. Bottom line - always check your detailed bill before signing anything. Hilltop can not be trusted and won't make it right if you call them out. read more

This unassuming little gem in Parker offers some of the best food in Parker. Service is always good. Friendly, efficient staff. I recently came for breakfast and had the Chicken fried steak skillet. I was a little Leary because good white gravy is hard to find...but the they nailed it. I lived in Houston for a while, where I developed my addiction , taste for Chicken Fried Steak and Gravy/biscuits and gravy. On the hunt ever since. The experience started out swell; however, upon ordering a drink and a meal, I kindly asked the waitress if it was possible to change a channel on a TV to watch an Avalanche game. Upon this request, the head manager came over and ranted for a proclaimed 5 minutes how it was our fault for poorly choosing our seats when the place has 70 Tv's. The part that is astonishing is that HE was the one to sit us down because the place was busy during college football moments before. A simple answer or no would've sufficed, however he made it evenly clear he would not uphold customer service expectations considering I was already a paying customer. I was embarrassed and felt belittle. This is incredibly disappointing considering I've been here before. The manager was an older gentleman in his 60's presumably. The waitress came over to apologize, but it was not her obligation to do so considering it was her boss that set a foul mood and a poor example. read more

Service is pretty nonexistent, there seems to be some disgruntled employees having conflict with the older man who I'd assume is managing the place, poorly I might add. The food is bar food, not a place I'd go to eat. On a semi busy night the bartender was slammed while we were sitting at the bar. There were SO many employees just standing around ,in the way and making demands of her. One employee was standing around behind the bar for what I'd assume doing inventory. Bad timing and common sense would dictate to abort mission for now until the crowd simmers down and HELP the bartender! We come here often, 3-4 times a month. Food is above average for a Sports Bar and lots of TVs to enjoy all of the games. Their burgers are great and they also have a nice brunch selection. All of the servers are very friendly and attentive! The only reason I cannot give a 5 rating is because most of their servers don't write anything down. They memorize your order and sometimes things are missed/forgotten. I have a family of 7, so our orders are large and I'm bummed out when I have to remind them of something that they just should have written down. It's a small thing, but it irks me every time. There is absolutely no shame in writing down a large food order to make sure the customers get what they ordered. read more
