Clean. Love the desk staff. Everything was easy to get in and out of the room. There's a lobby section that has a good amount of area to lounge and order a drink and a meal. The pool and pool lounge area is nicely laid out and a good hang out spot. This location is located right behind the Boardwalk and there are lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance; a lot of the places close early, like 9:30pm. The hotel stays open pretty late for food and drinks. The hotel has very cute decor and easy parking. My family and I have no complaints regarding our stay at this location. I reccommend. read more

Honestly, the hotel was nice but the customer service wasn't up to par. I called the front desk multiple times because no one EVER answered the phone. I was trying to get a shuttle to and from the spa. The next day, it was chilly out, so I walked inside and asked if it was possible for someone to turn on the outdoor fireplace. I was told yes, however, that never happened. One night stay was $317. One night. For a room costing that much, phones should be answered and if the fireplace couldn't be turned on, then just say so. I wouldn't have stayed outside so long waiting/expecting someone to do it. I usually stay at nice Hilton or Marriott properties, and this by far had the worst customer service. read more

Surrounded by a business complex in a booming part of Dallas' sprawling suburbia, this hotel offered a pleasant and convenient stay. I found the parking situation confusing, as advance research suggested it would be paid, but in fact both the garage and the outdoor lot were open for anyone to use, which is fine by me. Covered parking is notably important in an area prone to hailstorms. My room was simple but well kept. Temperature control was excellent. The conference space and immediate outdoor surroundings were quite pleasant, and the interior of the hotel displayed plenty of art. I didn't see a ton worth pursuing in the food department and they kept sending me texts to ask how I was doing, which was a tad annoying. When I stupidly checked out without bringing my ipad, they quickly let me back into my room to get it. Overall, a smooth experience with no big complaints. read more

The staff here was mixed. The front desk ppl were very nice, friendly, and helpful--five stars. The cleaning staff repeatedly did not greet us until we greeted them--four stars. The ambiance of the property is very nice. Comfortable places to sit. Nice fountains and other exterior landscaping. The only issue is that, seeming as in many recent properties to save power?, the hallways and guest rooms are a little dark even with all the lights turned on. The room was spacious and clean. The most important item is always the mattress--it was ok to good. It was NOT worn with body impressions and was an adequate firmness and did NOT cause back issues.--five stars. Was very nice that not only was the standard safe and fridge were include but also a microwave for leftovers or fast meals from the pantry. Although the property has meeting rooms for conferences, a business center, and other business type amenities, two items make it an inferior business friendly property. The setup of the desk in the room was not ergonomically suitable for doing work. The lifting is poor with only a florescent desk lamp at inadequate height. The plugs are situated in a gap between the desk top and a shelf that makes plugging in a surge protector/power strip difficult to impossible depending on ur plug orientation. And most seriously, none of the six USB ports (2 by desk and 2 sets of 2 each by night stands/tables) in our room were functional. They were all very lose and seemed to have been abused. Only by the by stand could run temporarily if u jiggled it. The hours and good selection at the property restaurants were good. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance, but it is TX so u will have to fight the weather unless it is May or October--take an Uber or Lift, especially if dressed for work! The fitness center is 24 hrs and has all the typical amenities of a property if this quality: free weights, weight machines, elliptical, treadmill, rowing, bikes. The pool is outdoor and the hot tub/sauna was under repair during our visit. There is outdoor parking and a covered multilevel structure. The go down maybe after 9:00 PM and up maybe at 6:00 AM. They r controlled by ur room key. Parking is charged automatically to ur room. We would recommend staying here and would come back for business. However, we would recommend bringing a surge protector with a straight plug and it's own USB ports to be sure u can charge all ur devices. Tips: (1) never trust hotel USB and electrical plugs, always bring a surge protector with its own YSB ports or u may fry ur equipment or have nonfunctional ports. (2) this is TX, always use the covered parking! Any items left in ur car will bake (including cell phones and computers) during hot months (take these to ur room and back every time) and hail may damage ur car during rainy months. (3) tip cleaning crew AT LEAST $1 per night per person. read more

A beautiful hotel with a large bar and spacious, festive lobby (with plenty of seating) upon entry. I love the location of this hotel as well; it's within walking distance of a variety of restaurants across the scenic boardwalk in Granite Park. We booked two rooms: one king corner suite for us and a standard king room for our 3 kids. The king corner suite was great! Large space with a short hallway leading to the room-- double doored bathroom (shower only), large corner windows and a sofa; oh, and a refrigerator and microwave. There's a Starbucks and a comfortable dining area in Carso's, the hotel's restaurant downstairs for breakfast and dinner. We had breakfast there in the morning and everything we ordered was delicious: kid's pancakes with bacon and sausage, avocado toast topped with salmon, chorizo tacos, TexMex skillet and a cup of fruit. I highly recommend the avocado toast and my 2 & 3 year olds could have definitely shared 1 order of pancakes from the kids menu. Due to a staffing shortage, there was no room service during our stay, so that was unfortunate, especially since the option for room service was on their website when we booked and on flyers inside of the rooms. They did, however, bring up the bottle of champagne that my husband ordered for our 5 year wedding anniversary. Overall, we had a very nice stay. read more

The hotel staff was courteous and complimentary, the overall experience itself was very amazing, the pool was open as well as the hot tub. However the pool was only used due to it being 107 and no need to utilize the hot tub. The bar is inviting and Bartender Kinnard was on top of his game while maintaining the bar and the pool ensuring that everyone had drinks and were comfortable. The rooms are very spacious, there is an area behind the Hilton that has a Pond that is surrounded with multiple restaurants as well. The area itself seems inviting and for those who need coffee in the morning and don't want the hotel coffee there is a Starbucks present so that is a huge plus. Overall this hotel will be a favorite to stay at for many years to come. read more

Look, I'm usually a Marriott girl-mostly because it pays to be loyal, and that happened to be the brand that had the most properties in locations where I was traveling. But my most recent trip to Plano required me to break my loyalty and stay here. And it was hard to complain. This hotel definitely caters to the higher end crowd. I didn't see any children or families-I'd venture to guess that due to it's proximity to the Granite Park offices that most of the travelers here are on business. This was the case for me, too, so I didn't feel out of place. It has all the amenities you'd expect from a nice hotel-a bar and restaurant onsite, paid parking, grandiose lobby, etc. I didn't have any special needs or concerns, so my interaction with staff was limited. Although when I did talk to anyone, they were pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and clean-the bed was very comfortable. I did notice that the volume on the TV, even when maxed out, was still very low. Hardly worth complaining about, but something worth noting if watching your favorite news station at bedtime is important to you. Overall, this is a nice hotel and one that I would consider visiting again when in the area. read more

Stayed here for a work event. My time in the hotel was limited as the meeting was offsite, however I was pleased with my stay and would return . Here's what stood out: Pros: - friendly staff- at check in and while catering/serving our evening mixer. At one point, I asked the front desk for hairspray bc I forgot mine, and they pulled it out of their little market and handed it over for free! - nice modern room decor, liked the brightly lit bathroom and vanity mirror - very spacious, clean room, comfortable bed - downstairs bar staff was friendly and attentive - they do text you to see how your stay is. Some say it was too much but I thought it was a nice touch! - rooms felt solid- didn't hear surrounding noises or slamming doors. I'll be back! read more

Allowed for late check out (1pm!) which was great. Bed and pillow were comfy. I realized the light my our stay that the comforter was only between 2 sheets which would always come undone - which is bothersome since I don't think hotels wash the comforters regularly. read more

Got snotty with me when i asked for ETA and if maintenance is onsite. Waiting approximately 30 minutes in hallway until after 1am for maintenance to fix lock so i can get in my room. Had the worst experience here, fridge broke 3 times and even on the first day they didn't check to see if there was blocks of ice there, ended up breaking on the third time and my filet steak spoiled, just my luck, like I like random people coming into my room (SIKE) after paying so much. They offered a complimentary food but after seeing spiders in the room I would not want to try their food. Their manager Sean was a spider expert who lacked leaderships skills, he laughed at my situation and didn't even want to give me a day for free, I had to fight for it and I originally asked for two days but he immediately declined and said "spiders don't stick together, you should be good". Terrible experience here, please be cautious if allergic to spiders, or if you need a fridge for your food because most of them won't work. read more

During my stay there was no valet or room service. For breakfast in the morning, right now it's cheaper to do the buffet if you have a lot of kids. Buffet would have cost me $11 per child and I spent double that going to the Starbucks type place. I didn't notice the buffet until after I had ordered . The hotel is understaffed and the pool is smaller than what I would expect. The employees work hard and are friendly. I will stay here again!! I definitely recommend this hotel! read more

Well appointed and handsomely decorated, the Hilton Granite Park is tucked in the southwest east corner of 121 Sam Rayburn/Dallas North Tollway in Plano at the Frisco line. Large enough to handle events, but small enough to feel comfortable, I have visited for meetings and events on several occasions. This review is after my second stay. Rooms: Enough room for 2-3 people to store luggage and move around. A fridge and microwave with stand desk, TV, etc. I like the extra space to set a piece of luggage on which is in addition to the valet stand. The toilet, sink and shower are sectioned off with a sliding door giving a nice size space for grooming. Service: Everyone was willing to help. When we forgot an important item, we received a call to recover it. Nice! Pool: Pretty simple pool area that was surprisingly relaxing given that it is positioned in front of the hotel. Jacuzzi is also in the pool area. Parking: Would like a way to get from the parking area to the hotel without going outside. Must have been a flaw on the part of the designers as this shouldn't occur with a suburban placed hotel. I am also tired of hotels charging for parking. I am rating this location as high, but when patrons use your facility, they really shouldn't be charged for parking there. I do recommend this location. read more

I've been "stuck" here at the Hilton due to the winter storm. There is honestly no better place to be stuck. These guys have been amazing. It's a tough spot to be in, weary travelers that can't get out, employees who can't get in, it is bound to cause frustration and confusion. This team was exceptionally prepared for the storm. They had employees staying on property so that they could rotate and accommodate the demand. Things got a little crazy and frenzied, but this team took it in stride and stepped up. Every employee I encountered was so kind and professional and accommodating. Conrad Hilton wrote the book on hospitality as a business, and these guys are amazing ambassadors for the brand. read more

The lobby is very modern a friendly with areas to sit and relax, a nice bar area and some nooks when you can work. The staff was very friendly. My room was very spacious and nice (what I have come to expect from Hilton). It is very short walk from a number of nice restaurants. The downside is that they charge for parking. I have stayed at a number of Hiltons all over the US and this is the only one that I have come across that charges for parking. I can understand charging people that are not guests (folks going to the restaurants nearby but guests really??!?!). Granite Park Hilton you could have had 5 stars but you lose a star for your parking situation. read more

I've attended a couple of conferences here, so this review focuses on conference rooms and other aspects of the hotel, not an actual stay in one of their rooms. But I've heard the rooms are nice! This is a very nice hotel, as you'd expect from a Hilton in a swanky area like this. The development around the hotel is in full swing. There are new large buildings and cranes very nearby, as well as new restaurants nearing completion. There are existing restaurants walking distance, too, literally across the street: Blue Mesa, Blue Fish, Pancake House, Campisi's, Jersey Mike's, and (*drooling*) Tiff's Treats. New restaurants are going in right next door to Blue Mesa, and it's a cool area. They're calling it The Boardwalk. Walking around outside is really pleasant. There are walkways with water features and bridges over the water. The waterways are shared with neighboring businesses, the closest of which is a large office building right next door. It was a great area to make a few loops during breaks during the day. The hotel itself feels sleek, modern, and upscale as soon as you walk in. There's a classy cool bar right next to the lobby, as well as a seating / lounge area with an ultra-modern fireplace. The bar has excellent whiskey selection, which is all I was really checking out. :) There are original art pieces here and there as you peruse the halls, some of which are really good. I also enjoyed the lighting decorations, for lack of a better description - lots of neat glass and plastic hangings around ceiling lights (not sure if I'd call them chandeliers or not). There are a lot of meeting / conference rooms, both larger and smaller. The biggest is a ball room, which can be partitioned into smaller rooms, and it has a very high ceiling with large projector screens. We had a few hundred people in there and it was a good conference site. Cons: - The parking garage sucks. It's VERY narrow for being two-way, especially in Texas where people have large trucks. Things got tricky and very tight a few times. Not enjoyable. Valet is available, of course (which I did not use). - The hotel is very wasteful. It took me forever to find a recycle bin, and there were none in the conference rooms or even neat the conference rooms. When I found one, it wasn't well marked, which meant people probably just throw trash in there. There were also disposable plastic cups in FRONT of nice glasses next to our water dispensers. Why? Why not just have the glasses? Since the disposables were up front, most people used them. Such unnecessary waste. A lot of modern hotels do a much better job at being earth friendly. I realize a lot of people don't give a damn about this, but that was the one big thing that rubbed me the wrong way about this hotel. The trash cans in our conference room were almost exclusively full of soda cans and those stupid disposable plastic cups. Utterly needless waste. read more

This is one of the prettiest Hilton we have stayed. It's updated modern looks are welcoming and the staff very friendly. My wife and I were relocated to this hotel from the NYLO hotel which was sold out and we were happy about the move. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We ordered room service (seas scallops and scrambled eggs) which was delivered on time and was really tasty. We had a good view of the fountains and toll road from our 7th floor room. $14 a day for parking is thievery! No one cared when I challenged the undisclosed fee. Called customer service. No call back. I assume their arrogance is based on the Toyota headquarters recently opened around the corner. The paid parking is in a parking deck some distance from the lobby. Last year we stayed at one of their other brands across the Tollway & had a great experience. Not here. Not again. After a less than successful attempt picking up some dinner, we decided to order in (not room service). Be aware this joint does not "allow" delivery drivers to come up to your room. It is a little passive-aggressive move to inconvenience their guests who choose to order from somewhere other than their over-priced room service. Isaiah explained this is "company policy." He continually smirked and was dismissive when I tried to confront the situation. He would "apologize," but with a smirk. Please know the staff here is well-trained to deflect any issue & offer no substantive solution. read more

If you're going to Plano, TX & are close to this Hilton then I'd say stay here & don't think twice! This hotel is absolutely beautiful. From the minute of walking into the lobby, I was so impressed. The whole area was brightly lit & super clean with ample seating ... and the best part, there was even a full bar! I was welcomed by someone at the front desk; the check-in process was vey quick and I was headed up to my room in no time at all. Of course after seeing the lobby I had high expectations for the actual room, and it did not disappoint! The entire room, including the bathroom was absolutely spotless. The room I was staying in had two queen size beds & also a desk with an office chair. They had the basic amenities including an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer, but also a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge! Honestly though, my favorite part was that there were electrical outlets on both sides of the bed, a small table in the middle & a small shelf on each side. I didn't need all of them since I was the only one staying there, however I appreciated how convenient it would be if there are multiple people in a room! Similar to the check-in process, the check-out process was also super quick. This was actually one hotel that I was really disappointed in having to leave. Geez, where to begin. The Hilton Granite Park is what all hotels should be: Amazingly clean, new, sleek, in a great location, with excellent customer service from the employees. The rooms are ginormous (I know, not a real word), perfectly clean, and loaded up with a mini fridge, microwave, large flat screen HD tv, and a cool shower / bath. The property is in a top notch location, within a Nolan Ryan stones throw from the Stonebriar Mall, and all of the new, hip restaurants and bars that are endlessly popping up in Plano and Frisco. Spacious property with a plethora of conference rooms, a stellar outdoor patio, with a fire pit large enough for 3-4 separate groups, and a modern pool, and hot tub. FYI- Valet is an option, or you can park in the garage for a mere sawbuck. Free parking lot parking for Diamond & Gold class Hilton members. Top notch, full service Hilton. I will return. read more

First off l would like to Thank Helina and Hilton Staff for the invitation. My wife hardly gets to get out do to illnesses. This was a perfect evening for that and the patio was excellent. The map and directions were great, except l missed the turn in twice. After parking and getting to the venue. The check in was fast and perfect. We walked around the Hilton till more people arrived. The staff we spoke to that was not directly involved with the event, were very helpful friendly and polite. The finger foods and breads were perfect, I enjoy tasting other ethics of food the Chicken Tika Masala. The Chicken and Basmati Rice was unbelievable, i had to have a second taste. The wines were perfect, we were able to taste some we haven't tasted before. Bartender for the event very friendly and also the gentleman at the inside bar was helpful. The band Memory Trip played to night was perfect for the evening. Easy listening music to enjoy by the fireplace with a glass of wine. The desserts were very delicious. I enjoyed the Chocolate Mousse and the brownie that was brought out at the end. My wife enjoyed the key lime dessert. We left a few minutes early to walk around the stone walkway and water fountain area, the place is very beautiful. We met a few new members and were enjoying the evening conversation while we ate together. My wife and I talked about maybe coming out and having a weekend stay at the Hilton. This hotel wants you to believe they are COVID-19 safe and it is far from it. You can not take the stairs to your hotel room they force you to take the elevator. Speaking of the elevator there is no hand sanitizer anywhere ( before or after you ride). One of the three lifts are down so people pack in like sardines. This is an absolute bullshit. Proves they care more about money than anything. I'm not a mask nazi like some people but whats the point when it's not enforced and bartenders wear them in their throat? I was a Hilton girl before anyone knew of that other, less classy Hilton girl (Paris). I have stayed in Hilton's from London to LA, from Paris to Osaka. After a recent stay, the Hilton Granite Park made my short list of favorite Hilton properties. Maybe it was the the über-chic lobby with towering fireplace and cozy banquettes. Maybe it was the super friendly staff or the squeaky clean, new appearance. Or maybe it was the beautiful room with the ultra modern bathroom and over large shower. Whatever it was, I'd definitely stay at Hilton Granite Park the next time I'm in Dallas. The only NEGATIVE? The pastries in the cafe bakery were stale - disappointing when you spend $11.00 in Red Velvet and brownies for chocolate hungry, travel weary teens. read more
