Brian was so nice, said he would squeeze us in and he was able to, they figured out what was wrong, order the part and fixed it, while we walked around,saw a movie and walked back. My car was butchered and is in worse condition than when I sent my car in for electrical repairs. The headlights were installed crooked, the headlights have no cover, the turn signal inside the car does not work, the gas gauge does not work, the choke does not work. The screw that attaches the convertible top was taken out and was never put back in. Very disappointed, no communication, I will not be using Auto Tech again and will not recommend them after what they did to my car. I now have to pay to get fixed what they did not do. I was told many times that my car would be in great condition to drive, that was a lie. Everything is documented and photographed to show poor repairs. What I thought was going to be a smooth repair turned into a nightmare for 10 weeks. read more

had a tire plugged and all four tires rotated, after receiving the vehicle back that Friday evening I noticed one of my Lugnuts was missing. After calling the business they stated that this lug nut was already missing and since I did not mention it to them they were not responsible for it. I did not mention it because it was not missing, I am not a liar or a thief so I will tell someone if there was something wrong with my vehicle prior to giving it to them. So seeing as how they don't want to take responsibility for a single lug nut I will never do business with them again. . read more

I took my car to be repaired due to good reviews from my colleagues, but I had an opposite experience. I took my car on 12/3/2020 because I had been told a specific part needed replaced. They took my car over night because they wanted to "make sure" that's what was actually wrong. When I called the next morning they said they hadn't looked at it, then when I called back a few hours later they still hadn't started. I then called at 1:30ish and suddenly my car was ready, I hadn't been told what was being replaced, what they had found out, or what the cost would be. My check engine light went off but the next morning it was back on and it was having the same issues. I took it back to them 12/17/2020 for them to take another look at my car and left it over night. I called them back at 4, the same day per their request, and they told me to call back in the morning as they haven't looked at it. I called back at 9:30 the morning on the 18th and they told me they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car. I went to pick it up and while the owner of the business was looking for my keys one of the mechanics admitted that my keys were still in my car because he hadn't looked at it or "ran it". When the owner was pulling around my car my mom and I got into a conversation with the mechanic who was supposed to work on my car and he said he had worked for Ford for 20ish years but he never got the chance to work on/look at my car. I did end up getting into an altercation with the owner because they had my car for 19ish hours and he claimed he couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car unless I took him to the gas station with me to see the problem, which doesn't really make much sense seeing how I explained the problem multiple times. I did make a comment about Trump not winning as I walked out and the owner ended up opening the door after I left and said something to my mother and I that alluded to him calling me "R*t*rdrd" which is not a slur that needs to be used so loosely especially by a business. My mom was also sitting in the parking lot on a work call and the owner came out to move a car and was inaudibly yelling things at her. This is all around simply unprofessional and unacceptable, especially for a business owner to treat someone this way. read more

Ran into a bad battery while vacationing in Hilton Head, SC. We weren't sure if it was the battery, alternator or computer. This shop was recommended. I was in a bit of a jam because we were leaving for home the next day. I described the problem to Chris & Bryant and they got right on it. This is a trustworthy well run shop. It turned out to be just a battery, but they made sure it was just the battery. Chris & Bryant are good honest people even if they root for Michigan State. Do not recommend. This shop is absolutely unsafe, unknowledgeable and rude. Yelling at customers and calling them r*tarded after not only not fixing the cars issue but not even looking at the car after three calls to check if they did. Also potentially did not fix the problem to begin with. Will not be back...but not surprising since you can't expect kindness and professionalism from heavy trump supporters. read more

I made an appointment to get my car's air conditioning charge. I asked the range of cost for the service. The attendant said that they didn't do that because depending on what the problem was that caused the issue they would have to do something else. I reiterated again the lowest possible cost through the highest possible cost; certainly they have been doing this a long time and would know the cost range of "charging a car for air conditioning." The attendant later gave my call to a mechanic who faced with the same question said that it would be difficult to give a price. He said that it was like getting surgery on an arm and that the cost would be difficult to establish if there were other problems. He messed with the wrong person: I told him that I was in the medical field and that every procedure known to mankind done on a human body has a procedural code and cost associated with it. He kept insisting not, I then said to cancel my appointment that I would not be doing business with someone who wouldn't give me a price range. They thought I had hung up, but I continued on the line and heard them insulting me and that is how customers are trying to rip us off. Really? Go take a hike where the sun don't shine. read more

Absolutely disgraceful! The way the owner of this business spoke to a customer when she asked for a refund due to being charged for work that was not done is disturbing and unacceptable. When she presented the paid receipt for the repairs they "claimed" to have done 2 weeks ago and the actual bad part that was removed and replaced today by another mechanic who verified that the part he removed was the original, he immediately became defensive, aggressive and started shouting profanities at her. Even if you think you're saving money, it's not worth it. read more
