I drove to another repair shop and I also needed rotors,they asked if I wanted to see how they were working out worn. Auto Repair would have slapped a pair of pads on the worn down rotors, so I am grateful that they refused to work on my car. And when they grow up I hope they develop a sense of humor. Also the waiting area has 3 metal high stools to sit on and every time they go back and forth ( which they do a lot) a deafening bell chimes which is very irritating when you have to sit on those hard, cold stools for an hour.

This business is now called United Towing & Auto Repair…read more United Towing & Auto Repair put a BAD AFTERMARKET FUEL PUMP in my 2017 Mazda CX5. When I towed my car to United on 5/26/26, United (John) told me a Genuine Mazda Fuel Pump WAS NOT AVAILABLE and I had to get an Aftermarket part. I paid $1109.67 for this Aftermarket part which failed in less than 30 days and I only drive my car 1-2 times per week. On 6/23/26, my car was dangerously stalling out on 278 & Burnt Church Rd and making a loud sound (not drivable). I thought I was going to get killed. Beachside Auto was right there, so I pulled in. Beachside diagnosed the issue right away as the faulty aftermarket fuel pump. They said this is a very sensitive part and genuine parts should be used on Mazda's for compatibility reasons. I guess United didn't know this? Beachside ordered a Genuine Mazda Fuel Pump (which arrived in 1 day), replacing the aftermarket part, and my car's been running great ever since. On 6/29/26, I brought the aftermarket fuel pump back to United to see about getting a refund since I was charged $1109.67 for this bad part. (Note that Beachside's Genuine Mazda part cost was only $880 for the REAL thing). I was willing to negotiate with United on the Labor ($405) since they'd already done the work. United said they'd file a warranty claim and that it'd be after July 4th to get back to me. I asked John how Beachside could get the Genuine Mazda part in a day when he told me they were not available. John tried to defend himself by saying he meant that the Genuine Mazda parts were not available on THAT specific day (i.e., 5/26/26). I can't read John's mind, nor know what he meant to say- I can only act on what he DID say to me that day - that the Genuine Mazda part was NOT available, only aftermarket parts were available. Even if local Mazda stock was all out that specific day, the part could have been shipped from another location outside their local delivery area. (The part is small - about the size of a very small cantaloupe). I returned to United a few days later to follow up on the warranty claim but they needed more time. I requested the $1109.67 part price refunded but John said that was "unlikely". John also called me 7/8/26 to ask me (again) WHY I didn't bring my car back to them for repair; I gave him the same response - that I couldn't trust them. They told me I had to use an Aftermarket part (no Mazda parts available) when Beachside somehow could get a Genuine Mazda part in just 1 day. United's "warranty repair" would have put another BAD AFTERMARKET PART back in my car. Additionally, another statement caused me to question their integrity/accuracy. When I asked about leaving my car outside overnight, John said not to worry because they have a "secure lot" since it's a tow yard. When I arrived on 5/26, no security existed -NO fencing whatsoever, no Rottweiler, n-o-t-h-i-n-g - anyone can walk right into their property. When I questioned that ("secure lot"), it became, "well, we've never had a problem before". On 7/15, I went back to United for their final decison. John told me I will get NOTHING ($0.00) back because I should have TOWED my car back to their garage for their warranty service. United honors the Manufacturer's warranty, in this case = O'Reilly's (where they bought part from). The Manufacturer's warranty states they'll replace the part or refund at their discretion - and only to the entity that purchased it (i.e., United). United's Invoice also states warranty repairs have to be made at their garage. However, if United is only honoring the Manufacturer's warranty, then they would've put another BAD AFTERMARKET FUEL PUMP back into my car since that's all O'Reilly has. Having another bad part put in my car, and endangering my life again on the highway, was NOT an option. United will be made whole by O'Reilly for the part cost, PLUS, get to keep my entire $1614.54 that I paid, including labor markup. This is 100% GREED and an absolute lack of fairness and ethics.

They ran a diagnostic and quoted me $1,000 for the replacement of 8 spark plugs and wires on My 2013 Chevy suburban 5.3 motor. They called me on the phone and I thought it was a joke. But it wasn't! I had the spark plugs and wires replaced in my car 26,000 miles ago for $378. Now Savannah car Care is telling me that I have to spend $1,000 to replace one bad spark plug cable that has gone bad since the last replacement of all 8 plugs. I asked them if they could just replaced the one bad cable and plug. They said NO - that all the spark plugs and cables were bad. Well, to make long story short. I am traveling the country and I needed my SUV, so I said go ahead and do it. Because I complained about the price. They lowered the cost of $906. I've been going to Savannah car Care for about 4 years now. Initially, when I started going there they were great. The manager that I used to deal with left and things have gone downhill. At that time, I had Car Shield warranty and Savannah car Care bad mouth that company to death. Now there are sponsors of that company. Make a pack with the Devil - money talks! Savannah car Care it's no longer the company I used to recommend. They have sold out and now they WAY overprice their services. It's a shame! I will not be back. Our automobiles feel much smoother when driving, we feel more comfortable as our glide ride supports us, and keeps us, and everyone around us safe. We get to feel good about doing the right thing helping to extend the life of our automobiles especially in our area when the distances may be short, or long depending upon our wants or needs. All Pro Tire Pros (The shop that is so professional, they had to list it twice in their name, lol. There has got to be a reason, but why, I have no idea, so ask as you'll have about 45 minutes waiting for you alignment to be done), were they provided you excellent work at a reasonable price. Justin did a great job as I watched him work the phone, calling customers back with a happy and pheasant demeanor letting one know, they can get the part they needed, another, after first calling the mechanic he was going to recommend to them to confirm he wanted the job, that while All Pro Tire Pros could not help them, Justin could recommended a mechanic and a solution, that would handle the problem for them, and finally, sadly another customer that they could not help but recommended the "dreaded" dealer (not mine of course, I'm ok, lol) as their only option. I got to experience GREAT customer service, live and in color! Yea, it's always the little things that mean so much to many of us. You want service? Instead of dealing with a call center in India, or the Philippines where an English speaking name is used to mask their identity so they can tell you "no", over and over again. Yea, it's like that! Then take your ride to All Pro Tire Pros in Bluffton for tires, an alignment, or just about any other mechanical issue your transportation poses because then can feel the satisfaction, and enjoyment of feeling like a valued customer.
