I reached out to Cano and explained the situation and he said he'd stay open and wait for us once we got a tow truck. I went in knowing that I had a wheel bearing needing replacement on the front drivers side. I was quoted that it would be a $90 diagnostic fee. It turns out the diagnostic fee was $190. The diagnosis's came back and I was at a loss for words. I was told that I needed wheel bearing on BOTH the driver and passenger front. I was also informed that the bushings for the control arms needed to be replaced. The cost for this: $2822 plus an alignment @ $125. I informed them that I would be picking up my 2014 Toyota Corolla and doing it myself. I decided to go to Auto Doctors @ 172 Mead Rd Ste C Hardeeville, SC 29927. I told him what was diagnosed by Beachside Auto Care and he said he would diagnose also (No Charge). Jason came back saying that only 1 wheel bearing was bad (the one I thought) and my control arm bushings with showing wear, but did not need repair yet. Total bill from Auto Doctor $425. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND AVOID BEACHSIDE TIRE AND AUTO.
