MUST share our wonderful experience at HILTON HEAD LEXUS HARDEEVILLE. Three months ago my wife & I (along with our 2024 RX350) moved to SCHH in Bluffton. How fortunate for us to have the BEST dealership in South Carolina right in our backyard- HILTON HEAD LEXUS HARDEEVILLE. From the moment we drove into the service entrance, we knew this was our "forever " dealership. Our first visit was a 15K mile service maintenance. In a short time, we met with our MASTER CERTIFIED SERVICE CONSULTANT STEPHEN SCOTT MANKIN. STEPHEN was personable, knowledgeable & professional. He told us exactly what to expect on our visit: the LEXUS COVENANT which promises that "LEXUS WILL TREAT EACH CUSTOMER AS WE WOULD A GUEST IN OUR HOME." And STEPHEN SCOTT MANKIN delivered on that!! Upon completion of our service, he explained to us everything that was performed on our RX350 & then presented us with our newly-washed vehicle. No upsell. How refreshing! Hilton Head Lexus lists vehicles on car shopping sights and don't find it necessary to monitor their posts! Three vehicles I found between CARGURUS and Cars.com and when I go to see the vehicle on their website, they're not listed. This is searching within the same day, so I'm sure the vehicles didn't all 'just get sold' like the AI chat states. If they're paying someone to manage their posting, get them to be more proactive. I used caredge.com and saw they get a 'C' rating with higher than average dealer fees and higher number of add-on. I then used caredge.com to shop the vehicle for me to negotiate the fees. And asked they go outside of VA, FL and NJ. These states have high dealer fees. What used to be part of the job to sell a vehicle is now a financial cost to the potential buyer. Prices are excessive and total cost not always shared with owner before work is done. Service is great if covered by warranty.

Have every thing in writing at the time they say it. Don't go to the finance table with out the proof

This dealer makes promises they can't keep. I bought a brand new Lexus Rx350h and was told I would get free complimentary car washes mornings between 9-12. I was told there was no need to make an appointment for these, just show up in that 3 hour window. The car is 2 weeks old and I drove 40 minutes for my first car wash. Upon arrival, I was told that due to a labor shortage they were only washing cars that had been serviced. One hour and 20 minutes of driving (round trip) for nothing. read more

Refreshingly Excellent service! We were on vaca on HHI and headlight failed. Receptionist was knowledgable, got us in that afternoon. Scott greeted us, gave us an estimate and led us to the coffee bar where the sweetest lady took our orders. Our car was ready 30 min later, washed/vacuumed and cost less than the estimate! Not sure I understand this store's business model. Have walked in twice at different times of day and found no one at front desk and no salespeople who could help me with my purchase. Had a salesperson a year ago who didn't know how to user email and never sent me my quote. My past experience is that if they are so short staffed that they can't. support the sale that they are unlikely to be able to support the car's maintenance needs. Charleston appears to be a better option based on car inventory, professional sales teams and follow up. read more

My SUV was acting funny... sluggish and I booked an appointment while on vacation with my family this summer. After arriving, I explained the problem and the service tech stated he thought he knew the problem. He took it for a drive around the lot and came back and told me that I had accidentally hit a button that switched the gears. I felt so dumb but he was very gracious! I wasn't even charged! After waiting for awhile to receive my 2022 ES 350 Ultra Luxury Lexus, it finally came in this week and we were able to pick it up on Thursday, Feb. 3. What a beautiful car!!!! I thank Robert Hunter and Ben Gray for making this happen for us. Though frustrated at times because it was taking so long for the car to come in, Robert keep assuring me that it was coming. I am so glad that I waited because it is all that I dreamed of. I would say that if you are looking for a Lexus, come join the Lexus family at Hilton Head Lexus because these guys will make it happen for you. I had an all around good experience with HH Lexus. I noticed my car needed an alignment and I was able to reserve an appointment, with a loaner vehicle, for the following week. I was promptly greeted by my agent, Daniel, and was able to tell him what I thought was going on and into a loaner vehicle in about 10-15 minutes. Daniel followed up with me about 3 hours later to inform me of the issue and my car was finished in about 3 additional hours. I picked my car back up the next morning and am happy that it is back on track. read more

On Saturday at 5:10 pm I noticed that my tire pressure gauge was lit up. Not knowing if that meant emergency or warning, I pulled into the Hilton Head Lexus dealer, only to find that the service department was closed. I walked into the showroom and asked the first gentleman I saw, who happened to be the manager, to advise me what I should do. Within minutes, he was escorting me to the nearest gas station where he topped off all four of my tires. I was so grateful to him! Yes, there are still guardian angels in this world! I walked in the service area for the first time. I did not know who I needed to see or which office to go into. But when I walked in I tried to get the attention of one of the attendants by saying excuse me please. But he just kept going. So I stood there another 5 minutes but no one acknowledged my presence. So I left. I will never return. I'll just spend my money at another Lexus. read more

Be careful of this dealership. The sales manger will hide money in the deal sheet. We agreed upon a trade value for my car. The sales manager increased the price of their car on the deal sheet. Had I not caught it I would have paid more than the asking price for their car. I walked away. I refuse to work with unethical dealers. I would advise potential customers to do he same. I'm down for my new girlfriend Lexus. I use to roll with Audio but she was always having issues I don't mind high maintenance but for preventive wellness not not breakdowns... this store at the automatic is good to go like most every Lexus store. read more

I bought a used car from them with a rearview mirror that shakes and a dirty area (dog hair?) in the back of it. Paul and Tina and Derrick ( I think that's their names) assured me it'd be taken care of while the paperwork got done. When paperwork was complete I wanted to return home to my pregnant wife thinking aforementioned was taken care of. However, I ended up needing to vacuum the back of the car out myself after returning home because they did a lousy job with that. Now to the mirror. It shakes. It's annoying. They said they'll take care of it. However, after much research and driving around to glass places (no dealership would do it) Glass Pro said they have to remove the mirror and put it back on. However, if it comes off and cracks the windshield I need a new windshield - so I would need a $600 back- up plan and windshield ready. When I explained this to Lexus dealership, they said "Just have it tightened. I can not pay to replace" A person is only as good as their word and so far Lexus has failed me twice with one vehicle. I would HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND them. I would go somewhere else. You're welcome. Don't waste any time with them. read more
