SCW and I stayed at Hilton London Tower Bridge a few nights during our trip to London. The location is very convenient as it is steps away from the Tower Bridge Tube stop. You can walk to the Tower Bridge easily from here and use the hotel as a great base for all your London exploration needs. There are tons of food and drink options around as well as the Borough market not too far away. We checked in a little early which was nice of them to accommodate us. We got a King executive floor room which was nice, clean and comfortable. Besides the king bed it had a mini bar fridge, two chairs, a desk, safe, iron, ironing board, a pair of robes and slippers as well as a nice flat screen tv. The bathroom was a good size with both a shower and a soaking tub. The bed was comfortable, we never had a problem sleeping here. I'd like the pillows to be a bit more firm but that's preference of course. We did use the executive lounge which was nice with a morning breakfast with pastries, fruit, cereal and rotating small bites in the morning. The evening selection was nice as well, a meat based hot option and also a vegetarian/sometimes vegan option which was great for us. The employees in the executive lounge were very nice and helpful. We used the gym a few times which was nice and clean. They had a few treadmills, elipticals, stationary bikes, one Peloton, free weights and a few machines as well. They also have a restaurant and bar area near the lobby. I/we really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly consider it in the future. read more

As an American tourist, I was quite impressed with this hotel. For a full week in London, I found quite little to complain about, save for one housekeeping mishap, but it was addressed swiftly and professionally. The hotel's location is sublime, a short walk to the London Bridge station (and Tube station of the same name). It is also a short walk from Tower Bridge (as the name implies), and other prominent London landmarks as well. I also found the hotel very clean. The staff is very accommodating to my needs (they will do your laundry if you get it to them by 9 pm and have it back in your room by 6:30 pm). Their breakfast, while not free (it was for me as I am a Hilton Honors Gold member), is delicious and fresh daily, mostly comprised of a full British breakfast, an omelette station, and various fruits, pastries to pick from. Now for the dirt. The rooms are a bit dated, and I feel the temperature controls are poor. My room was fairly hot for the entirety of my stay. I also hate the layout of the bathroom, as the shower with the half door (a splash guard), is just asking for my bathroom to flood. It is also tricky to operate the shower, even though the water pressure is decent. These complaints are fairly minor. Overall my stay was pleasant; the next time I plan a trip to London, I will not hesitate to book a stay here. read more

We've had a great stay here from the time we arrived. From the front desk to concierge. All of the staff greeted us and from that moment our bags were placed outside the cab, they were there to help. Our bed was comfortable and the pillows nice and fluffy. The bathroom consisted of a large soak in tub ( my favorite!) and a separate shower. Hair dryer, soaps, lotion, iron everything needed for a great stay. Walk a couple of blocks to the underground station or catch a bus a couple of blocks away. Easy walk to either. Great modern hotel in a good - and very safe - location. This is a recently developed area with lots of flats and offices so it's clean, quiet at night and safe to walk around. Friendly staff, nice clean room, typical upmarket Hilton linens, good shower. Breakfast buffet is the best I've had in London outside the Waldorf Hilton. Hotel is convenient. Plenty of sights within a short walk. 2 minutes walk to London Bridge station. Good selection of places to eat and drink and there's even a Marks and Spencer food hall opposite the hotel entrance (plus 2 nearby supermarkets). Easy (and inexpensive) to get to from Heathrow by underground, take the Elizabeth line and then change at Bond Street for the Jubilee line to London Bridge. (Or change at Liverpool Street for the Northern line if the Jubilee is not running.) read more

Nice Hilton in great location across from train station with service from Gatwick. Front desk staff are so helpful and pleasant. Nice bar area. Lots of restaurants and pubs short walk in busy commercial area. The Hilton Honors hospitality suite on the 9th floor is really nice. Outdoor patio has a great view of the Shard high rise. In the evening they have heavy appetizers that could easily make a meal. Full bar. Good service. I was in for business so needed a car to for several appointments. Closest garages are about 10 minute walk near the Circle Apartments. You can use the app under the apartments or use another garage behind the circle apartments and pay by credit card. I couldn't get the app to work, so parked behind circle apartments. Overall, after driving all day, having to find parking, and once I found it was a hassle to park, so -1 star. A hotel like this with enough people driving should have a valet. The garages are close enough. Otherwise, a great stay and lively hotel. read more

As a Diamond member and having had many stays with Hilton I was very pleased with this hotel in London and I highly recommend it. I checked in several hours early from a long uber from Cambridge work responsibilities and Aneta at front desk check in said my room was ready although it was several hours before check in. She also said as a Diamond Member she upgraded me to the king executive suite, which I was very happy about. Also, this hotel comes with an amenity of perks for Diamond members that I do not see at most locations I stayed at so far. They had free breakfast in the executive lounge, And a free tea afternoon with tea sandwiches etc., in the afternoon. And a free happy hour at night, also in the Executive Lounge, with food which was enough for me to have dinner at night surprisingly. There's also a happy hour included if you drink. There was also non-alcoholic drinks and coffee included all day, that lounge was one of the best perks. It saved me a lot of time and money. It was also so convenient on one of the floors. One of my local friends from London came because literally across the street is the London Bridge Metro station. And we did an approximately 5-7 minute walk to the Burough market, which was spectacular. The hotel is located in the Perfect area. read more

Great location, walking distance from lots of food, supermarkets, restaurants, local food vendors, bars and public transportation. Only 25 mins from Buckingham palace from the London Underground station and walking distance from London tower bridge. The rooms itself were amazing. Large rooms with great view of the Shard and surrounding areas of the city. Super clean and the staff was very accommodating. Great hotel and will surely be staying here again. read more

TLDR: Location location location. ____ Quick 24 hour layover in London and stayed here for the night. It's right Next to tower bridge and the river, so easy to walk around and hit up restaurants/bars/sites. It's also s quick walk over to a main tube station so managed to get to some of the other sites that way as well. Walking to Bourgh market was my favorite. Stopped in there for a quick bite and it was insane the amount of people. But go. It's close to the hotel. Also rooms were larger than what you'd expect in Europe. Taking a few stars off because: No free WiFi Bed was a little firm for my liking but good pillows. Didn't have the room ready till after 3pm and we walked back to check in and it wasn't ready (was told it was ready at 3). Ended up being ready closer to 5, which meant our original plans were flipped upside down. Sucks as we only had a small window of time, and they didn't have the room ready. read more

What do you need when you're in London for a 24 hour layover? You need a comfy bed. Thanks to the Hilton, this is exactly what we got! This Hilton is super swanky looking, and located just a short 2 minute walk away from a metro station. It's also steps away from - you guessed it - the Tower Bridge. The room was really spacious and had amazing water pressure in the shower. For those traveling internationally, it came with lots of spaces to charge using a USB port so no converter needed. I thought that was nice. I loved that the hotel was located close to shops, restaurants, and bars. It was really easy to get around and explore the sights nearby - but also just as easy to hop on the tube to get to places that were not as walking distance. When we arrived, they had told us our room would be ready at 3 - so we stuck around the area until then. Unfortunately, I guess they were busy and it wasn't ready - which was a bummer. They offered us free drinks at the hotel bar, which was nice. But I didn't find the front desk staff to be particularly friendly or helpful in the multiple interactions we had during our one night stay. If you're staying here and need to get to Heathrow - the hotel has fixed pricing set with taxis, and can arrange for one to pick you up. Would definitely suggest this spot as it is super convenient to get to, and very comfortable and clean. read more

A pretty solid hotel. It's in a convenient location, near a major station and with lots of dining choices nearby from local chains and restaurants to Borough Market, some pubs, etc. The rooms are bigger than I'd normally expect for a European hotel, and I appreciated the US power outlet (since my converter wasn't working) and multiple USB ports for phone and other device charging. The bathtub/shower is a bit awkward, though -- one has to stand in a rather cramped/awkward position in the tub to use the shower if you don't want water spraying all over the floor. The breakfast buffet was just okay, in my opinion. No variety day to day and the pastries were average at best, fruit options were limited, and there was always a long line for the two coffee machines (especially when one or both would be down for needing cleaning.) The bar/lounge was nice, though I was a bit weirded out by the ballpit room (no lie) that one had to pass on the way to the elevator, which was closed off except for special events in the bar (which happened one night and was HUGELY loud). Basically, it was acceptably fine, but not a place I'd go out of my way to stay in again. I guess I prefer hotels with a little more personality and charm and this felt like any Hilton I could stay in anywhere...plus a ballpit. read more

It's easy access from London Bridge tube station. All the employees I encountered were very friendly and helpful. They have great Hilton HHonors elite member recognition and try to accommodate you. At the Executive Club Lounge on the 9th floor, evening cocktail hours are between 6 and 9pm include wines and spirits, but also complementary beers are served after 12 noon which is unique. :) The lounge also has outside terrace area which is nice. The deco is contemporary and still fresh looking for both the public area and rooms which I like more than other Hilton properties in London. read more

What can I say. I have always loved Hilton properties. Stayed here with my family. Five of us, two rooms. Not inexpensive, however worth every penny. Staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Rooms were expansive and beautiful. Location was ideal. My daughter had her two children with her and her room was set for three, two double beds and a fold out recliner. The in room breakfasts were delivered at the assigned times. I hate to say this but there was WAY TOO MUCH food. They offer a continental with many choices, all of them included in the flat price. I needed a large vehicle for transport at an early hour. The car was waiting for us. Upon check out I was given the option of paying in dollars or pounds. I used the $$ option and was able to avoid bank fees on a card that I normally wouldn't use. Fantastic stay! read more

They don't have their own breakfastlounge any longer. In this particularly area is a Jamie Oliver's. And I must say that the breakfast in very nice... With an italian touch... In a fine interior. When you book a room breakfast included you receive vouchers. Otherwise you pay 19,95 GBP. Hotel is very loungy... Rooms are super and service also. Beautiful building, nice lobby, pretty rooms, solid sushi bar, and pretty weak service. I'm not a huge fan of the neighborhood, particularly for a tourist (I'd prefer the Hilton Park Lane any day for its location) -- but if work brings you to this part of town, then this is a pretty solid place to stay. The hotel itself is new, pretty, nice, modern. The service was weak. Examples: 1. The minibar was warm. The person who stocks it might notice and do something. 2. I couldn't order certain items off the menu in the sushi place at 10:15 when it supposedly closed at 10:30. 3. If you go to the bar and ask for a beer, you are robotic-ally asked "where are you sitting?" To which the obvious answer is, I'm not. I'm standing right in front of you. But they make you go sit and take about 10 minutes to get your beer to you when, in an otherwise empty establishment, they just could have done it directly and handed it to you. 4. The food in the executive lounge sits for a really long time. The little cream cheese packets seem to sit out for about 4 hours a day, every day, until they're eventually eaten. Hence a thick, fluid on the top of them when they're opened. The eggs seem sit a long time in the serving bowl which attempts to keep them warm but fails. If you come from the American "keep hot food hot and cold food cold" school of buffet management, they get an F. I didn't get sick, but certainly did wonder if I might. read more

This Hilton hotel seemed to be better than the average Hilton hotels I've stayed at. Extremely modern hotel. The rooms were very nice. The bathroom was as well. I enjoyed having the mobile showerhead. This is a small thing, but I definitely appreciated it. While this may seem to be inconvenient to some, I thought it was fine. Everything is so accessible via the tube. It's about a 3-5 minute walk from the London Bridge station (Which sits on the Jubilee and Northern line). I was planning on doing other things before I left London, so I left my bags with the concierge. They were quite helpful. I was able to leave my luggage with them until I returned to pick my bags and leave for Birmingham, UK. It was easy, since I took the Northern line to London Euston (in order to take the national rail to Birmingham). I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. ****Just remembered. No free wi-fi. Not even in the business lounge (which was located on the 2nd floor, I believe). You have to pay for internet, which to me as an American, is ridiculous --- only because we get wi-fi for free in the States. read more

100% recommend this hotel for a number of reasons. It's super close to a tube. It's super close to the beautiful Tower Bridge and London Bridge. It's super close to restaurants and a market. They provide free breakfast at Jamie Oliver's restaurant and the food is fresh and delicious (although admittedly gets nauseating since it's the same breakfast items every morning) The staff are also great! We arrived early from our red eye and managed to somehow find us a room we could check into. read more

I stayed here with a friend while in London from the US. We had a deluxe room that had 2 twin beds that was perfect for the two of us. The room was spacious and the bathroom was awesome. It had a bathtub and a separate shower. Everything was sparkling clean and all of the staff was super friendly. We added the breakfast buffet on to our room when we made our reservation and it was well worth it. There was always a huge variety of foods down there, from hot food (bacon, eggs, sausage, oatmeal) to cold foods (yogurt, cereals, cheese) and even delicious pastries and coffee cakes. The location of the hotel was perfect for us to get around easily and see all of the big sites. We did a hop on hop off bus and the stop for it was a short walk down the street. There is also lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time I come to London. read more

I stayed here for a week while traveling with a companion on a work trip. the hotel is quite nice for a Hilton - more like a W or other modern American hotel. The bed was a little soft for me but the linens and other amenities were very nice. The staff is very accommodating. The lobby is large and full of cozy couches and nooks. I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, but the 9th floor executive lounge is quite nice. There is a daily full continental breakfast with breads, meat, and other goodies; afternoon tea with scones, sweets, teas, and coffees; and a happy hour with wine and open bottles of liquor. The location is in the middle of a business-centric area and it's not very convenient for heavy tourist areas. There are plenty of places to get a meal in the area (including a nice Marks and Spencer market), and a nearby shopping area called Hays Gallery with a Boots and other stores. However to get to any destinations like St Pauls, the Palace, British Museum, Harrods, Eye, etc...it's a longish cab ride away. The closest tube station is London Bridge about three blocks down, but it's on a different line than almost anything else so there was always at least one transfer involved. Overall nice hotel with good service in a strong business location. Not ideal for tourist site seeing, esp not with kids. read more

I put my visiting parents up in this hotel for half of their visit to the UK. The first half of their visit, they stayed at the only other 4-star hotel in the area: the Guoman Tower Hotel. While this was a nice enough hotel with excellent views of the Thames and Tower Bridge, everything else about it was a bit naff in comparison to the Hilton Tower Bridge. Whereas everything at the Guoman hotel was dated and all the policies were about nickel-and-diming guests, the Hilton was a modern, comfortable and welcoming establishment. How two 4-star hotels in the same area of London can differ so significantly is astonishing. Setting aside the comparisons: Firstly, the Hilton's location and transport links are second-to-none. It's perfect for exploring the best London has to offer. Secondly, the front desk staff are incredibly helpful. I accidentally brought my parents to the Hilton upon their arrival in London only to find that they were actually due to check in to the Hilton after their short visit to Paris. Despite this, the front desk staff checked them in early to ensure they got a good room - in this case, one with a view of Tooley Street and the Shard. Furthermore the room itself was completely comfortable and had all the amenities you'd be looking for in a 4-star room. It even had American electrical sockets for my crazy foreign visitors. I have it on good authority that the room service offerings were tasty and enjoyable. And, perhaps most importantly, the bar downstairs was comfortable and offered guests free wifi. I might just come back to have a few drinks here as a London Bridge resident. A strawberry and champagne cocktail for £13? Yes, please. read more

Definitely geared more towards the business traveller, but still a good place to stay even if you are visiting for fun. The location is great - just south of Tower Bridge and right next to the London Bridge Tube station. Plenty of bus routes also stop nearby at City Hall, including the tourist buses (Original Tour Yellow and Red and the Blue route of the Hop On Hop Off bus). Within walking distance, there are a number of places to eat/drink/shop as well as attractions such as the Borough Market, Southwark Cathedral, The Shakespeare Globe and the Tate Modern. The rooms are modern and include a safe. I also appreciated the built in US power outlet at the desk. Very nice to not have to get an adapter. As a Hilton Diamond member, I had free internet and access to the Executive Lounge. The Exec Lounge is always a great perk as you will never want for drinks or snacks during your stay. Their staff are extrememely friendly - the concierge helped me on each day of my stay and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Would definitely stay here again! read more

The London Tower Bridge hotel is located just a few minutes walk away from the Tower Bridge tube station. It is easy access to many parts of London (very easy if flying to/from London City Airport and decent for other airports). The lobby area was nice, and the hotel seemed fairly new. Service upon check-in could have been quicker but was very friendly. Arrived a few hours early for check-in but was still given a room at once. The room was not huge but still decent size and was fairly nice. Comfortable bed, desk to work at, chair to relax in. Mini-bar, safe, iron, ironing board,coffee/tea making facilities etc provided in the room. Only negative was the fact that they charge for internet (£15 per day), should of course be included. Bathroom was nice as well, good quality products provided and very generous in providing additional item (forgot toothbrush and was given one without extra charge at the front desk). The breakfast was good, a bit busy (we were actually told that it could be very busy between 9-11 so was expected) but the staff were efficient. Good selection of hot and cold food but nothing fantastic. read more

Their restaurant is the pits & ended up being one of the most expensive, worst tasting meals we had Super-near Tower Bridge but on the more businessie side of London, we found the location to be a bit inconvenient - took a while to get everywhere & seemed like we always had to take the Tube (hardly anything w/in walking distance) It was nice to be able to walk across Tower Bridge & over to the Tower of London but that was about it as far as touristy spots - except for some kind of horror-prison-type thing that did not at all appeal to us. So probably wouldn't stay here again but only for location. The rooms were really nice & the staff was extremely accommodating. read more

We don't usually review chain hotels unless they are exceptionally good and the staff at the Hilton London Tower Bridge are excellent... we've stayed here 3 times in the past couple of years and they have been consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is well appointed. The rooms are a really good size for London and the windows are well insulated from noise... and the bed is sooooo comfy! :-) We usually stay on the Executive Lounge floor and the breakfast in the lounge is really very good - worth paying for a room with Executive Lounge access if you don't have HHonors privileges. We would definitely recommend staying here - the location is fabulous, between London Bridge and Tower Bridge and a 3 minute walk from Tower Bridge tube station. I was fortunate enough to stay here for a team event. Expensive but perfectly situated for London Bridge Station and the South Bank. It's a very modern hotel with all the trappings of a chain. The service and the catering was up to scratch with a good selection of food on offer for breakfast as well as a tasty, varied menu in the restaurant. The conference facilities are also very good with the staff flexible and helpful. All of the conference rooms have floor to ceiling windows which makes the whole place very light and airy. The rooms are very nice with modern fixtures and fittings. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Note though that it is expensive. read more

The rooms are modern, spacious. and overall better then the average hilton. A little out of the way because it is south of the river, but plenty of shops and dinning options close by. The executive lounge has free internet (computers not wifi), drinks (including alcoholic) and light food most times of the day. The deal breaker at this hotel is the poor cellular coverage. No 3G or EDGE service, only GPRS. I wasn't unable to use my vodofone dongle, orange service was not much better either. read more

Stayed here for 4 days on a business trip. I avoided the hotel restaurant the Larder thanks to the advice of fellow Yelpers. It always looked empty. The lobby is quite massive and full of loungey leather couches, there's a bar that also serves coffee drinks and pastries and take away food. The room was great, dark wood with heavy curtains that block out all the light. I especially loved the executive lounge on the 9th, they consistently had great bites to eat, the food was always fresh and warm. Breakfast there is also done well. They have scrambled eggs and english bacon (which is more like thick ham to americans, perfect for a nutty butty), an assortment of breads and pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, coffees, teas and my favorite NUTELLA!! You don't know how happy this made me :) Their happy hour is also fully stocked with all the alcoholic amenities you can think of and you can have your nice drink outside on the rooftop patio. I was blessed to be in London for 4 days and nary a cloud in the sky! This hotel is close to the Tower Bridge, I had to cross that bad boy every morning to head to the north part of London. It is also within walking distance of the London Tower. However if you want to see Buckingham Palace etc you will be far away. read more
