We ended up having to find an apartment and had to put our stuff in multiple storage units. To make matters worse, Carmen who was the salesperson we dealt with let us know she is keeping a portion of our money for all these repairs and cleaning that we were not responsible for. There were many belabored emails that just went in circles, offering no resolution and no apology. Two tenants moved out while NLR was managing the property and there were damages unfixed and no deposit credited. For example, after the first tenant moved out we were told to get the carpet professionally cleaned, then replaced altogether in order to rent. The repairs department was the exception, especially the new manager. He stayed on top of the jobs, and communicated before and after.
