Randomly found this food truck parked in another lot during the off season. Seems like the only…read moresource of information on this place is directly on their website that gets updated maybe twice a year. Haven't found a facebook page or anything else. Waited and kept checking to see when they would open and finally they did in June. Showed up and they only take cash, no meat combo meals, had to be a half rack of ribs, and menu was almost exclusively burgers and fries. So I gave my hopes up and figured this place must not be worth it. Happened to be driving by one day and happened to have cash on me. Figured I'd check it out just to know for certain what I was missing. Just so happened that a meat combo was the "Special" of the day. 1/4 rack and pulled pork which was pretty much all they had for actual "BBQ" stuff. I don't consider burgers part of BBQ. And now I'm looking at their menu online which has been updated and they now serve Brisket on Friday and Saturday nights. And they change up their sides every week. Happened to catch them with Baked Beans and Pasta Salad that day. Ribs were 3 bones for a 1/4 rack. Slathered and char grilled quite a bit, which are 2 things I don't want on ribs. But damn it was good for a charred rib. Meat was as tough as you expect it to be for a rib all charred up but the sauce had a sweet fun heat kick to it. The kind of heat that doesn't burn at all but it feels like it might. Fruity sensation to it too. Other parts were a bit more tender and I think the original pork flavor gets a little lost in these ribs. With the char and the sauce it was hard to find a real good pork flavor but it was still very good. Pulled Pork was exactly how it was supposed to be, not completely torn apart, still big chunks that are soft and easy. Seasoned well, very moist, great pork flavor and seasoning flavor. Exactly the kind of pulled pork I want. Side of sauce wasn't completely necessary but I tried it on the pork. Thick style, I don't think it was the same stuff as on the ribs. But it was sweet and slow and did it's job. Pasta Salad was excellent. This was legit homemade Italian grandma olive oil style. Cut up peppers, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, Fussilie pasta. Flavor and texture made the stuff so easy to eat I could have just face planted myself into it. Beans looked amazing. Obviously some pulled or shredded meat, I want to say brisket. Maple and Brown Sugar flavors hit the tongue instantly, It was crazy. Tiny hint of smokey flavor from the brisket. Pinto beans could have used a tad bit longer in the pot but it wasn't a deal at all, just a preference. Slaw had a great sweet vinegar taste like any good slaw would. Pretty much only cabbage shreds but honestly who can tell the taste between carrots and radish when they've been pickling in the same juice. Slaw was gone before I could even think about it anymore ... so that should tell you something. Surprisingly good food truck. I just hate that it's cash only, I completely understand why, and that the sides change every week and it's not updated anywhere. But I will have to go back and try their burgers and fries and brisket and hotdogs soon.

Friendly service and decent food with a handful of Food Truck specialty menu items of BBQ ribs,…read morepulled pork, hot dogs, hamburgers, and a few sides. Sides on our visit included cole slaw, fries, cucumber salad, and baked beans. The half-rack of 8 ribs was generous, meaty, smoky, with a very nice, sweet, southern-style sauce brushed-on and also provided as a bonus dip. While the *flavors* were lovely in the slaw, beans, and BBQ sauce, the cuke salad had very little if any dressing, the beans seemed undercooked, and the ribs were overcooked. Ribs should be fall-off-the-bone tender, and we had to tear at every bone. Mind you, we picked them clean because, again, the flavor was good. But definitely overly dry, indicating a too-hot, too-fast cooking this time out. Easy-to-miss this BBQ trailer tucked into the far leafy corner of White's Sugar House & Farm Stand parking lot just before Route 202 if you're going east on Route 119. There aren't always practical street addresses in this mostly rural area, and the old farm sign is all but buried by the surrounding tree growth in summer. Slow up as you approach the lighted intersection, and keep your eyes peeled for the Old Fitzwilliam Rd street sign, even though it's just the driveway. Despite the dry ribs, we prefer indie places to chains, so we are still glad to have tried it. Southern sauce this good is harder to come by up north.

Very refreshing. We added a bright and brightly-flavored roasted beet salad with, crumbled goat cheese, glazed pecans & slices of pickled red onions. And they kindly allowed us to order a simple hot grilled cheese & fries off of the kids' menu, which we shared around as a little bar snack to tide us over. We enjoyed the view to the west of stately Monadnock Mountain. They have a golf course and mini-golf, too, but this time we were just for the beer. In addition to the hand-written tap list above the bar, they keep an online list up-to-date, too. This was a pleasant recovery from our strenuous day. We visited on a Saturday, and we'll make sure to get back here during their weekday 4-6pm happy hour!

Other patrons arrived after us and received their meals before us. Ordered the German Bistro Steak. Asked for medium rare. Two bites in and realized it was raw. No exaggeration, it was red and cold. They offered to cook it more but we had a comedy show to go to next door at 7:30. No time to wait. Didn't have to pay for my portion of the meal. I understand they were short staffed but it was unacceptable that others who arrived after us were served. One group heard us talking and came over after they were finished. They advised us they were friends of the workers and ordered ahead of time and that's why their meals came first. We said we didn't know ordering ahead was an option. They replied it wasn't an option but since they were friends they got to order. We've been to this restaurant many times before but will never go back. Once I saw the restroom was a mess that was an indication this place has gone down hill. Ruined our night out and left hungry.

Reservations are encouraged since table seating is limited, but they have seating up at the bar. The main food preparation area by the chef is in the back corner of the dining room and another kitchen in the back. For food, they offer a selection of homemade dishes with local and European influence including a selection of starters, soups, salads, main entrees (chicken, flank steak, pasta dishes, seafood, vegetarian), and housemade desserts. They also offer specials and a list of wine, cocktails and mocktails. The prices are moderate here. After checking out the Halloween decorations along town streets, I stopped by 21B Bar & Grill on Main Street, which is not affiliated with 21 Bar & Grill in Keene. I did not have a reservation since this was a last minute decision to have dinner here and I took a seat up at the corner bar. I was given menus to look at and I got an ice water to start. I was going to order the Beef Wellington Puffs for an appetizer, but they sold out. I ordered the Blini ($13 plus tax) for an appetizer and the Pumpkin Fettuccine Alfredo ($19 plus tax) for an entrée (special dish). The Blini came out first which were three dark round smaller pancakes topped with smoked salmon and crème fraiche. This starter was pretty good, but it did not resemble the blini in their online picture which had 4 stacked small light colored pancakes and less salmon. The Pumpkin Alfredo with a slice of garlic toast was a good portion of firm cooked fettuccine noodles smothered with a thick creamy pumpkin alfredo sauce (orange color). 1 thoroughly enjoyed this entrée and decided to get dessert, which was a Pumpkin Tiramisu ($10 plus tax) which was a small piece layered with espresso soaked ladyfingers, cool creamy layers topped with whipped cream. The check was presented which was $43.96 with tax and before tip. Overall, the food had was very enjoyable and the staff seemed pleasant. They were asking customers where they were coming from including locals from Jaffrey & Peterborough, folks from across the MA border, and myself driving from Concord after work. I will very likely return back here for dinner again so I can try out their French Hunter's Chicken, which looked very appetizing and one of their most popular dishes.
