We had a certain vibe we wanted, and Sean worked with us to not only listen to our vision, but understand and be able to make that into something spectacular. I've been to a lot of weddings, and I've never heard a DJ be able to play such a diverse group of genres, and mix them in a way that not only sounded good, but kept the dance floor full the entire time!! Sean also provided all of the lighting for our wedding, which brought our venue to the next level! We got our photo booth through Sean, which only heightened the wedding. A lot of photo booths can look like just a quick set up, but this one looked elegant and a blast, and we were able to use the photo booth as our guest book! We told Sean we wanted the party of the century at our wedding, and he delivered just that. We had such an amazing time on Lake Travis thanks to Willo and Float On. Everything about the…read moreexperience was extremely streamlined from booking to filling out waivers to navigating to the marina. Willo gave superb instructions on operating and piloting the boat including an overview of relevant customs and laws while out on the water. Our group had six adults and one 2-year old and they had plenty of water safety devices for all ages. On a side note, it was wonderful to see how genuinely excited Willo was about Lake Travis once again having a healthy water level after several dry years. In terms of our experience on the lake, we got excellent advice on where to travel based on our team's interests and after following his directions it felt like we had arrived on our own private lake. We probably only saw a handful of other boats during our 3-hour excursion and that was only in passing. The boat came with a Garmin GPS that made it really easy to retrace our steps. For those wondering, there was excellent cell phone service out on the lake and we were able to use our phone GPS, make calls, and stream music. The boat had some nice integrated speakers with Bluetooth connectivity and we were able to jam out to our own tunes. There was also a cool flotation device attached to the back of the boat called the Aqua Lily Pad which we unrolled after anchoring, we had multiple adults laying on it without sinking into the lake. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience and we would highly recommend booking with Float On.

He was introduced to me as the boat owner and came across as relaxed and not at all pushy--qualities I appreciate when considering a business, especially since part of my motivation for attending was to explore options for my birthday celebration. Unfortunately, Paul's friends left a negative impression. A couple of them outright refused to acknowledge me, turning away when a gentleman attempted to introduce me. Others made inappropriate jokes about my accent in a condescending and offensive manner. One individual even made vulgar comments, implying that Paul should get my phone number to discuss event planning details later, which was completely unprofessional and inappropriate. While the event itself was enjoyable, the boat ride interesting, the behavior of those around the boat owner and the fact that the boat owner never replied to my text message trying to discuss my event, was disappointing and detracted from my overall experience. This experience left me with a negative impression of the boat's management, and I strongly feel that they are not welcoming to immigrants. The group consisted of older white men whose behavior was filled with prejudice and hostility. And for that reason I felt compelled to post a review discouraging people like me- and those against this type of behavior - to stay away and make better choices. We can use our money to invest in a much better experience elsewhere I left the boat traumatized and truly disgusted by those old men behaviors. Do better!

We had a bachelor party with seven guys and needed a last-minute yacht reservation. We were stressed, scrambling to get everything together, and honestly weren't sure if we'd even be able to make it happen. Then we found Shoreline Boat Rentals, and Captain Dave completely saved the day. From the beginning until the moment we said goodbye, Dave's customer service was second to none. Even with such short notice, he had the yacht cleaned, prepped, and ready to go. When we arrived, he had a checklist ready to make sure we didn't forget anything in our vehicles before we left the dock. It sounds simple, but when you're trying to organize a bachelor party, little things like that make a huge difference. He took all the stress off our shoulders so we could focus on having fun. The yacht itself was absolutely beautiful--honestly, the pictures on the website don't do it justice. It's even more impressive in person, and it was spotless from front to back. What impressed me most was Dave's attention to detail. I needed a screwdriver to fix one of our water guns, and before I knew it, Dave showed up with one and even fixed it for me. That's the kind of customer service you just don't see very often. Once we got to Devil's Cove, Dave went above and beyond. He helped grill burgers, made sure everyone had food, drinks, and plenty of ice, and kept checking in to make sure everyone was having a great time. It honestly felt like his mission was to take all the thinking out of the day so we could just relax and enjoy ourselves--and he absolutely accomplished that. Safety was also a top priority. Before we left the dock, Dave clearly explained the rules while the boat was underway and while it was anchored. Everything was straightforward, easy to understand, and he made sure everyone stayed safe without taking away from the fun. Pulling into Devil's Cove was one of the highlights of the day. We cruised in with the music playing, the yacht looked incredible, and it definitely turned some heads to get the attention we wanted! It made for an unforgettable bachelor party. Captain Dave didn't just provide a yacht--he created an experience. He turned what could have been a stressful, last-minute situation into one of the best days we've had together. 10/10 across the board: customer service, professionalism, cleanliness, safety, and the overall experience. We found him through a venue's "Preferred Vendors" list, and I sent him an e-mail to see if he was available. The next day, I had a comprehensive and friendly message from him sitting in my inbox. After working with a bunch of not-so-great-at-communicating-online vendors, this was a big deal and good first impression. Pre-event prep with Seth went very well -- communication was efficient and friendly (e-mail, phone, Facebook, he's on everything), he was flexible and cooperative with our song choices (last minute on our part, oops!), and was very helpful in getting us the most for our budget. We met up once before the event at a Starbucks to discuss specifics, and kept in touch until the weekend via e-mail and phone. Also, though we didn't use it, he also does some great lighting, so if you're looking for a special setup definitely ask! Most importantly, he was great on the day of the event -- we admittedly had a really really hard crowd to work with (older asians, shy co-workers, etc) but after a while, our family and friends loosened up and enjoyed themselves for the rest of the reception. Our music choices leaned mostly toward Sinatra, family-friendly classics, and fun songs that everyone knows, but I wouldn't doubt Seth's abilities to throw some dirty south bass down with the best of them - I wish I had known about DJ's like Seth when I planned parties in college, as I'm sure that would have been great , haha. Overall, we were very happy working with Seth and Oxi Entertainment and recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ and reliable, professional vendor for their event.

Throughout the entire planning process, Anthony was able to follow up with us and make sure we had all of our song selections ready to go for wedding day. The month leading up to our wedding was a stressful one, as we were so busy planning last minute details, but Anthony was so patient with us. He had no problem accommodating all of my last minute song changes (and I had several!) We met with Anthony virtually a week or two before our wedding and he guided us through our song choices. He gives you the option to choose songs for your reception playlist, but that was a challenge for us, so instead he just asked us what genres we liked (and didn't like) and went from there. On our actual wedding day, Anthony's song choices were perfect! He has a great way of reading the crowd, something you can only find in a true professional, and our dance floor was PACKED the entire night. I also have to mention how flawless our wedding ceremony was. Anthony was amazing at blending our ceremony processional songs perfectly so that 1) our family, 2) our bridal party and then 3) me and my dad's walk down the aisle was just beautiful. No awkward pauses or lapses in music. Everything was just a dream, and I will recommend Anthony and Hill Country DJ over and over again!

I made it extremely clear during planning that I'm a huge music person and had very specific requests. I spent hours filling out planning documents, curating playlists, and even going through the 200 most common wedding songs list crossing out all the songs we absolutely did not want played. Despite that effort, many of those exact songs were played anyway. He also completely missed our first dance by going straight into reception music instead of starting the song we had planned. When we tried to correct it, my husband and I were left standing awkwardly in the middle of the dance floor while he searched for the song. He insisted he didn't have the correct version, which wasn't true. I had to walk over to the booth myself, find the song on his system, and point it out to him so we could finally start. It was incredibly awkward and not the moment any couple wants during their first dance. Other issues included, ignoring our "do not play" list, refusing requests from close family members, arguing loudly with our wedding planner in front of guests, playing our requested last dance song randomly during the reception, then ending the night with "Don't Stop Believin'", which was explicitly listed as a DO NOT PLAY song. Right before our private last dance he even came over to ask if he had the correct song available, which didn't exactly inspire confidence. The only part of the music that went well was cocktail hour, because it was simply my Spotify playlist playing straight through. At the end of the day, I could have run Spotify myself and had a better outcome while saving the money. If music is important to you for your wedding, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Brian is very professional to work with, from setting up time to making personalized touches to the photo strip images. If you are fortunate enough that Brian is available, he is always early to the event to get set up with his awesome photo booth. He brings it all and doesn't ask for help (but I don't mind helping!). He's always ready for action when the time starts with a table FULL of awesome and fun props. I also love the light booth he uses, just the right light to make anyone look amazing, especially in a wig and feather boa. Then, the favorite part of the event, the photo strips that he is able to print out. It's so much fun to have something to physically take home from the night. I think the biggest thing to remember is that people are shy at the start of the event, so it's a little quieter. But as the night winds up/down, the photo booth becomes the hot spot! One thing I really appreciate - Brian uses a high-resolution camera in the booth, not just an iPad, so the picture quality on our photo strips is excellent. He also customizes the photo print outs to include our logo alongside the event logo, so the marketing value of the booth is extended beyond the event.
