I want to share my experience that I had at this wedding chapel June 13 2026. I spoke to Jennifer I…read morewanted to speak to her about her behavior during and after the ceremony. She was rude and condescending during the whole ceremony. I understand it's 45 minute ceremony we were advised 50 per person if we had additional guests after the initial package. Which we all were aware and most people don't carry cash so we had credit cards and some people had cash there was 13 extra people. She talked about not having enough staff we didn't complain ...I said you seem upset she said I think it tacky to have to take several credit card payments..It's NOT her job to have to take multiple payments for our wedding!!! Who says that to her guests and paying customers with a nasty attitude!!!! This is your business and you're upset you're collecting 500 plus dollars. There were no other customers there and we were her last customers...Jennifer the owner was TERRIBLE she used the word tacky so many times. I felt if we were another race it would have been different I also said we're NOT tacky and that she has POOR customer. So I'm wondering if this what she thinks about people of color and she kept saying YES I'm frustrated I advise Jennifer if you're frustrated the paying customers should NEVER know how you feel...It's funny a lot of guest felt the same way saying she was very rude...She expressed it several times...Yes I'm upset. I advise how I felt in a positive way she was the aggressor.Just a fyi when you mistreat your customers we should NEVER know how you feel as a customer most people never post the good experience but the bad experience all of the time!!!!! The internet is very powerful tool...

She was very impatience, disrespectful, dismissive, rude and racist! She told me and my family it was tacky to make her take payments for the additional people who attended my wedding. we gave her a additional $500 for the additional 12 people and she explained she would not be taking indivual payments because it was extra work for her! She told my family hurry up she is ready to go! Told us she would charge my card an additional $400 every additional 10 minutes and rushed our pictures and celebration even though we were the last wedding. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone! I very horrible owner and experience! Do NOT have your wedding here it will ruin your special day!

The stained glass is lovely and adds the perfect touch for a small wedding or gathering. The venue has ample room for guests and parking is adequate. The location is easy to get to and a small town location means no traffic. Inside, this church is surprisingly spacious with plenty of light coming through the stained glass. Seating was comfortable and there was enough room between guests, without feeling crowded. The church was repurposed as a venue in 2021 and what a great idea this was, both preserving history and giving locals the opportunity to experience life changing events inside. Outside, the church has quaint architecture and is located on a quiet street. Everything comes together to make Water To Wine Venue And Hall a perfect choice for people who love history and want a quaint setting for their events.

While quaint, beautiful, and charming, this venue is absolutely not fit for hosting 200 people as…read morestated on their website. Our event hosts were wonderful and gracious, but I can't help but feel terrible seeing how uncomfortable people were here. We attended a wedding here with roughly 150 people, and it was incredibly tight, hot, and uncomfortable. The chairs and tables set up for dinner were jam-packed so tight, that no one was seated comfortably, sitting with the tables pressing into our stomachs as we ate. For one person to stand up and leave the row, the entire row had to stand up and step out of the row to make room. There was also no room to move around between tables, and because of this, it took almost an entire hour just to get all the attendees through the buffet. Even after getting food, the lack of space meant nobody could get a water refill (which could've been avoided had they been filled before guests were seated), or get up to use the bathroom. Speaking of which, there were only 3 working toilets in the entire venue, one of which had a door that didn't lock, and apparently had flooded earlier in the day. I would strongly recommend ownership take a look at their liability if there was an emergency in the room with so many people and so little ability to move. In addition to being much too small for 200 people, the area set up for the dance floor is clearly not fit to have even 50 people dancing. With roughly 30 dancers, the floor visibly bowed up and down to a dangerous level. It also appears there is no air conditioning at this venue, the heat inside the building was incredibly uncomfortable, even when it was only 75 degrees outside. There were only 2 ceiling fans in the main area. What's worse, was the lack of water. There was no water brought up to the main area until very late in the evening, you had to walk downstairs to get more, and no additional cups were provided for anyone to get the water that was provided. Parking was also an issue, it was necessary to have everyone double or even triple park to fit everyone in, there is absolutely not enough space for a 200-person event to park at this facility. Overall, the event space is beautiful and gorgeously decorated, but is clearly only fit for smaller events of less than 100 people. I would highly recommend the ownership of this venue revise their recommendations for party sizes.

The facility…read moreitself was stunningly beautiful, but what really makes this place amazing was Mary and her unwavering support. I could visibly see my bride and mothers shoulders relax after meeting Mary for the first time, a few weeks before the wedding. Mary had all sorts of supplies we could use (all for free) and really knew her stuff. During our rehearsal, Mary instructed everyone to come to her on the day of the wedding. Not me (the groom), not my mother, not the bride, but her. She played the QB and handled everything. Guys, and girls, in a world where couples getting married are nickled and dimed for every little thing, this place is the opposite. Never once did Mary say something like "Sure, we can do that for an extra fee". Everything was "Oh sure, here's what I have, what do you think?" You can tell both Chris and Mary really enjoy their work. I have nothing but glowing comments to say about them and their facility. I would recommend them a hundred times over if I could. Go with them and their facility, you won't regret it.
