Attended the Hozier concert on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 -- and "chaotic" doesn't even begin to cover it. Everything started off great. We breezed through security, grabbed merch quickly, and were actually impressed by how smoothly things seemed to be running. But it all went downhill fast. Gigi opened and performed four songs before being pulled from the stage. Moments later, an announcement came over the speakers citing severe weather, instructing people to either shelter in place (with barely any room to do so) or return to their vehicles. We -- along with hundreds of others -- stood packed in the concourse for nearly two hours with zero direction or updates. Rain poured in through the bleachers, soaking people despite wearing ponchos. All the booths and stands were closed, so there was no access to water or anything else. It was uncomfortable, poorly managed, and honestly felt unsafe. Around 9:30 PM, with still no new information, we made the call to leave. We headed back to our car, only to get stuck in gridlock traffic trying to exit the lot -- for nearly an hour. No one was directing traffic or managing flow. Then, suddenly at 10:15 PM, they posted an announcement saying the venue was reopening. What followed was a total mess -- cars trying to leave clashing with fans trying to return, people sprinting toward the gates, vehicles weaving around each other recklessly, honking, pulling out in front of each other. It was dangerous, and absolutely no one was coordinating anything. We ultimately decided to continue leaving -- even though lightning was still visible and it was raining -- because we had already waited so long, and the whole experience had become incredibly frustrating. If they were going to let the show resume in those conditions, it should've happened an hour earlier instead of stringing people along with "lightning delay" messages. This venue was completely unprepared and unprofessional. The lack of communication and crowd control was unacceptable. I'm heartbroken to have missed seeing one of my favorite artists because of the disorganization, and I know thousands of others are feeling the same way. I won't be returning to this venue -- no matter who's playing. Truly one of the worst concert experiences I've ever had.

Security is insensitive and assholes. My brother walks with a cane, and has to stop every 4-5 steps to catch his breath. We got the chance to meet the players after the Aviators game... which was great! Players were very grateful, humble, awesome young men. The security, absolutely horrible. My son was walking with his uncle to leave and security kept talking crazy to both of them... as if they weren't trying to leave. Very unprofessional and when I asked the security to stop antagonizing the situation and that we are trying to leave as fast as my brother could walk, the security continued to be an asshole and antagonist, trying to escalate the situation into something even more than what it needed to be. The fact that I feel my brother was being discriminated against and we were being targeted because of that is ridiculous. Have some patience and at least some empathy or offer some help to those who are disabled. Trying to flex your little power and position was not the thing to do. I understand being tired and wanting to go home... WE ALL WANTED TO GO HOME! But the unprofessionalism of this guy was ridiculous. Completely unnecessary. So to this guy, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't act like this if you were actually by yourself and didn't have police presence around. So don't try to flex your muscles or stroke your ego on someone who is disabled.

Only complaint I'd say was audio and the parking that was messed up. But overall was such a fun time here for the last four days I came here for Sonic Temple. Plenty of places to cool off and get shade if needed. Prices of food was insane as well. But the bands were great. I enjoyed all the new bands I listened to and previous bands I initially came to listen to were great too. I would still recommend Sonic temple to anyone who wants to enjoy an awesome festival. People were also nice and very welcoming to anyone who was new and also experienced festival goers.

Destruction from the initial storm front, in which they were asking people to walk 20 min back to their cars to shelter in place.

The stadium has bleachers, the middle section of which have chair backs. There are clean restrooms and a concession area selling snacks like nachos and popcorn. On our recent visit, we went to a Men's Soccer Game, and it was a great experience. There is plenty of seating, and a large color screen showing the action on the field. Kids can get close to the tunnel where the athletes go through and give them high fives when they are heading into the locker rooms at halftime. Brutus and two Crew Cats were in attendance, walking around and sitting down to fans, sliding down banisters, and giving hugs and high fives. Very fun!

For a…read more7:30pm primetime game in early October, I got to watch the defending national champion and #1 ranked Buckeyes play against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Just standing in front of Ohio Stadium was a surreal feeling. Affectionately known as "The Horseshoe", it is an iconic landmark in college football. Opened in 1922, fast forward 100 years later and the stadium is still in terrific condition. Capacity says 102,780 yet towards the end of the 3rd quarter, an announcement was made over the loudspeakers that attendance reached 105,000 for this game. Just an incredible number! It's like...the entire city of Columbus, OH comes together and celebrates Ohio State football and their rich heritage and gridiron success on Saturday gamedays. I purchased my ticket about 1 week ahead of time on TickPick and paid $150 (all included) for a seat in Section 26C and Row 40, near the top of the visiting side stands. The seat was parallel to the 30-yard line and views were unobstructed. I had no complaints about sitting too high up. My only issue was the timing of buying my ticket. When re-checking prices the day of the game, I realized had I waited and done more price discovery, similar seats in my section were going for just $40. Ouch! I paid way too much, lol. But still, for being a lifelong college football fan, no real price mattered in the end. It's about having memories that are priceless. In fact, just the week prior to this Ohio State game, I attended a "Whiteout Game" at Penn State and paid $450 for a seat. Ohio Stadium allows fans to enter through the gates 2 full hours before kickoff. During that time, I walked around the exterior of the stadium. My best photos came from the backside entrance near the tennis courts. Yeah, if you walk towards the endzone side of "the horseshoe", you'll discover tennis courts and if you keep walking behind the courts, you'll notice Ohio Stadium in the background and in my opinion, it's worthy of a picture. Off to the side of the tennis courts is a cool Ohio Statue statue that fans were taking photos in front of. It said..."The Incomparable Script Ohio, Established 1936". For this 7:30pm game, Ohio State's team entrance onto the field was electric. Fireworks shot out from behind the scoreboard like a cannon and made for an incredibly colorful display in the sky with the fading sunset. Every time Ohio State scored a touchdown, more shooting fireworks lit up the night. Also behind the stadium scoreboard were 2 residential towers lit up in red. Not sure if these red towers shine every evening or just for Ohio State games. It was cool looking nonetheless. Ohio State dominated the game from start to finish. They defeated Minnesota 42 -3, so by the time the 4th quarter started, half the stadium was empty. I stayed until the end regardless. Who knows when I'll be able to return to Columbus for another game, so I savored every moment. Finally, I must give total credit to Ohio State's band. They were fantastic. Throughout the game they played the school's signature song..."Hang On Sloopy", a tradition since 1965 made famous by The McCoys. After the game was completed, the band continued playing Hang On Sloopy as they marched out of Ohio Stadium, ending another Ohio State game in classic fashion. Overall, it was a true joy to visit Ohio Stadium and watch the Buckeyes play football in primetime. Long been a To-Do List sports goal of mine, sitting beside 105,000 fans rooting for Ohio State was an indescribable feeling that every college football fan should experience. Thanks for having me Buckeyes.
