Featured events throughout the season include dime-a-dog nights (picture people eating 10 cent hotdogs!), several typical daytime "Businessman Special" games, and various other special events. The park has been known to have fireworks. One of my absolute favorite features of this ballpark, is along the second baseline. That part of the field has "windows" in the brick wall at the street level, whereby individuals who want to see the game, but for whatever reason don't have a ticket can watch the whole thing unfold from the sidewalk. For individuals who can't acquire tickets for themselves or their children this is a wonderful feature, whereby they can still enjoy a professional baseball game. Hats off to the Clippers organization for incorporating this thoughtful design into their facility. Ample parking is close by. And usually this parking fairly reasonably priced. Be aware that the hockey arena and the soccer stadium are both close by, as well as other entertainment venues. In the height of summer, this can sometimes make for a very busy entertainment district. So be sure and check the schedule of what's going on at the other venues, You may need some extra time to arrive and navigate your way to the ballpark. Get ready to sing the tag line of this song: "Columbus Clippers, Ring Your Bell!!!"

I would highly recommend you always remember to place the receipt on your dash and make sure it doesn't fall off, as mine did. I got a email saying that I didn't pay for parking and it was a lot more money than I had originally paid. I had to leave the game and take a picture of the receipt and send it to them to proof it. A lot of drama! There is a lot that is owned by Huntington Park located at the home plate entrance. It doesn't come with drama. The tickets to the games are reasonable in price no matter what seat you choose. The food is pricey but no more than other ball parks. Some gluten free options are available but cross contamination may happen. I just go for the ice cream and popcorn!

Where do I even start…read more I traveled to Ohio for a Drake concert in 2024 and while the show itself was great, there were props and other items blocking my view that made it really hard to see. I contacted Ticketmaster who told me it was the arenas issue. When I reached out to the arena they basically said I should have gone to customer service during the concert. Honestly who even knows to do that in the middle of a show. After several emails back and forth, customer service eventually offered me tickets to another concert as compensation. I picked Justin Timberlake which again required traveling. The night before leaving, the concert was cancelled and rescheduled. Not the arenas fault, but the notice came way too late for me to cancel my hotel. When it was rescheduled, I traveled from Chicago to Columbus and my friend flew in from Houston and while we were literally on our way to the arena the concert was cancelled again. At that point I was beyond frustrated because what are the odds. I had been in communication with LaToya who said she was working with her supervisor to make this right, but after that I followed up multiple times and got completely left on read. I started a new email thread and the last message I got months ago was just sorry. This is a multi million dollar industry and they could not care less about how customers are affected, the costs, the travel, the time, the hotels. It is extremely disappointing and I never heard back again. And now it is 2026 smh. Now the Director, Brook wants to finally respond and flex her muscle. Letting me know its not their fault and basically oh well. I get it its not their lost but they could have said that months ago. Instead of avoiding and ignoring my follow up emails

The stadium has bleachers, the middle section of which have chair backs. There are clean restrooms and a concession area selling snacks like nachos and popcorn. On our recent visit, we went to a Men's Soccer Game, and it was a great experience. There is plenty of seating, and a large color screen showing the action on the field. Kids can get close to the tunnel where the athletes go through and give them high fives when they are heading into the locker rooms at halftime. Brutus and two Crew Cats were in attendance, walking around and sitting down to fans, sliding down banisters, and giving hugs and high fives. Very fun!

It was magical attending my first ever Ohio State game here at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, OH. For a…read more7:30pm primetime game in early October, I got to watch the defending national champion and #1 ranked Buckeyes play against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Just standing in front of Ohio Stadium was a surreal feeling. Affectionately known as "The Horseshoe", it is an iconic landmark in college football. Opened in 1922, fast forward 100 years later and the stadium is still in terrific condition. Capacity says 102,780 yet towards the end of the 3rd quarter, an announcement was made over the loudspeakers that attendance reached 105,000 for this game. Just an incredible number! It's like...the entire city of Columbus, OH comes together and celebrates Ohio State football and their rich heritage and gridiron success on Saturday gamedays. I purchased my ticket about 1 week ahead of time on TickPick and paid $150 (all included) for a seat in Section 26C and Row 40, near the top of the visiting side stands. The seat was parallel to the 30-yard line and views were unobstructed. I had no complaints about sitting too high up. My only issue was the timing of buying my ticket. When re-checking prices the day of the game, I realized had I waited and done more price discovery, similar seats in my section were going for just $40. Ouch! I paid way too much, lol. But still, for being a lifelong college football fan, no real price mattered in the end. It's about having memories that are priceless. In fact, just the week prior to this Ohio State game, I attended a "Whiteout Game" at Penn State and paid $450 for a seat. Ohio Stadium allows fans to enter through the gates 2 full hours before kickoff. During that time, I walked around the exterior of the stadium. My best photos came from the backside entrance near the tennis courts. Yeah, if you walk towards the endzone side of "the horseshoe", you'll discover tennis courts and if you keep walking behind the courts, you'll notice Ohio Stadium in the background and in my opinion, it's worthy of a picture. Off to the side of the tennis courts is a cool Ohio Statue statue that fans were taking photos in front of. It said..."The Incomparable Script Ohio, Established 1936". For this 7:30pm game, Ohio State's team entrance onto the field was electric. Fireworks shot out from behind the scoreboard like a cannon and made for an incredibly colorful display in the sky with the fading sunset. Every time Ohio State scored a touchdown, more shooting fireworks lit up the night. Also behind the stadium scoreboard were 2 residential towers lit up in red. Not sure if these red towers shine every evening or just for Ohio State games. It was cool looking nonetheless. Ohio State dominated the game from start to finish. They defeated Minnesota 42 -3, so by the time the 4th quarter started, half the stadium was empty. I stayed until the end regardless. Who knows when I'll be able to return to Columbus for another game, so I savored every moment. Finally, I must give total credit to Ohio State's band. They were fantastic. Throughout the game they played the school's signature song..."Hang On Sloopy", a tradition since 1965 made famous by The McCoys. After the game was completed, the band continued playing Hang On Sloopy as they marched out of Ohio Stadium, ending another Ohio State game in classic fashion. Overall, it was a true joy to visit Ohio Stadium and watch the Buckeyes play football in primetime. Long been a To-Do List sports goal of mine, sitting beside 105,000 fans rooting for Ohio State was an indescribable feeling that every college football fan should experience. Thanks for having me Buckeyes.

I had been to plenty of events when it was the MLS Crew's home field. I personally do not think this is prime real estate for a festival. I parked at a garage at Columbus State and took a shuttle. The drop off area was still a bit of a walk from there to check in and go in. Some of sound was not great for a few of the stages. Some video was spotty too. Only one free water refill station. Thankful for that, but only one area? On a positive note, the bathrooms in the stadium section were clean and operational. I get it, this isn't the main stadium for the soccer team anymore, but things still take place here. Keep the sound and video up to snuff. The traffic was a big problem for a lot of people, planning on the facility, city and promoter have to be more in sync for a better rating if I am to return in future years.

We breezed through security, grabbed merch quickly, and were actually impressed by how smoothly things seemed to be running. But it all went downhill fast. Gigi opened and performed four songs before being pulled from the stage. Moments later, an announcement came over the speakers citing severe weather, instructing people to either shelter in place (with barely any room to do so) or return to their vehicles. We -- along with hundreds of others -- stood packed in the concourse for nearly two hours with zero direction or updates. Rain poured in through the bleachers, soaking people despite wearing ponchos. All the booths and stands were closed, so there was no access to water or anything else. It was uncomfortable, poorly managed, and honestly felt unsafe. Around 9:30 PM, with still no new information, we made the call to leave. We headed back to our car, only to get stuck in gridlock traffic trying to exit the lot -- for nearly an hour. No one was directing traffic or managing flow. Then, suddenly at 10:15 PM, they posted an announcement saying the venue was reopening. What followed was a total mess -- cars trying to leave clashing with fans trying to return, people sprinting toward the gates, vehicles weaving around each other recklessly, honking, pulling out in front of each other. It was dangerous, and absolutely no one was coordinating anything. We ultimately decided to continue leaving -- even though lightning was still visible and it was raining -- because we had already waited so long, and the whole experience had become incredibly frustrating. If they were going to let the show resume in those conditions, it should've happened an hour earlier instead of stringing people along with "lightning delay" messages. This venue was completely unprepared and unprofessional. The lack of communication and crowd control was unacceptable. I'm heartbroken to have missed seeing one of my favorite artists because of the disorganization, and I know thousands of others are feeling the same way. I won't be returning to this venue -- no matter who's playing. Truly one of the worst concert experiences I've ever had.

(which is understandable) I've seen many concerts at St. John Arena as well, and there really is not a bad seat in the house, based upon the seating arrangements. The most popular event still held at the arena is the Skull Session, the pep rally before football games. Two hours prior to kickoff of the football game, The Ohio State University Marching Band performs Buckeye favorites, and the players, cheerleaders and coaches speak to the crowd. I really hope that the university does not replace or demolish this wonderful piece of history, in Columbus.
