Waited at the bar for a table to open up and enjoyed a delightful wine. The bartender had options to suggest which was helpful for my friend. My chicken meal was great! I'm watching calories so it was important to me that my low cal meal was tasty and IT WAS! Whatever your server suggests is great! Try everything! I cannot wait to go back

Cute place for dinner. We went at 5pm on a Friday and it was poppin'! An hour long wait for two people. But it was great! The menu had a nice selection of items and everything sounded good. We went with the carbonara and of of their most popular dishes, the Tutto Mare. Both dishes were a good size and yummy! Definitely not the best pasta we have had but much better than other pastas we have had elsewhere. I'd say the best part of our experience was the service and staff. Everyone was so friendly, our waters were always full and we were checked on several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The wait staff was amazing!

I visited on a busy Saturday night where most people were waiting for a table, but we had a reservation for our group and we were able to be seated immediately. The ambience was contemporary and comfortable. Even though the restaurant was full, the noise level was tolerable. I was greeted warmly by the hostess station, and within two minutes of sitting, our server, Kimberly, was already there asking if I needed a drink. She was very attentive throughout my entire visit including filling drinks constantly, asking if we needed anything and bringing a dessert menu at the conclusion of our meal. 4.5 stars on service. I haven't been to this location in many years. The food was a mixed bag for me. I was surprised that the only vegetarian pasta sauce was the Pomodoro because apparently all of the other ones have chicken broth in them. I'm not a big fan of the Pomodoro sauce as it's mostly large chunks of tomato and not very saucy. I would love for the restaurant to add a vegetarian marinara. Complimentary fresh bread with butter is brought to the table and you have the option of doing the olive oil and Parmesan mix. I appreciated that option. The bread was soft, fresh and above average in taste. I started with a side house salad with the house dressing. It's really good, but please know that it's made with iceberg lettuce and the house dressing includes anchovies, in case you're vegetarian. One of my dining companions ordered the fried zucchini sticks, and they were really good. My order was the eggplant Parmesan with a side of pasta with the Pomodoro sauce. I was a little confused why it was served with a wedge of lemon. The portions are large and I will definitely get another meal or two out of mine. The eggplant Parmesan was adequate. It was a little high in sodium for my palate but tolerable. The side pasta with Pomodoro sauce was better than average, but not outstanding. One of my dining companions ordered the margherita pizza and it was so salty that it wasn't edible and she sent it back. The dessert menu looked really good, but we didn't order anything off of it on this visit. They stay very busy on the weekends so maybe it was just an off night.

I went to this place because everyone here claims it's the best place for pizza. I ordered a cheese pizza extra crispy (thinking that they were just going to cook the crust and the dough longer) for pickup. These young kids just burned the cheese without cooking the dough. I told them that they need to cook the dough and the crust longer and not burn the cheese. The young lady tried to give me grief about how "the cheese will bubble anyway if you cook it" if you seriously don't know how to cook a cheese pizza properly, I suggest that these young kids and the cooks just go online and learn how to cook a cheese pizza properly. Also, the cheese tasted like cheap Kraft cheese that you would get from Walmart. Almost like a cheap arcade-style pizza. Please go to Costco or Pizza Hut instead!

Pros: Great restaurant and always busy, which I took as a good sign. Really liked my spaghetti with pomodoro. Our friends got a pizza and it was uber cheesy. Maybe a little too much. Great service, very friendly and always there to refill your drink. Clean bathrooms Cons: but not really a con, make a reservation or you'll be waiting

Great neighborhood Italian restaurant. Prices are extremely reasonable. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. My Pasta Carbonara was swimming in delicious sauce and a very generous amount of bacon. Served very hot and ended up taking home more than half. Highly recommended.

Delicious place to stop for lunch or dinner, I highly recommend the meatballs and the lasagna. The sauce is sweet, the meat is sausage.

I went with a group of 8 for my friends birthday last week and we all had a wonderful time. The birthday girl tried out an empress cocktail and said it was amazing. You cannot go wrong with any of the pasta dishes either--but come hungry, the portions are generous. The lasagna is a major menu highlight. The prices are excellent for what you get and the service was stellar. I highly recommend !

Took my girls to dinner for my birthday. Atmosphere was very nice. Our service was excellent, and the food delicious. I had the pasta carbonara, while my girls had fettuccine Alfredo and baked mostaccioli. The boyfriend had tortellini. First time I have been to this restaurant and we've lived in St. Charles for over 20 years. Will definitely go back and I highly recommend Fratelli's!

When my ordered was delivered, instead of an entree, I received an appetizer. I contacted, Erio's and DoorDash. DoorDash also deserves praise as well! Again, 5 stars and 2 thumbs up is definitely deserved! We came in on a Monday night, and the restaurant was rather busy, even for it being after 7pm. We were seated promptly by the window. The decor in the place is rather plain and, well, dated, but I'll never be picky about what a place looks like in the regard. Is it clean? Yes! Anyway, we had an opportunity to browse the menu before our waiter made it to our table. Mind you, it was a busy place and he was the only waiter, as far as I could figure out, so we were totally fine with a delay. We ordered an appetizer, mozzarella sticks, and we both ordered manicotti, one with red sauce and one with red/white sauce. I also ordered a side salad to try out their house dressing. Our appetizer came out fairly quickly, along with bread and butter. Both were great! I wished the mozzarella sticks were a bit warmer, but that's just me being picky. It wasn't cold by any means. Our manicotti came out pretty quickly. The presentation was very boring and plain: it was served on a plate, not a baking dish like many other places. However, the flavor? On point! It was sooo good. The pasta specifically tasted very fresh and was almost crepe-like in texture. Seriously tasty. The sauces were equally fantastic and not bland or boring at all. We wanted dessert, but we were so full! Next time we are totally doing dessert because I'm all about some tiramisu. It was a great meal and we will definitely be back. Don't sleep on this place and don't judge it based on the outside (a strip mall) or the decor. It's excellent!

Otherwise, this would have been a one-star review. I have a friend that I don't get to see very often, and we like to get together for dinner occasionally. Our go-to place used to be The Cheesecake Factory at Chesterfield Mall, which no longer exists, so we've been looking for a new place that's about a halfway point for both of us. We've tried a few places, but they just didn't grab us enough to make any of them our new meeting place. We tried The Old Spaghetti Factory a few months ago, and we liked it so much that we both felt we had finally found a place we liked well enough to make it our new spot. Then we came back. In the few months since we were last there, they've drastically changed how they operate. Now, you are REQUIRED to purchase a three-course meal, whether you want one or not. ALL entrees come with a mandatory salad and a mandatory scoop of ice cream for dessert, neither of which I had the slightest interest in. Too bad. It's required. I never touched my salad, and when it came time for ice cream, I just asked our waiter not to bring it. I wasn't going to eat it, and it would have been wasted, just like the salad. I don't mind the concept of a three-course meal, because maybe some people want that. I'm just not one of them. I don't like being told what I have to order, whether I want it or not. I fully support having that as an option, but a demand? We won't ever be back.

It was a quieter environment and with the four young kids we had it was nice to have a less hectic environment. Our server did an excellent job handing multiple tabs and making recommendations. Once there was a spinach recall in '08 and upon ordering was informed they didn't have it, so I got up and left (true story). All of that to say my dish on this particular Friday night was superb. Looking forward to the next visit!

Pasta House has a special 5 for $35 (for two people), so since bolognese was one choice, we took advantage. Our app. was toasted ravioli, a St. Louis specialty, then we each chose their Italian salad and of course the signature rolls arrived with the salads. The ravioli, salads, bread and spaghetti bolognese with added meatballs was all up to par, but I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo topped with fried chicken livers (which is what I typically order here). The added chicken livers were $5 and I got quite a few. The trouble is that upon my first cut, I saw that the livers were undercooked. The waitress took my plate back. Shortly thereafter, the manager came out to apologize and state that they would make a new order and put in the front of other orders. They may have done that, but Paul was finished with his pasta before my re-do arrived. I wasn't starving, so I didn't fuss about it. However, we both kind of thought they would at least comp the order of chicken livers. Many restaurants we have eaten at would have even comped the meal. I will say that the re-do pasta looked much better than the original and tasted great. But, I should not have had to wait that long to get my pasta. That is why this is a 3 vs 4 star experience. The ambiance is casual, I love all the black and white pictures and the layout of this Pasta House. I will say that some extra elbow grease on the cleaning aspect would be a positive improvement. Nevertheless, Katlyn did a very good job as our server and we left quite full.
