Not pleased with the way Kevin's P&H (Schlatter's P&H) does business. They get you into a…read moreMaintenance plan but the cost is higher than if you just call them out for service. Then you don't get a paper bill, but something sent via a text message to you phone, but they email a list of what the tec did (checklist). I have to play with my cell phone to get a total for the bill, not easy for a senior citizen. Most likely won't call them again, as their membership only entitles you to a 5% discount on parts, which they take with them so you can't research how much they marked up the price. On a positive note the tec did roll up the hose after he was done washing out the condenser unit.

Hired them to rough-in a toilet. They didn't check the rough-in dimensions and put it in the wrong…read moreplace. They would not come back the same day to fix it. Had to wait 3 days. When the guy was almost done fixing his screw-up, I checked on his progress and found him about to leave without fixing the first hole in the floor. I asked him what he was going to do about it and he stated that his boss said to leave it go since it would be under the toilet anyway. I stated that, it was not acceptable to leave a 3 inch diameter hole in my floor. He said he had no wood on his truck to fix the hole and would be back later in the day to fix it. He did show up later in the day but after he left, I was shocked to find that all he did was wedge the the original round wood plug back in the hole a lay the carpet piece back over it. He did not bother to seal the gaps or glue the carpet back. Both times the guy was here, he did not clean up his mess, left both of our back doors open, and did not let us know he was done or ask if we were satisfied with the job. The water line for the toilet was not installed straight. It come up through the floor crooked. Basically; shoddy workmanship and poor customer service. We should have listened to some of our friends who said not to hire them. We won't again!

We had water pouring through our ceiling after Jordan did the plumbing for our tub with his son. Our contract stated that he was to come back out to install the plumbing once we worked our way through the project. Once our kids took a bath in the tub, water started pouring through the ceiling and he would not take responsibility. He blamed it on the fact that there were other contractors involved, although the other contractors never touched the tub or the work that he did. He came back out and "fixed the issue" taking no responsibility and paying for not a dime of his mistake. Only for us to patch up the ceiling and it to happen a month later. The issue was a three dollar BEVELED gasket for the overflow drain that he didn't install from the start. It is heartbreaking to go through this as a family when we are saving money to do projects like this-let alone the additional stress of it all. We tried to handle with Jordan and he completely ghosted us-after calling and texting him several times over 6 months-we gave up. A truly heartbreaking situation.

I've been using the same plumber for 13 years, but I'll probably be switching to Peacock plumbing going forward because of how good of an experience it was. Update: I had Peacock Plumbing out for a quote on a water heater replacement. Not only did they have the best price out of all the quotes I received, they were able to replace it same day and with no issues even though the water heater was located in a very confined space behind our furnace. I literally had other companies say they would probably have to tear down a wall to get to it, and yet it wasn't a problem for Peacock Plumbing. So not only did they save me money by having the best price, they saved me money on not having to fix a wall upon completion! The service is absolutely the best service I've ever experienced from a company. Knowledgeable, personable, friendly and thorough I can't recommend this company enough. They even took the time to clean up and straighten up after the job. The area looks far better than before the work started. Absolute 10/10 service.
