So I've been here twice and love it. Yes, it looks dingy from the outside. Yes, it is very old school where it appears they still use CD's and laser discs to load the songs. You have to actually look up songs in a binder and take it out to the guy at the counter on a piece of paper in order for him to load the songs for you. It may seem cumbersome but I didn't mind it at all. It is sort of nostalgic to go to this place... I remember going to karaoke when I was a lot younger and it brings back so many memories. The videos played on the screen is hilarious... they're from the 80's and 90's and some love songs played looked like it was trying to be old school porn. But it's funny! If you come here with an attitude thinking it's behind in it's times, you won't enjoy it. The room was spacious enough for us to enjoy singing, dancing, eating and drinking! What more could you ask for? I thought the price was reasonable, too. Mics worked great, sound system was fine, air conditioner was on full blast and we had no issues with having the songs keep flowing. If you want to end a song for whatever reason, you just holler at the guy at the counter. There's a huge selection of songs. The best part about this place? BYOB! Bring your food, too! No restrictions, just bring it all and they supply you with a cooler full of ice. They also have a big table available depending on what type of room for your food and goodies. Just note that the guy at the counter is not the friendliest... but hey, you won't deal with him so much. We had a blast and will definitely be back again.

Booked a work gathering here for a Saturday night and it was a hit! So great for team building! Our room (no. 8) was clean with comfy chairs and couches, able to accommodate up to 25 but I'd say it fits 20 comfortably. We booked for 6:30-9:30pm and were having so much fun we extended another hour - you can do that if there's no other group booked after you. We were allowed to come in and set up at 6pm. Total for the four hours ended up at about $550 before tip. Things to know: - You will be asked when booking whether you're 40 or older. This family owned business has been around for decades and they've learned what works best for them. You can have guests of any age but whoever books should be 40 years+. - 50% deposit required to book. They have different rooms for small and large parties - You bring your own food and drinks, including alcohol, and they provide coolers and ice. They do sell some drinks like water and sodas but not in great quantities. - Select as many songs as you want - no charge per song. There are binders of songs arranged by artist and title (mostly older songs), one for Hawaiian and International, and one for songs from 2020 and up so don't miss that one! - They have slips of paper and pens on the coffee tables (forms are color coded to each room). You write down the song code (if there's more than 1 option, choose the second or third, we found the first ones to be funky) and part of the song title, then bring the paper to the front counter. - Ample parking in the front and back.

Good things about this place: Songs listed multiple different ways (by artists, song name, country, hawaiian, 2019 hits, etc.) making it easy to look for that one song you love. Love the AC in the individual rooms. Love the accomodities (tables, coolers, ice, etc.). BYO food, drinks, paper products, etc. which is nice. Clean, single-stall bathrooms. * Had a lot of fun with my family celebrating a birthday with yummy food and tons of singing for 4x hours * Downfalls: When you write the songs you want on the papers provided and put them in the bin in the main lobby to be played: (1) there's nowhere on the paper to write what room to send your songs (2) the songs you pick arn't played in order of submission (3) not all the songs will be played. We wrote down maybe 80+ songs and maybe only 50+ were actually played. Leaves you waiting for your jam, boo!

Bringing some family and friends together for singing and dancing is a great way to kick a farewell celebration up a notch. That's exactly what we did! We have not sang our hearts out in days or months. Grateful for free parking in front or behind HMC Karaoke. Another alternative is Firestone parking lot next to HMC Karaoke. Room 8 is a huge room where you can fit a big grad party. We're given Room 9 which can comfortably fit 25+ peeps. My CIL coordinated with HMC Staff in securing 3 coolers for BYOB, 2 jugs to temporarily hold ice cubes, 3 chafing dishes with 3 sternos to keep entrees warm for free. You're more than welcome to BYOF, BYOD, paper goods, and cutlery. We're trying to find the remote on how to digitally add songs after looking for it in various colored binders. No remotes to be found. Discovered mini pink song request forms with pens, figured out we have to write title of songs on request form, step outside of room and place it in clear Songs Request holder at front desk, then return to the room. Although, we found this method old school and time consuming, pros were we didn't run into any problems or mix-ups with songs requested. In some aspects, better to have HMC Staff work out technicalities of playing songs rather than having our greasy hands from eating finger foods all over buttons or digital keys. Restroom located across from Room 8 and Room 9. One entrance and exit was made for small built or petite. Kind of felt some claustrophobia just getting in and out one door. One sink and two stalls. Restroom is tiny. I'm not kidding! Overall, we had ample space to set-up food and munchies on left and drinks on the right. We couldn't hear huge grad party next door in Room 8. Room 9 worked for us. $75 per hour. Able to rent the room for a few hours. Gather a large group, then everyone can pitch in for costs and sing away.

We celebrated my daughter's 16th bday here & had a blast!! I was a little worried to have a bunch of teenagers that may not sing so HMC recommended having it late afternoon instead of night to take advantage of the cheaper rate. A room for 15 ppl was $35/hr. Reserved 4 hours so that we had a good hour to eat and let the kids warm up to singing. Boy was I surprised. We opened the food submitted a few songs hoping they would sing along and they took over. Non stop singing. The songs came in consistently. We never had to wait. Definitely got our monies worth. The staff was very accommodating. They provided 2 warmers, a cooler, juice cooler and ice!! All were set up as soon as we arrived. We were allowed to bring our own food, drinks (alcohol was welcome but we chose to keep it PG) and cake. In total I spent about $350 for the venue & food for 15 ppl. I'd day it was a success. Thank you HMC for making Chica's 16th Bday a memorable one!!

The vibe was great, and the owners, Hannah and Jason, are seriously the best--such genuine, wonderful people. They took great care of us and helped make the night one we'll never forget. A gem hidden in plain sight…read more My friends and I spontaneously wanted to sing karaoke on a Saturday night. I obviously didn't plan this lol So we called a few places and I remembered seeing Hawaii Voice on the news and I was always inteigued about the experience of this place. We called and they could accommodate us right away. We headed there and they had the beautiful room all ready to go. The room was huge and clean! Decorations were colorful and bright. The couches were very comfortable and clean. The TVs were HUGE! They were the biggest screens I've ever had for karaoke. The system has plenty of features, and for some, it may be "too much". They offer they're own karaoke catalog system, an older karaoke system (no videos, just lyrics), and YouTube was also integrated. One of the karaoke systems was cool cause you could see the music videos and can sing along. The only thing we noticed for some songs, the synchronization of music and lyrics were off so just make sure you know the song, otherwise, you're gonna be a beat behind. Also, the YouTube system didn't allow ANY song to be sung. The system didn't support some well-known karaoke channels because of the video formats. Lastly, the choice of Japanese songs was bare, but that's not really a problem if you don't sing Japanese songs. They have drinks and food, but we only ordered drinks because we already ate...and we like alcohol. They had a fairly good selection for hards and beers. Sorry, I cannot give an opinion on food. Staff is awesome. We met the owner and he treated us so well. To squeeze us in on a Saturday was a treat, and also a lesson to us on better planning (well, my friends, not me because this wouldn't have happened lol). If you wanna sing karaoke with friends and let out some energy, give this place a try! It's beautiful and will make any karaoke experience fun!

It's in the industrial area and at night there is lots of street parking. The Aloha room upstairs is their largest room fitting maybe 50-60 people. I only had about 25 because I wanted to have a lot of extra room. It was very clean and comfortable. There was an attached food room which was perfect to keep our snacks in and set up a balloon arch photo area. There is also an adjoining room (I think it's the Ohana room) that can connect through the food room if you need a bigger space. The karaoke system was ok. Not the greatest but still good. All the mics were on the same channel so the volume couldn't be adjusted separately. One plugged in mic was loud and the 2 wireless were kinda soft. The song selection was decent but there were a few songs I wanted to sing that they didn't have. Some of the song numbers were also wrong in some of the books but were found in another book. Sadly they don't have a website anymore as they get mixed up with another karaoke joint. They used to have one and it showed all the different rooms they offer, so hopefully they get it back up again. Their main advertisement is little posters I've seen around the neighborhood and by word of mouth.

I actually had no idea that they had karaoke here-- I thought it was just a Korean restaurant, but the "Báng" here I am guessing corresponds to 방 in 노래방. We ordered the Seafood Pancake, Old-Fashioned KFC (Korean fried chicken), Mochiko Chicken, Jja Jang Ramen, and Cream Kimchi Udon for food. All were tasty and paired well with whatever drinks we ordered, which included flavored soju. Servers were quick to check in on us and bring our orders. The mechanic of karaoke here is that you pay for each song, which forces one to be more intentional with singing, but at the same time makes on less stressed about cramming in music within a set amount of time. I left before the rest of my group did, but it was the perfect venue for them to say goodbye to each other and share a moment as friends.

Strangely I had issues finding Disney songs. Maybe it's a licensing thing or just that room? Plenty of alternative songs and classics. The fried chicken wings were delicious- I've tried a handful of them. Garlic is a little too garlic (girlfriend destroyer). Spicy is good. Spicy shoyu is good. Honey one was super good. Their oden soup was really good. And their tacos were actually not bad- a little odd with some flavors but they were overall good. Fried mandoo slaps. I haven't really been disappointed by the food yet. Hope that stays true. Service was good- the staff make rounds every so often and kept our water and drinks filled. The staff remember me and always greet me warmly. I always feel like I'm attended to. Cons: It can get busy. Service lags when it's busy. The bathrooms are small. The men's bathroom stall is for smaller people. I had to use the toilet once and maneuvering in the stall was challenging to say the least. There was always enough hand towels. I'll be back!
