The space was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our event. Kylee was incredibly attentive and welcoming. We appreciated being able to bring in catered food, and everyone loved the delicious drinks from the bar. I am unsure why the rating is quite low here, as we had a positive experience. Granted, I went for the Yelp elite event which gave us a free hour of karaoke and one free drink up to $10 for me, but my review is based on the overall experience and price based on if I paid full price for everything. $40/hr for a small room of up to 5 people is quite competitive and one of the lower priced ones in the area, and the sound quality and cleanliness of the room are pretty good. For the event, they required one drink minimum per person which was easy to reach, plus the drinks are reasonably priced to at most $12 per drink. The $12 ones we got were super strong, like Tokyo Tea, but the free $10 one (lychee martini) was a bit too sweet and wasn't as strong. We arrived a few minutes late so reasonably they still had to end our session at the original time, but there was a malfunction in the karaoke machine. It took 15 minutes but they credited 15 minutes so we still got to enjoy about an hour of karaoke. However, as they are slammed, they never kicked us out after the hour was over, so we left and notified them and the appreciated our honesty. Overall, I can see this to be a very viable karaoke option, and according to my Honolulu friends, is one of the better value ones for quality out here. read more

We got to check out Air Park Karaoke Lounge thanks to Yelp! It was lots of fun! We made a reservation to be there on a Sunday at 6pm, for 9 people. Kylee was super quick in letting us know our reservation was confirmed! She was also super helpful and friendly when we go there too! The karaoke system is super easy to use and there are so many functions that other places don't have. We were only going to stay for an hour but ended up there for 3! Thankfully, the hourly room rates are not just super reasonable, but they also offer kama'aina discounts on Sundays and Thursdays too! Super fun time, friendly, and awesome prices. We didn't get to get any food this time around, but definitely next time, because there will be a next time. I highly recommend Air Park for your next karaoke party. read more

I came here on two different occasions, one being for my birthday week, and another for my friend's birthday week. (Lesson in all of this: come here to celebrate your birthday!) We had great friendly service here. You can order from their food and drinks menu, but they also let you order food delivery from outside which is really nice. Their karaoke setup has a song database, but you can also connect to YouTube, so the sky is the limit for what you can sing. I had a blast singing here. They have a mandatory one drink purchase per person policy, which is not unheard of but is something to be aware of if you want to sing here. Big mahalo to Yelp for allowing me to experience this fun night of karaoke with friends! Air Park is nice place, located on the second floor of a building across from the shopping center on Piikoi St. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. There is parking in back and free metered parking on the street after 6pm. My drink was comped by Yelp and the rest of our group had a one drink minimum. Prices are about the same as other places. Couple of things that prevented it from becoming a five star experience. One is the song selection. More oldies and local songs would have been nice. Second, you cannot bring in your own water bottle. Other places will let you and this usually makes us stay longer. The sound system was decent. Also, they're very helpful and responsive if you're having technical problems. Overall, it was an enjoyable time for all! read more

I was visiting the island and brought some friends to air park because I used to frequent when I lived nearby. I've always had good experiences there -- the staff was usually chill, and we enjoyed hanging out in the lobby or a private room. This time was different. The bartender (pictured) was extremely rude and misinformed about ID laws. When we arrived, we asked about a room. She checked availability and was ready to book it, but I said we'd wait for the rest of our group (six total) to arrive before deciding, and that we'd order drinks in the meantime. She asked again with an attitude, and I repeated myself. Then she asked for my ID. I said I just wanted a soda and explained my wallet had been stolen, but I had my passport. She refused, claiming she couldn't serve me anything -- even a soda -- without a physical ID. I pointed out that a passport is an ID, but she just shook her head. This never happened before -- I've only been asked for ID in the past when running a tab. She said if the liquor commission came in, they could get shut down. I backed off, and my friends, all there now, debated whether to stay. Meanwhile, I saw a worker seat a group of very young people in a room without carding anyone. We left but returned a few hours later. I went straight to the karaoke machine, not ordering anything. A different staff member told me I couldn't be in the venue at all without an ID. I said I wasn't drinking, but she insisted it was the law. That's not true -- checking ID is legally required only for alcohol purchases. Barring entry is their policy, not the law, and no one was checking IDs at the door. I was very disappointed both of the employees that I interacted with that night, I've been served by before. I can probably brush it off as ignorance and a one time situation, but my friends, all of who live on Oahu, and have never been there before are the ones who got the really bad impression. read more

Been coming to Air Park and relying on Air Park since 2014 as my go-to karaoke place and it still is in 2024....dang 10 years. I first started coming here when I was 17 and I couldn't stay past 9 because I was underage LOL. Well, that has got to show you how great this place is for karaoke! It's stood the test of time and even the blip that happened in 2020. In short, Air Park is the go-to for karaoke and I would encourage you go see for yourself why. My most recent trip to AirPark has been my favorite, but I do have one complaint, I'll get to that part. But first, one of my favorite parts about Air Park is the open karaoke lobby area. My friend told me it's a $15 minimum per person if you're just gonna chill which is perfect for a small group like us. We were a group of three and we wanted a private room but we couldn't get the numbers up and our friends couldn't guarantee if they could come so we didn't want to risk reserving a room but people don't come, so lobby karaoke it is! Surprisingly enough, for a Saturday night, nobody came and joined us. Sorry to the bartender, but I hope we made your night entertaining! It was just the three of us jamming to classics and letting out our teenage angst. With that being said, I was disappointed the playlist wasn't updated. As of January 6th the best way I could describe the playlist is pop jams up to the time of Miley Cyrus's "Flowers" song but not "Used to be Young;" and missing top K-Pop, hope that makes sense. If I could make some suggestions to Air Park of songs to add to your karaoke list: - BTS's solo debut songs (I would have loved jamming out to Seven, Flowerwork, Equal Sign, or Hate U) - Cupid by FiFTYFiFTY, Stray Kids 24 to 25 (or any!) - Shut up and Dance (okay this is a personal preference, this is my hype song) - Kolohe Kai (I begged the machine if I could jam to Ehu Girl) - All Star by Smash Mouth (Why did you get rid of that?! It's a classic!) Are these missing songs gonna stop me from going to AirPark? No...but I really do hope they get added soon for my friends birthday in February! Very limited bar, like most Karaoke only spots. . They don't supply napkins with drinks so if you spill anything,you're out of luck, so come prepared. Service is so so, slow to respond but eventually. It's not that big, only 8 rooms. Only one bathroom stall per gender. There's always a line even when it's slow, especially when they only open one bathroom for everyone. Pretty gross since it's the men's room. Plus, no seat covers in the holder! That alone is negative 3 stars. Parking is full even on a slow night, so that's another issue. Finding parking. I really can't understand the 5 star reviews. It's a small hole in the wall place. The rooms are nice, different sizes for groups. The karaoke machine isn't the most user friendly. First room couldn't play anything but Korean so we had to change, that took 20 minutes to solve that issue. You can't search by name of song, only artist on the screen, which is more time consuming, having to look it up elsewhere. Much better elsewhere. I was looking for a karaoke place to have a get together for my daughters 15th birthday. After calling HMC and speaking to a rude man on the phone I continued to look around. I came across Air Park online and decided to reach out via email. I received a response the same day. I was told that they were limiting gatherings to 10 people do to the state mandate and we would be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test for entry. I called to ask some additional questions and was helped by Nalei. She was very polite and patiently answered all of my questions. After speaking with Nalei I received a call from manager Kiko. He told me that he would be willing to come in at 5 to accommodate us even though they don't open until 6. He also let me know that there was a 1 drink per person purchase requirement and that we are not allowed to bring any of our own beverages but we could bring our own food. I was grateful to have found a place but bummed by the 10 people max especially paying $60 an hour, but I understood and was thrilled to hear that I had my choice of rooms. When we arrived I was brought to a room and told that it could hold up to 25 people. I thought it would be pretty cramped with 25 people and was grateful that there were only 9 of us at that point. We had a wonderful time! The room was very clean and mic covers were provided. One down side is that there is only 1 place to program the songs and it was right by where the TV was hanging so sometimes when someone went over to program a song they would block the TV since it was hanging down rather low. There was one thing that bothered me but I didn't make a big deal about it because the manager Kiko was kind enough to come in an hour early but when we pull up the menu to look at the drinks the first thing that popped up was a coupon for 25% off room rentals on Thursdays and Sundays but I was never offered the discount. I probably should have mentioned it since I ended up spending over $300 but I didn't. A few more things to mention: The location is on the 2nd floor and the building has no elevator. There is no visible signage from the main street. Restrooms were clean but can be inconvenient if it is busy as it is a single stall. 18% gratuity is added to the check total. Other than that staff was very friendly, rooms were kept in great condition and if you like karaoke I reccomend checking them out. read more

We were able to find out mandarin songs from the 90s and some recent ones. The kids also sang some new songs. Minimum is one drink per person. they open at 6:00pm.
