Super sweet and her office is very warm and welcoming. As a young woman (early 20s), I struggle to…read morefind doctors who take me seriously, but Dr. Cano listens to everything I have to say, and is super thorough with her tests. A lot of doctors brush me and my issues off due to my young age, but any potential problem you might have, she is very on top of and wants to figure out the cause. Regarding waiting- I came about 20 minutes early to both my appointments and she took me in early with no problem. Overall a super nice and competent doc!

Dr Cano is a delight to work with! She has gotten me in for appts quickly and does not make me wait…read moremore than 15-20 mins if at all. And guess what? If I did have to wait, I would understand or reschedule. I see from other reviews that people are mixed on her demeanor and use of testing. I personally like that she is direct and to the point, gives clear recommendations and will run the tests you want to rule out things you are worried about (genetic predisposition to certain diseases, symptoms, etc). Given that she is easy to get into see and takes insurance which is rare in this day and age for good doctor, I am thrilled I found her and tell people about her. Doctors are business people too. In this country, f they cannot run their business, they will be out of business and not be able to help people. So yes, the good ones have developed relationships with other practitioners over time. For me this was INVALUABLE when I had a crisis that seemed like frozen shoulder and though I see her as my neurologist, she replied to my email immediately when I reached out for a referral so I could see an ortho and not have to wait 6 weeks in pain. She got me in for an MRI that very day, got me meds that I needed and I was out of pain in four hours with something I could've been dealing with for six months to a year. I ended up resolving the shoulder with my acupuncturist-chiro within days and following up with an ortho thru my insurance in a week. Her contact at the imaging center was kind enough to take my MRI cd to the ortho I had found on my own because I was working and could not run to get it in time!!!! That is the power of knowing other professionals! I was on the meds for just three days and she only wrote the prescription for a 7 day supply. I know she doesn't want people to be on meds but will Rx when needed. I was astounded in how helpful she was when I emailed her. She replies to emails within 5 to 15 mins. And if she did not, I would be okay with that. I had to go on blood pressure medication (only after she had me track it for 2 weeks) because of what turned out to be that I was having small Lacunar strokes (visible on my MRI) while I slept due to sleep apnea un-diagnosed and when I changed my job and my blood pressure went down we kept reducing medication and I don't need it anymore. She does not want her patients to be on meds. She's happy I am not on any; she said so herself when I saw her the other day. She did do extensive blood work so we could rule anything bad. For me I was fortunate that most of her visits and testing was covered by insurance. If a person did not have good insurance I could see being leery of her. She is direct and to the point. If you are getting scary test results and she is super direct, it could be disconcerting. She really cares for her patients but she is clearly not everyone's cup of tea and that is okay!

Dr. Csuka is the Doctor's doctor. My husband and I signed on with him immediately. Although my husband is healthy, we are aging and he wanted the security of knowing Dr. Csuka would always be there for us. I am able to contact him, by text, E-mail, thru his Portal and by phone. He responds immediately, and if busy sends a text saying he will respond soon. He is meticulous, kind, & attentive. When we visit, he makes me feel like I am his only patient. If I need a Rx re-fill, it is processed immediately, and a note is sent that it has been done. One less thing to worry about. I have a rare and painful condition due to spine issues. Dr. Csuka read everything he could find about it and then contacted the writers of the articles to find out how he could find help for me. He leaves no stone unturned. When I had a procedure that ended up being traumatizing, he suggested I listen to Meditations and positive Affirmations. He treats body & mind. These suggestions were helpful. I learnt to stay in the present, let the past go and look positively into the future. I no longer lay awake at night with painful thoughts racing through my head. I sleep better & feel better. At 8:00 one evening, Dr. Csuka called. He had prescribed a new medication for pain and had not heard how I was tolerating it. He said "Hi, Dr. Csuka here, I was thinking about you, and wanted to know how you were doing on the new drug" Wow! This was unique and amazing as he is. I have never had a Dr. contact me like this. Dr. Csuka remains in charge of my health, I am grateful for his care. One of the most important things Dr. Csuka gave me was HOPE! Joyce
