Best doctor around!!! My mom had her uterus removed years ago, so now when she uses the restroom she has to use a catheter. She struggles sometimes using that which leads to her having constant UTI's where she is in unbearable pain. When that happens, we have to take her to either Urgent Care or ER just to get her prescribed antibiotics which will take hours to wait. In this situation we were out of town, but had such a wonderful experience in this office. Dr. Young & his staff was so helpful & catering to my mom & I. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Young! I went to family Dr then visited Dermatologist Dr, but my skin infection never heal. I'm very new to the direct primary care space and so it's all been a bit of a learning curve... but I wouldn't have it any other way! It's so much more convenient, quick, and personalized to have a DPC provider. That said, I can't recommend Dr. Young enough. It's not often you'll find a provider who is the right combination of intelligent and personable. You usually only get one or the other. Not only does he know what he's talking about, but also he makes everything super easy to understand. It feels like he's genuinely very passionate about medicine and actually cares about his patients. He's never made me feel like any question I wanted to ask was stupid. Also, typically I pick providers who are female because, well, as a young female I tend to feel safer that way. I decided to take a chance on Dr. Young because of the good reviews everywhere on google and I'm glad I did! Not once have I felt unsafe in his care. Starting in March of 2024 I was looking for a new primary care doctor and decided to go with Dr. Young through his direct primary care practice. I could not be happier with the decision! Dr. Young is empathetic, understanding, really listens to me, and guides me to make the best decisions for my health and wellness. I am currently waiting for a kidney transplant and dealing with the entire process on my own was very difficult and exhausting. Thankfully as soon as Dr. Young was aware that I was sent to the hospital for kidney failure (I was working with a different specialist doctor at first) he has gone above and beyond, and has not only been an amazing doctor but also worked as my advocate with the transplant program. I don't think I would even have had my initial meeting scheduled yet if he hadn't taken the initiative to advocate for me with the transplant doctors and team. He also would come visit me to check up on me in the dialysis clinic, and the nurses told me that is the first time they had seen a primary care doctor come visit a patient in the clinic. I never even had to ask him to visit, he was proactive and came to my aid and made sure I was well taken care of. Together we are working on getting my general health in a good place as well as keeping me healthy and ready for my transplant whenever that can happen. I am so thankful I have Dr. Young in my corner and would recommend him to absolutely anyone. If you are not sure about the direct primary care model I would say you at least owe yourself to try it out with Dr. Young, you will thank yourself in the future. read more
