Great service especially by the bar tender . The food was very flavorful and super hot, the grill marks on the quesadillas were a big plus and never seen that before or had . I'd definitely come back again . Drinks were bad at all either

Food 4/5 - Cali Fish Taco, fish was fried well but battered lacked a bit of seasoning. Felt kind of plain. Diablo Diego Taco, shrimp was well seasoned and had a good sear. Sauce had a good amount of heat and the accompanying slaw provided a good contrast to the shrimp. Korean BBQ Steak Taco, decent steak taco. Had some Asian flavors, and steaks as tender. Slightly sweet. Chips and Guac, good Guac and chips. Guac had a good amount of ingredients and tortilla chips were salted and fried. Street Corn, good Mexican street corn bowl. A little too much mayo, could use more of the elote flavor. Service & Ambiance 4/5 - service was good, staff was attentive. Refilled the free chips and salsa twice and made sure everything was good. Ambiance was great for a date night or just a dinner out with friends. Place had a nice beachy theme.

It's ok. It's an acquired taste. Service is friendly and attentive. It's kinda small but try them out if you like..

Came here with a friend to grab some tacos and I would not come back here again. The only good thing was the Korean pulled pork taco; that was the only thing I would get again if I was in the area. Their Al pastor was not it and it tasted off.. Guac and chips; 3.5/5.. Their chips were a bit stale and I did not enjoy their bland guac :(! Overall; I would try their other items. However, I would stay away from their guac & chips & Al pastor.

Fun atmosphere and fun service! The drinks were pretty good and I liked the salsa and guacamole. However the burrito was really subpar. Rice and meat were overcooked and not a lot of flavor.

It was Taco Tuesday hence I decided to have lunch at this establishment. The atmosphere was laidback. My waiter was personable when I walked in. I asked for a table. Since it was a weekday lunch hour, I was seated immediately. Their taco special was amazing. I loved how fresh the fish was. I highly recommend coming here,

Mac and cheese! Margarita flight! Tacos!

Had a nice experience here! Got lots of good food and drinks! Definitely would recommend

I've wanted to try this place out for awhile. The reviews were great and is nearby to my home; however, when I initially tried two weeks ago, they had no seating and when I inquired with one of the servers, she was very dismissive. With that being said, I decided to take my business elsewhere. Again, I tried this week, but decided I would just do take out. I walked inside and someone took my order, I still had an issue with the attitude of the server, as she told me, after she took my payment, I'd have to wait outside. I understand due to Covid, but she was relatively rude about it. Secondly, I waited outside in the rain for 15-20 minutes while she was chit chatting inside. I only ordered a rice and bean burrito, it shouldn't have taken that long. Lastly, while I was waiting outside I saw another server tell another patron that their seating time was up; again, it's not what she said, it was the sarcastic attitude she had with him. So it's clear the employees here aren't very friendly, I can look past that, if the food was good, but it wasn't. I ordered a rice and bean burrito and hated the rice. The only thing pleasurable thing about my experience, was the plantain chips in the bag. I don't believe I'd return here, I didn't care for the service, not the burrito. There are way too many other place to allow someone to be rude.

Best Taco joint in Brooklyn. If you're at the bar, ask for Sean, he's Bay Ridge's best bartender. Great people, great food.

The fried calamari could've been less oily, as this took away from the crunch; also slightly overcooked. Baked clams were decent. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Pizza was great! They reheated for us, since our group was too busy chatting. Desserts - phenomenal! Drinks- ehh. Brunch menu - French toast was decent. The salmon over hash brown , was lacking a touch of something , couldn't pinpoint what was lacking. Chicken and waffles, decent, wasn't the best I've had. Service- jonathan was our waiter during brunch and also our bartender. He's GREAT! During service dinner, we had a female waitress and I felt she lacked attention to details and couldn't flag her down when we wanted something. Overall, service is a hit or miss , I guess? Additionally, the cocktail options are nicely priced: sangria from $8, cervezas from $5 and mixed drinks from $12. The menu offers traditional Mexican fare; my favorite is the cheese enchiladas with a verde sauce which myself and friend Sally ordered. It is a very filling entree: three enchiladas, yellow rice, salad, beans in a verde sauce. The verde sauce has a nice kick to it. My friend Cathryn ordered chicken enchiladas. They also serve great tortas and my friend Virginia ordered the Chicken torta; hearty sandwich with Chicken Milanese. As an appetizer, we ordered the always fresh and delicious guacamole and Totopos. The cocktails were flowing: $5 Coronas with lime, Rainbow Margaritas, Sangria and a Rye Smash. The music selections are always great and had us bopping as we dined. Service is always on point and professional. There is a backyard for Al fresco dining. Coszcal de Allende has been an outstanding Mexican restaurant I have dined at for @20 years. No snickering. This is largely because of the sweet customer service. A three star review for more…read morelike two star quality. It is not saying much for a city that really lacks in Mexican cuisine. To say I did not give this restaurant a fair shake is like saying I only went to an ice cream shop and only ordered the cone. I went all out there, which is maybe why I received the service I received, or maybe it is because I sat next to what appeared to be my server's children. Whatever the case, I was treated well here. Onto the food. The Sopa Azteca (their tortilla soup) is a nice change from what I had at a previous Mexican restaurant. I would like the portion to be bigger and more meat in it, but I like the Mexican spices and the variety here. It is quite enjoyable. The Queso Fundido should be called a Queso No Divertido. It was awful to eat, with lousy flavor and texture. This is the second time I have struck out with this appetizer. It is safe to say I am done ordering it in this city. Nobody does it right. The Paella is nice, but at its core has the essence of a nice dish. Some parts are full of tremendous flavor, and some parts are dry and bland. I ate this all out of necessity, and also because once I mixed the bland with the good it actually turned into something quite pleasant. The chicken enchiladas I ordered because it would not be fair to come here and pass up something Tex-Mex as an entree. The chicken is inconsistent, well cooked in some spots, dry in others. The salsa verde has a lot of kick here, but the side salad and charro beans nearly ruin the whole thing. At least the Mexican rice is fluffy and has great flavor. Speaking Spanish to the staff helped curry points in the service department. I like family owned businesses. Everybody was busy and on point. So what if the food does not wow, I have given more, for less. Hence why this is a three star review and not a two star review.

The waitress her name was Jennifer, she was very nice and accommodating. I didn't experience any attitude or rudeness from any of the staff which was good. My only complaint is that she didn't write down our order which in turn got our food all wrong. I ordered the burger well done, my chick ordered hers medium. Well I ended up with the medium and she got the well done. We wanted cheddar cheese, well we both got swiss. We wanted truffle fries and we both ended up with regular fries. So yeah this pretty much goes down to not writing exactly what we wanted and us getting whatever food they felt like giving us. I would recommend next time to please write down customers orders so that the paying customer gets exactly what he's paying for. I will say again the food was very good but they screwed up the orders. Will I go back, I don't know but I hope in future they write orders down so this doesn't happen to anyone else.
