Great service, lunch specials, food! I love their Bun (Noodle Salad)-very fresh ingredients and tastes like a slice from Viet Nam.

Hot and Spicy Chicken with egg roll

First time here. Ordered the lunch special of Hot & Spicy Chicken w/ egg roll. Nice ambiance with lots of natural light. Service was excellent. The food was very good and the egg roll was great! Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Soooo good. Honestly I missed the pho in Minnesota. We have some options in ABQ where we currently live as well but I don't think it's as good as the options here in MN. The spring rolls were much better as well. As always, pretty reasonably priced flavorful broth for the pho. Very clean interior and wonderful service. We didn't specify that my partner has peanut allergies so when we got his dish with peanuts on it we felt bad but they very gladly substituted it quickly. We were so grateful for that!! Will come again someday when we're back home next time.

Came back for dinner and we had the prefixed family dinner for 6. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was great and we enjoyed the freshness of the veggies. The hot and sour soup was tasty and I wish there could have been more fillets of cat fish then just one small piece. The salted prawns were crunchy and tasty. The lemongrass chicken had a little spice to it but the kids were still able to eat it with the rice. The squid in the pineapple sauce was a little off and I can't tell if it's old or spoiled. The fried fish with sweet good sauce was delicious. Would have love to have an appetizer in the family dinner instead of a plate of herbs and veggies. Otherwise, the meal was delicious and I didn't have to cook! Will definitely come back for more of their weekend menu.

My partner and I walked in and the first thing we noticed is that we were the only Asian guests and we knew then that this was not the place but we decided to give it a try anyways. BOY OH BOY- we should have trusted our guts because we were definitely disappointed- with the food, service and most importantly ourselves! I really wished it proved us wrong! I got the chicken pho while my partner got the hot and spicy shrimp. We shared shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls were really loose and the sauce was very watered down. The pho was flavorless, pretty much just hot water and there is limited condiments- I'm sorry my fellow pho fans but there was no fish sauce or chill oil, which was like basic needed pho condiments for me. Also the mini slice of lime I got for my pho was going bad- it was browning in the side- made me question freshness. The hot and spicy shrimp was honestly the star of the show- although it wasn't spicy it was full with flavor! I don't know if I would be back but I did notice weekend menus with many traditional weekend dishes that I may check out in the future in IDK a year from now. Now for the service- it was quick but unfriendly and I definitely felt pushed to eat and pay...even when it wasn't busy.

Stopped by before a work event and ordered one of my default order, Pho Special. Servers were friendly and the service was fast. It only took ten minutes to order and receive my food. I was a little disappointed with the portion size, which is on the smaller end of the scale; however, the pho itself did not disappoint me. The broth was well seasoned. I drank almost all of the broth, which was rare. The garnishments were healthy looking and fresh. I took my time to taste and enjoyed every bite. If you didn't already know, the meatballs are made in-house. The textures were bumpy and looked homemade. I got my source straight from the staff member before I left. They were good. Even though there was no chili oil on the table, the jalapeño was spicy and made up for it. Would go back for pho again.

We were here again for the umpteenth time. (We go here a lot). The food was good as always. I had a bowl of hot sour seafood soup. It was not as good as regular pho but ample amount to take some home. Our biggest problem this time was the wait. Usually they are prompt with the service but not on a Saturday night. We had planned on just dropping in for a bite then going out to visit friends. We ended up being here for almost an hour and a half. Excessive time especially when I was trying to get somewhere else for the evening.

Proteins all served at correct doneness in the Pho Dac Biet so you get the tougher cuts well done and rendered and the thin steak raw so it cooks in the broth. Great side accompaniments, Thai basil still on the stalk and living, fresh bean sprouts, Sri Racha and chiles in oil depending on your tastes, squirt bottle of hoisin. The only tiny nitpick I have is I wish they had bigger spoons available for those of us who like to mix sauces and soup in the spoon instead of muddying up the bowl. Also Vietnamese coffee is prepared old fashioned, not in a boba cup where you can't tell if it was made just now or weeks ago. Great service. This is a tiny little joint which is exactly what you expect from a world class Pho place.

We were able to find free street parking nearby, because of parking lot renovations. As soon as we sat down, our waitress made sure we had everything we needed, including chili oil and sriracha for us. She checked in on us throughout our meal without being overbearing and made us feel very welcome. Since it was our first visit, we appreciated that we never felt rushed to order and had plenty of time to look over the menu. The pho was really solid. I loved the clear, deep flavorful broth, and the Vietnamese coffee was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Unfortunately, they were out of bánh mì during our visit, but honestly that just gives me another reason to come back. Between the good food and excellent service, I can definitely see why locals love this place. I'd recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a great food and a welcoming dining experience.

However despite what people say I think it is too pricey for the food and service that you get. You go in and take a seat, eat your food, then walk up to the cash register on the left side of the restaurant when you're done. Oh and it's cash only, no check or credit card here. So I had the House Special #2 Pho whoch included beef steak, flank, tripe, and meatball for $13.95. I also ordered a side of egg rolls for $4. And the Bubble tea for about $4. I'm not sure why the price all of thar somehow became $26 which annoyed me that the fees weren't transparent. Pho: 9/10 Solid option and the broth was rich and flavorful, noodles were thin and tasted great. They gave lots of meat and honestly makes the trip here Egg Rolls: 8/10 Crispy and delicious, my obly gripe is that the sauce that I got was kinda mid. Must have just been old sauce because the flavor wasn't there. Bubble Tea: 7/10 More like dessert and a slushie texture so keep thar in mind. The taro is fine but not something I'd go out my way for. Now despite expecting hold in the wall prices, Pho Ca Dao is pricier than expected. I could compare to Lotus which I had a month ago for about the same price but they provided a far larger portion of sides including chicken wings compared to here, not to mention superior service. Overall if you're in the area I guess this works but note there are better Pho options.

I lived in the Houston and Garland Texas area all my life where there is a large vietnamese population... and for the past 5 months, I have just been exploring Minnesota and Wisconsin and Illinois for vietnamese food. This evening... I was just craving pho. lets start with the ambiance. Its a pretty hip place once you get inside. I do like the cultural blend of modern and old school, and you see it with the different type people that come in. The staff there was prompt, and unlike my old school favorite in Richardson Texas... the staff to customer ratio was high. So the service was quick and attentive. Now for the pho. I went with the Dac Biet because I never know sometimes if I will get tough precut preprocessed meats... not in this case. I felt that all the ingrediants were fresh...and catered toward the old school viet palette, which I thank you. I understand a lot of pho house have to stay in business and cater to the local palette but this one was spot on. You can just breath in the right mixture of ingrediants. The bowl was reasonably priced, and the portions were similar to what I am used to having in Houston. It was fantastic as I scarfed it down to quick and forgot to take a picture. However, all the pictures that I have seen associated with this location are accurate. Overall, I would come back here. I am interested in trying their Stone pho next time as th emenu advertisement made it look tasty.

The restaurant was clean, quiet, and welcoming. I also appreciated the simple, thoughtfully curated menu. The mango sticky rice was to die for and the perfect way to end the meal.
