Chicken pho And 1. Pork Egg Rolls

The food was amazing and delicious . The service was amazing as well probably some of the fastest food I got . And the place looked amazing with really nice people

    Raw P3. Beef Pho

Food is decent. Wish the broth had some more flavor, almost tastes watered down. And Portions could be bigger for the cost. This place is on the expensive side. Also to add, I order the beef pho and it came raw. I've experienced this times before at places and have been told that the "hot" broth cooks the meat while it's in the bowl, but it in fact it does not and is still raw. Also ruins broth and taste when you add the meat in there raw. If need to be cooked, they should add cooked beef in there already. A bowl of pho to waste Good chicken wings and egg rolls as all ways. Just wish they paid more attention to detail

Outstanding service and soup!! Last minute decision to get some wonton soup 10 minutes before they closed for the night. My initial thought was that the staff would be upset with a walk in order, however, the customer service was kind and considerate! The wonton soup was made fresh and hot - not greasy at all. My sore throat was instantly soothed with the spices and pure perfection of taste. It was so yummy that I didn't even get a photo of it and managed to eat the entire large $11 bin solo. Woops! Please support this business. I can't wait to come back again to get more food! Lovely experience all around.

Pho was great! Love this place. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. HUGE portion. This bowl was a regular. Couldn't finish it but it was extremely tasty.

This is a cute little restaurant on the edge of Grand Ave. My mom & I were visiting a brownie shop nearby and stopped in here for dinner. Now, we are extremely Scandinavian. My mom barely seasons her food with salt, so it's always a little stressful for her at new Asian restaurants due to the spice level, but I digress. The menus here are quite extensive. Want pho? Sure. Stir fry or chow mein? Done. Thai food? Absolutely. You can have a bland food palette or yearn for something authentic and both can be satisfied here. My mom ordered a chicken stir fry which came with pea pods, broccoli, and bell peppers (and chicken of course) with rice on the side. I ordered shrimp pad Thai. They have all meat options available for every dish (mock duck, tofu, chicken, pork, steak, shrimp and a few others). Shrimp was always the most expensive, with mock duck and tofu being the cheapest. The food was amazing. The pad Thai was different from what I was used to- it was more saucey, which is fine by me, but didn't have the typical crunch of any added peanuts. This was fine, but just an observation. The pad Thai has mild spice but you can always add more. The food was great but I should also note the atmosphere. It's very dim lighting (we arrived around 6:15pm and because this is winter, it was already dark outside) but it was atmospheric, I liked it. I would definitely visit again. I was told their chicken lo mein is the best in the city, so give it a go if you're in the area.

Lunch specials are huge portions and very affordable! I also recommend their combination boat noodles if you like all the meats.

In this day and age, a Vietnamese restaurant that does not have vegan broth for their soups is out of touch. Unfortunately I won't be back.

Proteins all served at correct doneness in the Pho Dac Biet so you get the tougher cuts well done and rendered and the thin steak raw so it cooks in the broth. Great side accompaniments, Thai basil still on the stalk and living, fresh bean sprouts, Sri Racha and chiles in oil depending on your tastes, squirt bottle of hoisin. The only tiny nitpick I have is I wish they had bigger spoons available for those of us who like to mix sauces and soup in the spoon instead of muddying up the bowl. Also Vietnamese coffee is prepared old fashioned, not in a boba cup where you can't tell if it was made just now or weeks ago. Great service. This is a tiny little joint which is exactly what you expect from a world class Pho place.

We were able to find free street parking nearby, because of parking lot renovations. As soon as we sat down, our waitress made sure we had everything we needed, including chili oil and sriracha for us. She checked in on us throughout our meal without being overbearing and made us feel very welcome. Since it was our first visit, we appreciated that we never felt rushed to order and had plenty of time to look over the menu. The pho was really solid. I loved the clear, deep flavorful broth, and the Vietnamese coffee was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Unfortunately, they were out of bánh mì during our visit, but honestly that just gives me another reason to come back. Between the good food and excellent service, I can definitely see why locals love this place. I'd recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a great food and a welcoming dining experience.

However despite what people say I think it is too pricey for the food and service that you get. You go in and take a seat, eat your food, then walk up to the cash register on the left side of the restaurant when you're done. Oh and it's cash only, no check or credit card here. So I had the House Special #2 Pho whoch included beef steak, flank, tripe, and meatball for $13.95. I also ordered a side of egg rolls for $4. And the Bubble tea for about $4. I'm not sure why the price all of thar somehow became $26 which annoyed me that the fees weren't transparent. Pho: 9/10 Solid option and the broth was rich and flavorful, noodles were thin and tasted great. They gave lots of meat and honestly makes the trip here Egg Rolls: 8/10 Crispy and delicious, my obly gripe is that the sauce that I got was kinda mid. Must have just been old sauce because the flavor wasn't there. Bubble Tea: 7/10 More like dessert and a slushie texture so keep thar in mind. The taro is fine but not something I'd go out my way for. Now despite expecting hold in the wall prices, Pho Ca Dao is pricier than expected. I could compare to Lotus which I had a month ago for about the same price but they provided a far larger portion of sides including chicken wings compared to here, not to mention superior service. Overall if you're in the area I guess this works but note there are better Pho options.

I lived in the Houston and Garland Texas area all my life where there is a large vietnamese population... and for the past 5 months, I have just been exploring Minnesota and Wisconsin and Illinois for vietnamese food. This evening... I was just craving pho. lets start with the ambiance. Its a pretty hip place once you get inside. I do like the cultural blend of modern and old school, and you see it with the different type people that come in. The staff there was prompt, and unlike my old school favorite in Richardson Texas... the staff to customer ratio was high. So the service was quick and attentive. Now for the pho. I went with the Dac Biet because I never know sometimes if I will get tough precut preprocessed meats... not in this case. I felt that all the ingrediants were fresh...and catered toward the old school viet palette, which I thank you. I understand a lot of pho house have to stay in business and cater to the local palette but this one was spot on. You can just breath in the right mixture of ingrediants. The bowl was reasonably priced, and the portions were similar to what I am used to having in Houston. It was fantastic as I scarfed it down to quick and forgot to take a picture. However, all the pictures that I have seen associated with this location are accurate. Overall, I would come back here. I am interested in trying their Stone pho next time as th emenu advertisement made it look tasty.

The restaurant was clean, quiet, and welcoming. I also appreciated the simple, thoughtfully curated menu. Instead of pages of choices, they focus on what they do best--noodles, curries, and appetizers--and it shows. I ordered the Pad See Ew at the "Shy" (Level 1) spice, and it was perfect for me. It was just the right amount of 'bite' for my taste buds. The spice levels are cleverly named, progressing to "First Step" "Brave," and "Native." The Thai tea was excellent--freshly steeped and clearly a labor of love. It took a little longer to prepare, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The mango sticky rice was to die for and the perfect way to end the meal. Combined with our friendly server and relaxed atmosphere, this was one of those unexpected finds that makes traveling so enjoyable. I'm so glad we decided to stroll in. Highly recommend!
