AMERICAN family owned and operated. All workers speak English!! Felt like I was working with my family and they go above and beyond to get the job done! They worked hard and had all the heavy equipment to move the dirt, demo the old concrete patio area and haul it away. Had issues with my permit being approved which delayed the project for a month but no worries they didn't ask for any money until the project was done. This is our third job with Hoaglund and Sons, and they have never once complained (unlike other contractors) about a project being too big or too small. We needed a driveway to connect to a basketball court we are no longer using so we can park an RV. We asked that the driveway have some character, since it was replacing our front yard grass. The work took 4 days. Eric came out and installed the coolest curved driveway with a wave pattern. We get nothing but compliments. Looks great and saves us money on water. They damage the stucco on my house. They had to remove the concrete that they poured because it was less than the required distance from my stucco on the exterior walls of my house. The concrete cracked within a month of them pouring it. Waste of $14,000 read more

I'm not happy about writing this review. I really wanted to like these people and have them do more work for me. But unfortunately I found it was unprofessional, poorly communicated, and also not showing when they said they would. I have to mention that when they finished they had a 20-year-old grandchild bring me the bill and ask for the check instead of showing me the finished work making sure I'm happy and satisfied with the work done. (I'm guessing they would've known I was not very happy). They just left without a word! No thank you, no handshake and thank you for your business. I had to text them and ask if they were done. And now here's the final reason I had to right this review. They damaged my rear sliding glass door screen, they damaged my rain gutter drain, someone hit my wall in my driveway and most importantly the work that was done looks terrible. There's gaps in the concrete where you can see the rebar. Again, I wish I didn't have to write this because I felt the owner and the family were nice people and I would like to have had a better experience. read more

I contacted Hoaglund & Sons via their website form, and Eric emailed me within a day or two to set up a time to come by and give us an estimate. He came on June 29, and told us he'd be in touch within a couple days since they were fairly busy. When a week had gone by with no contact, I emailed him. I emailed again about a week after that. I texted on July 25. I have yet to get any response from anyone at the company. Based on this lack of communication, I cannot recommend that anyone attempt to use Hoaglund & Sons for their project... which is sad, because Eric seemed really nice when he came over. read more

We needed someone to patch concrete for us after a plumbing issue in the front of our house. Eric III came out and gave us a free estimate. It wasn't a large job but he was willing to help us. The plumber was not able to finish on time so Eric was flexible and even came out to our home on a Sat. for us. His fee was reasonable. We were very pleased with his work. He tried his best to match the color of our concrete and stamped it too. Eric was professional, friendly and neat. He cleaned everything up after finishing his work.
