I guess my claustrophobia was kicking in, but not as bad as other times and places I've been... Hello submarine simulation. But the ladies here were nice & friendly. Setting an appointment was easy. Forms to be completed. ALL METAL JEWELRY has to be removed. And changing in what looks to be a broom closet, oh boy what a treat. I think the facilities could've been a little more modern & up to date; since I had no choice but to look at the ceiling, I spotted several ceiling tiles that needed to be replaced for either being broken or stained. The floor was a bit off as well, like uneven. Maybe it was due to the weight of the machine. From the outside, there looks to have been a trailer added on to house the machine. I expected more in that it was a medical facility of sorts. But Que Sera Sera!!!! The entire process was about an hour, so for all intents and purposes, you can do it on your lunch break... hey, nothing beats SLEEPING ON YOUR LUNCH BREAK!!!

If your back hurts in sitting or standing position , it makes more sense to have your MRI study at the same position. Kudos for the facility for having late appointments for those like me that cannot easily leave work early. My appointment was for 7 PM, but I found out that they have appointments until 9 PM. This center features 4 MRI's, and complements the 2 additional MRI's in the main campus. Also, they are looking to get 2 more MRI's for a total of 8. The lobby was very clean upon my arrival and the receptionist was polite. Not super personable, but polite. When my name was called, I was greeted by Lauren, who showed me where to secure my metal personal effects and showed me where to wait until I was called in to the procedure room. Lauren was very polite and personable. After only a 2-3 minute wait, my MRI technician, Mark, called me into the procedure room. Mark was very polite and provided a very thorough explanation of the MRI process and what to expect. He was the consummate professional, hooked me up with my choice of Pandora music and before I knew it, 25 minutes had passed and the procedure was over. This is an excellent facility.
