This store is so amazing. They have an abundance of inventory above and beyond the stores in Harvey and Slidell. Being my first time here, I was quite impressed with how well stocked it is and how staff are willing to help you find items. More than anything with these stores, I love the atmosphere and the wall decor. Many of them are themed and faith centered. I came here looking for specific glass jars, as the particular ones I needed were out of stock online. Not only did they have them, I found more stylish ones and stocked up expeditiously, LOL! Customer service is excellent and their sales are always inviting. I think I've found my favorite Hobby Lobby here in Covington. read more

I am in craft overload. This store is causing me an overwhelming amount of mental anguish. Why are there no other men in this store? Has something happened? Am I the only one crazy enough to come here? Those were the thoughts running through my brain as I walked through this store. Thank god for Yelp allowing me to distract my brain from the crafts. This store contains every craft supply known to man. Christmas ornaments, pipe cleaners, beads, leatherwork, frames, fake flowers, etc. are all here. This store is huge. It is amazing how much stuff they have. I just couldn't take it. If your a man and you think pipe cleaners are for cleaning the gas tubes on your AR, go to Academy while your significant other goes here. I never thought the day would come when I would live so close to a Hobby Lobby, okay 35 miles to me is close. When I entered Hobby Lobby it was like everything stopped for me to intake all the craft greatness. I didn't know where to start I was so overwhelmed. This store has everything you want. You have any craft project in mind you could make it happen with the help of this store. I was just overwhelmed with all the possibilities. Love that store, I will definitely be back shortly! This is one of my favorite stores. I could just shop all day. I have been here several times and no one has stood out with extraordinaire customer service as Karen in frames did the other day. She's very patient and observant. I took in my wedding portrait and a old brass mirror that was passed down from generations in my family. I was torn between 3 frames and she showed me different matte options and gave her honest expertise in thoughts. She gladly offered to complete the frame immediately. My husband returned the next day with the mirror to get a wire hook and she happened to be there. He was pleased with her knowledge and friendliness as well. Ask for Karen next time you need frames or advice on how to match art or wall hangings. read more

This store has no appreciation for it's customers and lacks customer service in the worst way. Birth the cashier, assistant manager and manager were very rude and condescending when I asked if they would honor a discount that was available last week (and will also be available next week, as it alternates) they were out of stock when I came in the week they were on sale. When I came in this week the gave me a total attitude and said I should have asked for a rain check. How was I supposed to know to do this? They lost a large sale because u left my basket and I will be telling EVERYONE I know to avoid this particular Hobby Lobby. I think I will avoid their chain totally when I found out they deny their female workers fair access to birth control under their insurance. Covington seems to have their own "mini midwest" going on here on Pinnacle Parkway. When I lived in Indiana, I had a Hobby Lobby, Kohls, Steak n Shake, and Buffalo Wild Wings all within a 10 minute drive of my apartment. Now, they are all about 60 mins away from my home in Marrero, but convenient when I feel like a short road trip. Hobby Lobby is absolutely awesome. If you need ANY crafting stuff, they probably have it. Me? I'm not artsy. I go there for cheap home/office decor. On my last trip, I picked up some awesome candle holders at 50% off. I've also scored some cheap artwork in the past. They also have furniture. Friendly people working the checkout, too. Oh, but keep in mind that they are closed on Sundays! read more

It's an "ok" place for home decor. Prices are marked up because they put everything on sale ...eventually. So you have to play the waiting game until what your looking for is on sale for up to 50% off. Would be better just to have cheaper pricing up front. Also, they have notoriously long lines. Now they may have 4 employees standing up front but only one on a register. They will call and wait 10-15 minutes and tell the customer "someone is coming" but they won't help you. I do like the decor in the store. There are other home decor places with more options but this one is in town. And it's kept clean. read more

This store is the "Craft Mecca of the World"! They stock every imaginable craft item that your mind may muster! OMG! If you have a tendency to crafts, this could be your second residence. The service is decent and the prices are bearable, but there is one big caveat- the checkout! Do not be in a rush to pound the pavement because this part will take up most of your day! read more

I love this place. They have such really unique and beautiful things for your home! It's amazing the variety of things you can get at this place. I only have one complaint and it's not that they are closed on Sunday... It's the customer service..... They hardly have anybody they to help or assist with customers. Then same at the register... This is a fun store. I love looking around when Im bored. nice staff and cool stuff to look at. I never compare prices as I feel these are impulse buys so I cant say if they are competitive but I have to say its a fun place to be and I always have some fun there. I give this store the highest rating because it's got something for everybody!! I use to think it was only a craft type store, but it's more than that! It has the most beautiful gift items for children on up to adults. The store has decorative designs, classy designs, flowers of ever kind, projects for the kids, photo frames, professional framing, furniture, Holiday decorations and many more of the most beautiful decor you would never think of right there at Hobby Lobby! Prices vary, however, are very well suited for all with sale items, along with using your coupons right off your cellphone!! I love this store!
